Unlike many guests, we stayed at this hotel for quite a long time – a whole week. It was very convenient for us because it is located very close to the airport, which was perfect as we had an early morning flight. It’s also close to the beach. Walking is not really necessary, as taxis Bolt are are really cheap. The villa has absolutely everything you might need . It’s very authentic, beautiful, and stylish. There are plenty of lounge areas and cooking spaces. You can sit and enjoy your meals or have coffee outdoors. The kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance and all the cookware you could wish for. Huge refrigerators and lots of free space. The room is small but comfortable. The bed is excellent, with fresh, clean white sheets. The bathrooms are spotless. We were very pleased with our stay.

Downside is that guests check in and out all the time, sometimes at night, and the sound of doors closing can be disturbing. but, it's more about the guests)) Also, there were no floor towels, and we would have liked the room to be cleaned occasionally.

We stayed here just for one night because our flight was very early in the morning. The house is close to the airport, and even at night it was easy to get an Uber. The house was big, and even though we heard other guests, we didn’t see anyone. The shared spaces, especially the bathroom, were clean. Our room (Farol) had air conditioning, lots of space for our things, and a very comfortable bed. If we have another early or late flight, we’d gladly stay at Pine House again. If we have another early or late flight to the south of Portugal in the future, we would definitely be happy to stay at Pine House again.

I liked the fact that there was so much space, and a dining room as well as a kitchen table. Also, when the sun was shining I would have lunch outside on the patio, if I wasn't on one of my day trips. There was nature all around, I found some lovely walks starting right outside the back gate. Río do Formosa nature trail. I Also loved that there was a garden and I could do my yoga outside in the sun.

I didn't like the key code arrangement, as the information didn't appear on my phone and it took ages to sort out, I had help from 2 Norwegian brothers. After that, I made sure that I was around at check in time to welcome New guess and help them send offer them a cup of tea. Nobody offered me one and left me outside with my luggage for hours until the Boys help me and invited me in.

Residential but quiet neighborhood, clean room with AC. Check in process was online and instructions provided were perfect. Host was very responsive as well even though we arrived late.

There was a misunderstanding in the booking process, we had booked a room with a private bath via Booking.com but when we got there we got a room with a shared bath. Not what was expected but the host let us know that at their end it showed that we had reserved a shared bath. We arrived late night and left early morning to catch a flight so it worked out.

We traveled in the very late autumn, so we had the entire villa to ourselves. I would especially like to mention the neighborhood - it is a really quiet, clean, safe place. Despite the close proximity to the airport, our sleep was hardly disturbed by anything: as it turned out, planes fly over Faro and over the ocean more often than over this area. The villa has an impeccable layout, the common area on the first floor is huge. In the kitchen we found coffee, tea, sugar and all the necessary utensils. In addition to the kitchen, the first floor has a dining room overlooking the quiet street and a large living room with a fireplace! And on the second floor there is a spacious open balcony. The place is ideal to live with kids or big company of travellers. Beach is very nearby, and you can catch the bus to Faro and be there in 15 mins. If you are a car traveller, there is a very high chance to park the car freely near the villa

The villa was clean enough, but all the surfaces were old, hence often sticky. Unpleasant smells were found in the bedroom and in places in the living room. We had a bedroom with its own bathroom, everything was quite decent but still on the level of light cleaning. I did find a hair dryer in the bathroom, but its handle was so sticky that I had to wrap tissues around it to dry my hair. All the furniture in the villa is old but in good condition. The lamps shine quite dimly. If you want the feel of an old family Portuguese house, this is the perfect place. If however you want perfect cleanliness, sterility, high level of comfort and new pieces of furniture, then this place will not suit you.

Communal kitchen is seldom used so nearly always it is yours if needed. Isabel and her team do a great job of thoroughly cleaning the whole place every morning. Even though there are I think 8 rooms there is plenty of lounge and outdoor space to relax including a rooftop patio so the house feels very spacious and has a nice relaxing vibe. Other guests come and go but are seldom seen. Uber from the airport 6 euro daytime....12 euro night time.....5 min drive. Thank you.Pine House for a number of excellent stays!

The location was lovely, very close to the airport, and the neighbourhood was so cute. We had a room with own bathroom and airconditioning, which was clean and comfortable. The rooftop is amazing, with beautiful view and nature amazing in the garden.

Even if it feels like it is the end of the city the room was bit noisy as the garbage truck took the trash out at 1 a.m and this could be heard even through a closed window. The walls are also thin, so you can hear the arrival/discussion of other guests.

Don't be put off by the proximity to the airport, this house is in a very peaceful and smart area and has the added *bonus* of being just 5 mins drive from the airport! Like many people I expect, we spent only a short night here before a very early flight home, however I'd love to have spent a few days staying as the facilities are superb - large kitchen, lounge, dining room, shared bathrooms - all spotlessly clean. Fast wi-fi and easy free parking in the street outside. The owner has thought of many nice touches, such as lights that come on automatically in the dark in the halls, as well as when you walk round the outside of the house. It's about a 20-minue drive into Faro so that's about the only downside of the location, but it's a winner in all other respects.

Perfect location, walking distance to the airport, near a forested area and salt flats where you can see flamingoes and thousands of crabs. Good bus connections both to town and to the beach (14,16). Beautiful luxurious villa, use of kitchen, fridge, garden and rooftop terrace.

If you plan to cook for yourself, you need to plan ahead as there was no shop nearby. There is a supermarket facing the bus station in Faro or a large shopping complex on the bus route 14.

This is a stunningly beautiful and fantastically clean and well equipped house. The bathroom is not en-suite but it was spotless and I think I had it to myself anyway. There was tea and coffee in the kitchen which was great for me as I arrived late at night and hadn’t shopped. The house is near to the airport. I walked but having done so if you are a woman on your own I would get a taxi. Simply because it is so quiet and you have to walk past a building site and a wooded area. There is a comfortable terrace with bbq and charcoal and the tools are provided. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house it is calm and an ideal place for a stop over. The staff were also friendly and pleasant.

As I said above late at night and on my own I would get a taxi next time. Otherwise it exceeded my expectations.
