Location was good room was a good size

There is no versillities to wash the cups Had trouble filling the kettle in the bathroom vanity There was very few glasses only 1 teaspoon There was only enough sugar for 1cup of coffee or tea which also was very limited The breakfast was great size but on both occasions was cold after a long wait to get it I complained and they new about the problem but couldn't fix it Also there is no cover over the balcony so even with a little bit of rain the table and chairs got wet The lounge chair was very uncomfortable as the seat sloped forward to tip you off

i was overwhelmed by the very friendly greeting on arrival (you would be surprised that you dont get that everywhere you stay). The use of the lifts and eating arrangements clearly explained. I liked the soundproofing of the room which to me is very important. when i went to the restaurant the menu was varied to suit all tastes. the food was delectable, high standards to say the least. the wait and bar staff were very friendly to everyone, as it is a public restaurant, and very helpful when giving recommendations. the breakfast cafe again had a wide range of food and drink choices. the pancakes were very delicious. you are only say 100m away from the main shopping precinct and theatre so once you have parked in the underground carpark you can walk to almost everywhere.

there was nothing that i didn't like. the Oaks has it all.

The accommodation exceeded expectations and the lady at check in was lovely. We had upgraded our room online on booking.com from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom suite but the hotel was not notified. However this was quickly rectified on check in. Recommendation to anyone changing their booking online to confirm direct with the hotel because they may not have received the updated information. We were just grateful that the extra room was available when we arrived.

Great location. We had tickets to the theatre a two minute walk through the carpark opposite the hotel. Also a few minutes' walk to the CDB and the Myer Centre. My mum and I had an executive room very spacious - sink, microwave, toaster and crockery. Staff very friendly and helpful

Twin share room single beds very narrow and not particularly comfortable. I'm guess the beds were a standard single. I would have expected a king single bed in an executive room. Parking some of the park spaces were tricky to get into and spread across the parking lot as there were spaces allocated to private businesses that were part of the hotel complex. The breakfast was described as " a good breakfast" Mum and I were expecting a buffet style breakfast. I would have expected the coffee to be a "bottomless cup" instead additional cups were to be purchased.

The rooms were a great size and very comfortable/ clean. Great proximity to the main city hub. Walking distance to grand central shopping centre.

I wouldn’t advertise “cot”. I would advertise “portable cot/ or travel cot” If I had known it was a travel cot , I would know that my baby would end up sleeping in bed with me anyway as those things aren’t comfortable at all. So would have booked a single room. I booked two bedroom apartment thinking it would be an actual cot and I would stand a chance on sleeping in my own bed. So that was a little disappointing.

Check-in staff & breakfast staff & cafe were amazing! But when I visit Toowoomba again I would definitely stay here but not buy breakfast from hotel options. Its definitely 7.5/10. I would definitely stay here again! Its kinda due to the old outdated feel setting of the cafe and also our breakfast was different everyday... so obvi different chefs.

Liked the location and walking distance to the theatre and main shopping centre, Also happy that there was a cafe downstairs for breakfast and the option of the Rock for other meals. The room was comfortable and clean and spacious for our needs. We liked the modern bathroom and little balcony.

Was unsure of the parking arrangements but explained to us and it worked it for us. The noise on Saturday afternoon/evening filtering up from the Rock side bar.

My initial booking was for two single beds. Later I rang to request an accessible bathroom, as I was travelling with my elderly mother. In responding to the accessible bathroom, the hotel initially forgot about the single beds. However, they were able to change our room to one that met both criteria. We were disappointed when we went down to breakfast to find that the chef hadn’t turned up for work, so there were no fresh meals available. Fortunately the hotel had a supply of prepared meals which sufficed.

It was bad luck for us and for the hotel not to have anyone in the kitchen for the breakfast service.

This is just a terrific hotel, large rooms, great facilities and local to the main centre and shops. The staff were great and everything from check-in to check-out went very smoothly

The breakfast area (Rocks) was understaffed and therefore the wait for coffee and croissant was longer than it should have. This may have been a problem on this particular day rather than an ongoing issue - so no complaints

Newish hotel in the heart of town. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and city parks. Large room with great views (if at the end of the building rooms). Enormous TV with great TV channel selection.

Pillows were very soft (no medium to hard options of the 4 pillows provided). Broken ironing board. Crockery/cutlery not replaced each day. Instead they make you wash your dirty dishes in the bathroom hand basin that you use to shave, brush your teeth, have make-up dropped into. I was on the 5th floor and each night I heard noises from the roof that sounded like roof panels flapping in the wind. No mini bar selection.
