We booked a Resort Superior Lagoon Twin Queen Room. It was wonderful, very spacious and our verandah was right on the pool. Huge bathroom, lots of towels, comfy beds, outdoor lounge, both fans and air-conditioning. We loved room service breakfast each morning. Amazing sunset views from their Il Pianto Italian restaurant. Staff everywhere on the property were friendly and welcoming. We stayed for Territory Day - so much fun to be right on Mindil Beach for all the fireworks and the ADF flyover. Right next door to Mindil Markets. Was excellent.

The constant loud music at the pool bars was awful.

Stayed for 5 nights. Rooms are not made up until around 4pm each day and then all is done is beds made. This means floors are not great to walk on after about day 3 Probably why there were also ants in the bathroom and on the worktop. You get complimentary water at the start of your stay. Coffee and milk is not replenished throughout your stay. During our stay there were 2 days when the infinity pool was not available due to private function but the lagoon pool was always open. Some furniture is a little tired but overall satisfied woth room

The staff were generally friendly and helpful. In particular, Kellie, was absolutely fantastic and helped with various queries I had. The food and restaurants were pretty good and not too expensive, as was room service. The pools are rather nice of course. The location is also pretty good. A short walk to Cullen Bay and only 10 minutes scoot into town, using the electric scooters outside the casino (which is always a bit of fun to do with the family). Of course, it's also great to just be able to pop down at almost any time of the day/night to have a little gamble - very enjoyable.

The walls are very thin, so you can hear almost everything the neighbours do. Fortunately, my daughter wasn't in the room to hear the amorous sounds coming from next door. This was not something I, or my family, wanted to be subjected to. Albeit it only lasted for 40 seconds!

Perfect location. Easy and enjoyable walk to Mindil beach. Very close to Darwin CBD and marina. All staff very nice and friendly. Fantastic sand pool with nice but super small bar wait 20min+ for a drink. Maria in the reception fantastic made this stay worth it

For a 5 star hotel didn’t find it to be very clean.. the infinity pool area, outside bar and changing rooms/toilets had some garbage on the floor. Does not represent a 5 star hotel. Bit sloppy outdoor tequila bar is a big container with overpriced tequila drinks that only opens at 12.. all the over drinks need to be ordered indoors

Reception staff were lovely and very helpful on arrival (we arrived approx. 1am). Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We were very happy with our room upgrade which had a nice view of the ocean. Breakfast was fine. If visiting the Sports Bar and you feel like something non alcoholic, I recommend the raspberry lemonade.

We fully agree with others in that the rooms are a little dated but this really didn't bother us much. We arrived after midnight and just needed a comfortable room to sleep before our adventures the next day. It would be great if the Sports Bar could maybe serve light meals after midnight for those guests arriving on late flights

Nicely designed units located around the lagoon pool with option of sandy beach, shade options, deck areas and swim up bar. units were roomy with own balcony, good restaurants located in resort plus option of using infinity pool or Mindil Beach.

A small point but in the unit, the door separating the bathroom area was a heavy self closing door, would be good if it could be kept open so you didn’t have to keep opening it every time you used the bathroom. The loud music at the infinity pool wasn’t for me but maybe I’m just getting too old, I was happy to relax at the lagoon pool.

Great pool arera, but a pity that the outside bar was not open on the first day we were there. One hour extended checkout time at no cost was appreciated. In room coffee machine, altrhough not working properly was very convenient.

Confirmation checkin message left by a person whose language and delivery made the message unintelligible. A follow up phone call which required me to follow promptsd just took me round and round in circles. Absolutely useless.

The best location with wonderful sunsets over the infinity pool

It’s getting tired. The room needs a renovation and isn’t what I would expect for the money. The bed was comfortable enough but when I looked at the mattress, it was pretty old and tired under the sheets. The in house Italian restaurant reminds me of a cruise ship, where it’s trying to be Italian, looks Italian but the food is no where up to what’s presented. Disappointed as it looked lush. If we stayed again it would be in the lagoon rooms, but they were more expensive again.

Accessibility to pools, restaurants and fitness centre. Staff were friendly and professional. Gorgeous and well maintained grounds and gardens. The Lagoon Day Spa was beautiful.

Exorbitant price for the room itself, which was very basic. For the price we paid, breakfast should have been included.

Firstly, the girls on the front desk are your best asset, especially when enhanced with a truly lovely Irish accent. They were informative and friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable but the shining star of your resort is the lagoon pool…wow!

Difficult to add a negative however I don’t understand why couples are not upgraded when rooms are available. We return home and tell everyone about the accommodation we’ve had and the experiences enjoyed, discussions / recommendations for our age group and our younger generations. Spreading the word,
