The proprietors really went out of their way to accommodate us. At first I had booked for the Monday night but once I realised they didn’t have a show at Funny Girls on Monday they allowed me to move the booking forward to Sunday night instead. One of my party is a vegan but I had forgotten to notify them ahead of time. They rushed out to the shops to make sure they had all the ingredients ready for a vegan breakfast the next morning. In the morning they called us a taxi to get down to the pleasure beach, and let us leave our bags there and gave us a key to come back and pick them up. This proved super useful as we got absolutely drenched on Valhalla and needed to change into dry clothes before we left for the car.

Alan & Dean we’re fantastic hosts, facilities in the room & bed etc was superb. Breakfast options was outstanding & the full English set us up for the day.. Had car trouble when we checked out & Alan & Dean helped us tremendously to get us going again..

Nothing to dislike..

Breakfast was superb and was served at 07.30 to enable me to catch a train at 08.54. Full English with toast, tea or coffee. Help yourself prior to that with fruit juice, cereals etc if you chose to.

All good, I’d stayed at 3 other properties close by recently and this one was the only one that offered breakfast. The room ( 9 ) was very small but perfectly adequate for my needs. TV, kettle, sink , ( shared bathroom), plug socket by the bed all working fine .

Alan & Dean were perfect hosts in The Garnett, situated just minutes away from the station and a short walk to the seafront. The breakfast was superb, as were the facilities in the hotel. A real gem, I was looked after from start to finish, they deserve every success, I will definitely return when I need accommodation in the North West.

The location was ideal...close enough to everything but far enough away to not hear any noise 😁...the hosts were really accommodating and made you feel really welcome and the breakfast was spot on!!

The weather wasn't great but nothing you can do about that...the only thing that I would change was the fact the bar wasn't open while we were there...this was midweek though so it might open at weekends...it wasn't a massive deal but it would have been nice to go back to the hotel and finish the night off with a drink there.

Central location, lovely owners (thanks guys), good communication, smooth booking and access, comfy bed, free earlier check-in (1pm, although I arrived later) and later than usual check-out (10.30am), digital TV and remote, tea and coffee facilities, nice and warm, budget price, breakfast included in the price, some extra personal touches (spoke with a lovely couple over breakfast, and they described it as a home from home), and I asked for an extra pillow and the request was sorted immediately...what's not to like for £34? Would have given 10/10, but no view from single room and toilet down the corridor; both of which can't be changed. I was a returning customer, and hope to return again the future.

2 mins from Station in Blackpools LGBTQ zone. Small B&B. Friendly people and reasonably presentable premises. I stayed in a single with shared toilet and shower facilities. Room was very clean with washbasin and clothing rail (no wardrobe). Decor was a little tired throughout with scuff marks on walls and doors. Bed v comfortable, interesting Duvet Cover. Nice robe supplied for shower and toilet visits. Blind was a bit mouldy but curtains blacked room out nicely. Small TV but not all stations working. Kettle and Tea making facilities very generous. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was very good! Excellent selection of cereals, fresh fruits, Yoghurt etc!! Full English well cooked and presented with good quality ingredients. Coffee in a Cafetiere. Toast was a bit dry and crispy. Not a 10 for me but considering the price Breakfast and location it deserves at least an 8 Brilliant for a short stay! Never saw Host's apart from Breakfast and Check in/out but that wasn't really a problem as I like the light touch. Would stay again if in Blackpool.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! On Arrival Of This Hotel We Was Greeted By The Owners Who We're Absolutely Amazing! So Friendly & Very Helpful! The Rooms Where Just What We Needed & Kept So Clean! Toilet & Shower Was Separately But To Be Honest Who Needs Them In There Room! Very Close To The Train Station & Great Location For Central Views! Close To Everything! Night Life Is Good! Plenty Of Places To Go! I Came Here With My 6 Year Old & He Absolutely Loved It! Breakfast Was Included With Our Breakfast & It Was Super Yummy! All You Could Want In One Hotel & The Service Is 5 Star All The Way! Thank You For Making This Experience One To Remember With My Little Man! Definitely Recommend All The Way!
