I was impressed by the service - all the staff were very friendly, helpful and hospitable. The room was small, but clean and well-equipped with a lovely large bathroom and good quality toiletries. The bed was VERY comfortable and he bedding light but cosy. Nice large TV. Best of all is the restaurant and the location. I had a light breakfast, and a superb lunch - beatifully fresh pasta with crab. These were all eaten out on the small terrace, which has probably one of the best views in the harbour.

It was in the centre of town which was great, parking was quite a way with a heavy bag so my husband carried both bags. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean except for ceiling fan it was full of dust I wouldn't like to be the first one to turn that on after all winter. The evening meal was quite expensive for what we had but really good. Drinks in the bar after was cosy. The next mornings breakfast was brilliant and all the time our dog was allowed everywhere with us. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is located on the shoreline and has its own small terrace that opens onto the Fowey River and the morning sun. The terrace is popular and guests are social there. A tame and rather well-mannered family of seagulls also lives there, and therefore no food is served on the terrace. The restaurant and the lounge downstairs are cozy and beautifully decorated. They are really necessary when it rains pouring from the sky. The breakfast is rich and delicious and there is something suitable for everyone on the menu. The rooms are also comfortable and quite spacious. Everywhere is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The central location enables quick access to shops and other restaurants and cafes. Fowey also offers a lot of things to see and sports and outdoor activities. Leave the car at home! You don't need it, because the most specific sights and outdoor routes can be reached by boat, bicycle and bus. If necessary, drive your car directly from the NORTH highway to the parking area on the northern edge of the city. Don't drive through the crowded one lane city center for nothing even though your GPS suggests it!

The bed mattress was a little worn out. There could be some more comfortable chairs on the hotel terrace opening to Fowey river.

Superior Room - Cramped but nice partial views. Very hot even without heating. No windows just French Doors which we left ajar, even overnight. (Late booking, only room available) No lift, fairly steep stairs when carrying luggage (3 floors)

Very Nice friendly staff and room was a good size .

Room was very hot even after turning off all the radiators. Bathroom dated and all the hotel looked a little tired. Asked about dog prices before booking as they charged us twice ,we had 2 small dogs & thought it one fee for them. No parking unfortunately so ended up paying £10.50 for 24 hours with a 10min walk to hotel & up hill with bags on check out . But we found a local car park after for £3.50 24hours would be been a lot easier, if we had be advised of this .

Hotel is right in the center of Fowey, with a great restaurant. We stayed 4 nights and made it our base for visiting other great sites in Cornwall like Penzance, Padstow & Port Issac Seafood in the restaurants in town is mostly local & really fresh!

If arriving by private car you will need to park about 1Km away. Noting you can drop off your bags outside the Hotel in the one-way street system

Lovely old building in a Stunning location in the heart of the lovely town of Fowey. Great breakfast choice & helpful staff. A drink on their Patio with the views of the harbour is a must.

Its location in the heart of the town made unloading with bags awkward but it just needs a bit of planning as others have said. Stop in the road quickly drop bags then drive to 24hr carpark up the road a bit. Ten minute walk back.

The property was in perfect location with lush views. And the room was a good size with everything you needed and more. The shower was great pressure and was in a good size bath.

There wasn’t enough sockets, as we had to move the kettle and put it into the extension lead on the floor, also the kettle wasn’t working correctly and we had to manually turn it off and it would have over heated. The bathroom needed a good clean and tidy up, also the extractor fan didn’t work.

The Loft room had spectacular views across the bay. Great choice at breakfast; continental and full Cornish. The dinners were excellent with locally sourced food choices. The outside seating area, the deck, onto the estuary was a great location to relax in the afternoon. Option of having the room cleaned, great sustainability initiative. Overall a great base to explore the coast.

Be aware at this time of year the seagulls are particularly noisy.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful, lovely room, breakfast was spot on, food in the evening was really nice as were the staff. Lovely views from the terrace. Make friends with the seagulls 😅. Ask about the daily tokens.

Could be a bit noisy early in the morning if You have a street facing room but You get used to it. The cost was a little bit high but in line with Fowey, I would go back.
