Location was super practical, short walk from station. Easy to go to station bus stops or train station as well as buses to other parts of beppu (although i couldnt figure buses so well but thtat is not about the hotel). There was an onsen in the hotel which was good for the price and the room was ok size for me. Super beautiful view from my room as it was a bit higher could see beppu city and the mountains a little bit

Sound isolation (to outside, not inside) was maube not perfect but it did not bother me I slept very well

Centrally located, only 2 minutes away from the main station and about 10 minutes away from the bus station. Other comments mentioned old carpets and rooms but it looks like the hotel has been under some remodelling. There was no funky smell in our room, and the lobby is very modern. They have lockers for your luggage for free and have a lovely coffee shop with plenty of space to work from in the ground floor. The person in the reception was just lovely and so kind

The location was so good, very close to the station and conbini. Lots of nice food options around. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Great facilities and amenities. Would definitely go back and wish we had been staying longer.

We (2 people) had booked a double room each but if two people were sharing a double room it probably would be a bit cramped.

Very close to the train and bus station, just 5 minutes walking. Very nice onsen, with sauna, external bath and 3 pools at different temperatures. Room size in the average but quite well organized, which compensate for the usual small room size in Japan hotels. It is located in the central quarter where there are very good restaurants and the larger shopping gallery. One of the receptionist was able to make a good Italian expresso :)

The staff is helpful, they helped me a lot with a lost piece of luggage/storage. My room was spacious for a solo traveler. The lobby is very welcoming.

The onsen could be bigger — it felt very crowded at times. I didn’t like that the tv in the sauna couldn’t be shut off either.

Convenient location. Hot bath. Great views. Good room. Staff very helpful… helped with checking in and softer pillows.

Check in at five was difficult for us as we were tired from travelling. Thank you to the staff who allowed us to check in a little earlier.

Affordable with nice and welcoming front desk (though reading reviews it might depend on who's working). There is a bath on one of the floors as well as amenities including bath towels and toiletries. Meets standards for everything else. Convenient cafe on first floor. Great location close to lots of food and beppu station.

Hotel is a bit dated and is noticable with decor and old carpeting. There is only one elevator.

Onsen and Sauna, it was not crowded in the morning and facility is clean. Staffs at the front desk are great, super helpful!! Location great- near food places and train/bus station.

Cramped rooms. Had to get another room. Small bed and tight space for 2 people with big luggages.

The staff is incredibale in their desire to assist with helping answer your questions reagrding your stay and help with any query's related to Beppu and having a great stay there!

Signs for floor amenities could have some small arrows to guide you, laundry snack room etc, no biggie.

Convenient location. Both the room and common facilities were clean. Onsen was nice. Check in was at 17:00 which is rather late, however, in turn the check out was at 12:00, which I liked.

Someone had left the hotel alarm clock on, making me wake up extremely early on my vacation. Wish they would check it.
