We stayed at Queen Bee Hotel for one night and overall had a good experience. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. However, we did notice some leftover food inside the microwave from the previous guest, which was likely missed during cleaning. Also, during checkout, the front desk was initially unwilling to provide the invoice, saying they would email it after checking the room. I asked them to check the room immediately and issue the final bill, which they did after my request. Despite these small issues, our stay was still pleasant overall.

First of all, the price was great comparing to the facilities that it provided. Also, the room was with old decorations but rather clean, and no strange smells like some other hotels. Moreover, there’s free parking space by the building, which is very convenient. Although the noise proof is not that good, overall it is acceptable and we could sleep well most of the times at night.

There’s no entrance sign outside or inside of the hotel, we were confused a bit at first, it would be better to have a hotel sign near the entrance, as there were other businesses close by. Meanwhile, there was only one staff at front desk, seems quite busy answering calls and handling customer check-ins, we were alright to wait a bit considering the price, but could be better.

This pace is walking distance from the University of Manitoba and the CFL Stadium. There is nowhere else at the price and comfort. Please dont tell anyone. U of M has a great on campus bar and nearby Smittys will entertain and feed you.

I dont like footsteps on my ceiling. Stay on the second floor. The rooms are a bit spartan but the price and location cannot be beat. There are train tracks behind the hotel, you should stay in the front. The train does not run often and has only a few cars. Park in the front so the railway dust dos not land on your vehicle. Check out the restaurant which is unique in its Asian menu. perhaps beyond anything else in Winnipeg. The manager is over the top nice and entertaining.

Stayed there for one night before moving into my dorm at uni. Service was great, even though I arrived late at night. Check-in was quick and easy and they even offered to carry my suitcase up the staircase. The room was huge with comfortable beds, great amenities and a clean and spacious bathroom. Wifi worked great as well. Gave me the option to store my suitcase there for a few hours when I left in the morning.

That one guy in the room upstairs to us, he was stomping around from 12am to like 5 or 6am, maybe he was drinking? Idk, he was pretty noisy anyway but that's not the hotels fault

Was able to check in early which was nice. Two story hotel, stairs only. Very clean room, two soft queen beds, view onto Pembina Hwy (a bit of road noise at night but okay), fridge, microwave, desk, short table, 2 chairs, coffee maker, tea. Nice room. Close to University, Superstore, McDonalds and other restos. Parking on site, no charge, included wifi, all good. Overall, nice place, good price, clean, easy access all good.

All good, no complaints.

Courteous staff, spacious rooms, quiet location except for the train that passes by a few feet away buy just keep your windows closed and all is good, AC needs improving though, it runs once and stops for a loooooooong time and won't run again, have to use fan function but doesn't cool much off but still, will most likely stay there again in future.

The AC, it turns on once and that's it, it will take forever to cool off room, needs updating

Breakfast was not included. Tim Horton’s and Starbucks were a 10 minute walk to get breakfast. Acceptable for this price.

the window covering was a blind that didn’t block much light in the morning. Maybe they should provide an eye mask like on an airplane flight. The air conditioner was fairly loud.

It’s conveniently located, clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. Not cheap but reasonable for the location and appearance of the hotel.

Wish there were amenities like perhaps a continental breakfast. They could be a little more generous with their sundries and coffee supplies as well.

Everything was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. It was extremely affordable and well worth the price.

It’s sort of squished away in an odd area, and the lack of an elevator could cause issues if you have a room on the 2nd floor and a lot of stuff to bring in and out of your room.
