Good location a few minutes walk from station, quiet room, good lighting, large desk to work at, good shower pressure and nozzle height, counter space in bathroom, big bed.
Breakfast starts at 7:00, but I'd have preferred a little earlier. Breakfast options are strange, with a choice of sandwiches, plus sides of salad and potato chips. No traditional breakfast foods. Sandwiches are set fillings without customisation. Staff told me that they couldn't make me a sandwich from the menu without broccoli and replace it with pickels, even though there was a tray of pickels at the counter. Even asking them to just make it for me without broccoli then caused a bit of confusion for the staff, who finally agreed that such a thing was possible. Really? Wi-fi worked well most of the time but sometimes had no internet connection. 5th floor elevator area has a big spider web with a spider living on it. I'm not sure how that has been missed by the cleaning staff.

Nice interior design especially the wood style flooring (it’s not dirty carpet!) We had a nice view from our room. The location isn’t the best if you want to go to Osu shopping district a lot but the walk down is cool, also the streets around the hotel are super chill and nice, and with the big open green space right there it’s PERFECT if you have children. The breakfast wasn’t a LOT of food but it was tasty and fresh.
The outside bath wasn’t very hot at all and the fake plastic plant wall smelt really bad like plastic. Also it wasn’t all that clean - when you sit in the bath inside you can see all the grime under the benches at the sit-down shower sections.

Quiet and along park so nice to be on a side street away from central traffic. Rooms were nicely lit. Public spa bath was main reason I booked this place. Breakfast was good and staff pleasant.
Room showed some signs of needing meticulous cleaning. Splatter marks were seen on lower wall near outlet. Refrigerator inside cabinet gave off heat so kept the cabinet door open. Bathroom shower was clean but toilet room also seemed like it could use extra attention to lower wall.

Everything. But it’s location most of all.
When checking out I forgot a paper bag in my room with important souvenirs. I returned a few hours later to ask about it, and an investigation revealed that one of the cleaning ladies took my souvenirs to her home without telling anyone. But the staff at the reception was immensely helpful and was able to contact the person and retrieve all of my souvenirs. I’m grateful to no end for such an outcome.

The rooms were big enough to open our suitcases fully (two large) and the service was excellent. The bath had an "outdoor" area. The hotel is in a quieter area further from the city centre and is very self-service friendly. The staff also helped us organise luggage delivery to our next hotel and took care of the whole process for us.
Some rooms were not as clean as they could be. There was a lot of dust, but they came to clean it once we reported the issue.

Staff… courteous and helpful Location… the quieter end of Central Park; easy access to the main points of interest eg the castle; near the subway entrance; convenience stores dotted around as are supermarkets; a short walk away to cafes. Coin-operated washer & dryer… good to have as we were travelling with minimal luggage.
The shower curtain needs to be changed - mouldy smelling. Had to use antiseptic spray to tone down the smell.

The breakfast. It was delicious and with room delivery, was most welcome every morning. Especially the sweet red bean and butter sandwich. The onsen was excellent and clean. Staff were exceptional, polite, friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful in the sakura season, Hisayaburi park is right next door, amenities everywhere, short walks to everything you need and quiet enough to enjoy some peace. The hotel was very clean, I'll be returning again.
I'm struggling to think of something, maybe the 8am check-out is a touch too early, but it's really not an issue.

The location was great, and the room was very comfortable and thoughtfully fitted out. The size of the room was excellent.
There was a bit of dusting that could have been done, but otherwise the room and bed were very clean. There were a few little amenities that would have been helpful but they didn't have, like providing a shower cap or a bottle of free water.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood across from a greenway/park. The hotel was a few blocks from a subway station that went directly to Nagoya station. There is a small specialty grocery store down the street that sold fresh fruit. The hotel is also walking distance to Nagoya Castle. For vegetarians and vegans, there is s delicious vegan option on the breakfast menu.
Nothing.

Love the common bath on the top floor! It was great to have a hot water soak after a long day of walking (which you do a lot in Japan) The room is on the small side but sufficient. Staff are very helpful and friendly!
It is a little walk from the subway station and no supermarket near by.
