We intended to leave for home after breakfast on the last day, we were then advised by telephone late on the last evening that breakfast wouldn’t start until 9am, the following morning, there was a note under the door to say that breakfast was further delayed until 9:30am, we went down at 9:30 to be told by the breakfast cook that he was unable to offers hot breakfast as they had scheduled deep cleaning of the kitchen, appliances and ducts, that had overran, and he could not put the oven/hotplate on, also he could make toast. This meant that the only option for breakfast was Cereal or Croissants, very disappointed that we were delayed and then provided with a sub standard option.

Nice place and friendly staff. Stock was suspect my wife had 1 flavouredgin, but there wasn’t enough in the bottle for a second, and no new bottle available

Breakfast was excellent. We had the 'small hot breakfast ' which was more than enough ( I doubt we could have eaten a large one!!) Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean, tasteful and good value. We had a large balcony overlooking the pub garden which was useful as it was a very warm night and we left the patio door open.

We would have liked a couple of lounge/deck chairs so we could have enjoyed the balcony more and you did have to get out of bed to turn the bedside lamps on or off but this is just nit picky. On one of the hottest evenings of the year air conditioning would have been nice but could not be expected for the money we paid. A fan was provided but was too noisy to use at night.

Good location, near main A47 and handy for Broads, coast, Norwich. Room was large, huge comfortable bed, big bath - loads of hot water and good shower pressure. We had a balcony overlooking rear, airy room in hot weather. A quiet night's sleep.Excellent restaurant, lovely food at resaonable price, Good breakfast - steak and eggs recommended. Good bar and pleasant outdoor garden seating. Free car park on site and 11am check out appreciated. We will visit again !

Upon arrival I liked that the pub had a large car park. Plenty of room for parking even if it was busy, which it wasn't during my stay. Check in was at the bar and I was then shown to my room. I had booked a single and whilst it wasn't particularly large it was fine for me. There were lots of tea bags, coffee sachets and two chocolate chip cookies which were appreciated. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and the shower worked well. So overall I was happy with the room. There aren't a lot of food options in Acle so I had my evening meal at the pub. As it was a Sunday I opted for roast beef and this was superb. I'd booked bed and breakfast so the next morning I enjoyed a very large cooked breakfast. Lovely. The staff were pleasant and helpful and I enjoyed my stay.

I'd struggle to find anything I didn't like. It was a good stay.

Bed was huge and comfortable with a lovely balcony. The shower was easy to use, hot and with good pressure and all the little toiletries were a lovely touch. It was warm in there but just right and the staff were great as we needed an early check in to get to a wedding. Breakfast was included and there was lots to choose from, it was fresh and tasty, filtered coffee was great.

The tv didn’t work, there was sound but no picture and we pressed all the buttons. Didn’t matter though as we only have it on for noise to sleep and we had a late night/early start.

The food was exceptional, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast also this morning was spectacular. Certainly be re visiting The waitress on last night was awesome as was the waitress this morning. Thanks to the manager for putting the flames out on my napkin which I accidentally set a light on my candle. I've checked in tonight at a commercial hotel which doesn't come close !

I did request a double bed on my notes when booking and got a single, wasn't the end of the world I'll remember to say something next time when I arrive. The room I was in on the front also has the cars and trucks wizzing bye so struggled to sleep.

Location is brilliant and Benji the manager went above and beyond to accommodate us in every way possible as we arrived early after a 5hr drive so he let us check in earlier , he was helpful and very friendly also I must mention lovely Sarah at breakfast the nxt morning as I suffer with hidden disability’s and she was so helpful and really made me feel comfortable and at ease So thank you Sarah very much!

Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional and so were the staff and service

No wardrobe just open ‘cupboard’. No bath mat in bath. We stayed 2 nights and breakfast on 1st morning was poor but on second morning much much better

The hotel was well appointed, with its own bar and restaurant. The garden was a bonus. We sat outside in the longest evenings of the year while the staff waited on us, and we made friends with a hedgehog.

We should have researched the location better, as Acle was further out from Norwich than we had hoped.

Great place to stay, in a lovely, quiet village. Also had a 24/7 petrol station with M&S shop literally 2 minutes down the road which had the lowest fuel prices I’ve seen in weeks, which was handy after a long drive up. The room was great value for money with its own private shower/toilet and had a kettle in with biscuits/tea/coffee supplies. Loads of parking too even on a Saturday night.
