The apartment had the best location in Albufeira in my opinion, it was close to the strip(6 mins) without being in the center of it all yet still in walking distance from the old town (about 22 mins). It is in a beautiful neighbourhood about 2 minutes from the beach. There are restaurants all around you so you don't have to struggle to find a place to eat. Although the furniture was a bit old, they reminded me of home and I had a very relaxed and comforting stay. The host was so kind and accommodating, she gave fantastic recommendations of things to try and avoid in the area.

There were a lot of stairs( wasn't a problem for me but may be helpful for persons with reduced mobility to note this).

This apartment was perfect. It’s a cozy, traditional space right next to a beautiful beach! The host was amazing and took the time to show us around the property while telling us about the history. The apartment could not have been in a better location. It was a short walk to a supermarket and the main strip, and there was also a spacious parking lot just around the corner (a HUGE plus in any European city lol)! We would definitely stay here again!

Nothing about the property! A side note, the Oura Beach could be incredibly crowded and loud. It seemed like a big party area. But if you walk 5-10 minutes down the coast, you come across nearly empty beaches with beautiful scenery!!

The entire apartment was lovely

The photo gives the impression of overlooking the sea. This is not the case. It is a little way away from the sea front.

The property is located very near to the sea beach, about 5 min. of walk to the sea beach and the restaurant and market area around the sea beach. There's a beautiful bougainvillea tree at the gate of the property. The rooms are cosy and comfortable.

The number of the power sockets are quite low. Though there are plenty of utensils and cutlery provided but we had to ask the owner for the pack of tea pouch for our morning tea and snacks.

Huge apartment, loads of storage, very comfortable beds, great shower, no shortage of hot water, plenty of towels, and they were replaced during the week, too. Location a short walk to the beach with plenty of shops cafes and great restaurants nearby. The main strip- New town only a few mins walk in the other direction. Quiet location at night, so slept well. The Old town is easily accessible by Uber, it would be too far to walk to it, especially with children.

There was no air conditioning, but the fans provided were a great help.

Spacious, attractive, excellent shower, plenty of places to put things, 2 dining tables. Wonderful patio w/ view of ocean. Lots of towels and pillows, which are substantial. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Although they advertise heat, it takes more than 24 hours to get to 22 degrees and even then there is no fan, so it doesn't heat the room. A dog next door barked a lot.

The receptionist was super kind and helpful and arranged for taxis and transfers. As a solo traveller this spot was perfect for long walks and good food. The beach is a stones throw away and it is beautifully clean.

It wasnt as much a dislike as an extreme cardio workout getting to the strip and beyond. If youre not good with hills, this may not be the spot for uou.

Cigarette smell from reception

Everything was greast and as expected, we have stayed at this location in the past and we knew exactly what to do and where to go. Location is centrical to everything, the strip, taxi rank, restaurants, pubs bars etc. Oura Beach is just a stone throw away with watersport activity rentals and doughnut sellers that walk along the beach, theres sunbed rentals also. Theres a public parking also, we stayed for 4 nights 5 days and it was 40 Euros and you could enter and exit the parking as many times as needed be. Supermarket also not far away for your daily groceries. Theres a communal terrace that you can use for BBqs. You can see the beach/sea from the balcony. EXCELLENT through and through and run by the most humblest lady you could ever meet.

Nothing, this is our place to go for our portugal holiday getaway with the family, hopefully we can return again next year and for a full week instead of just 5 days as we always try to pack in as much as we can when on holiday with the family.

We liked the view from the balcony, the bedrooms were also very nice. In the kitchen we could prepare our own food which was a big thing for us. The cleaner was very active, after a long day away our beds and clothes were all tidied up, the floor was clean and towels were changed so we left her some candy. Mrs receptionist was very nice and helpful. The hotel was near the ocean (about 2 minutes of walking) and also the "busy street" was about 3 minutes of walking.

A lot of young noisy people (mostly from NL and UK) in the area, but thats not hotel's fault in any way. People in this hotel were respectful and we didnt hear a thing.
