Most important factor was the staff for me, they were very helpful and always smiling.Especially Tony at the restaurant had always very nice and positive vibes which was perfect for starting the day.

When I made the reservation, there was only two hotels which had gym.So having a gym was a factor for me but unfortunately the working hours for the gym was terrible.You have to butcher your planned day to get a workout in.I understand the reservation system because the gym has very limited space but working from 9 am to 6 pm is terrible idea for summer vacation, I only had a chance to use it once.

Wow, Wow, Wow. This hotel is amazing. The staff couldn’t do enough for you especially Tony in the restaurant. From the moment we arrived we felt spoilt. They parked the car (we had to pay extra for parking), took the bags up to the room and even put champagne in our room when we mentioned it was our 25th wedding anniversary. Fantastic views from the balcony, restaurant and pool area. We dined in the hotel which was quite expensive and was fine dining. I ordered the mullet and 3 pieces of food came out, however they were the best 3 pieces of food I have ever eaten. My husband had a pasta dish which was a much bigger plate of food. Don’t let this out you off though as they was a bar area that served pizzas and paninis etc that still had a fantastic view and service but was more budget friendly. Woukd definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Nothing it was amazing

Gorgeous location. The Villa was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Staff was also very accommodating and treated us like VIPs. View, yard, hot tub, rooms, hotel, pool, all of it was excellent. The breakfast was also an A+. Tony was our server and so passionate and fun. He treated us like royalty. Our only let down was the price of the food and drinks at the hotel. One of the most expensive restaurants in the area if not the most expensive in all of our Italian travels. We ordered 1 “Hugo” Spritz and 1 Shirley Temple at the pool. $25 Euro for the cocktail and $18 Euro for the soda. That’s almost $50 US for 1 cocktail and 1 non-alcoholic beverage. Their pasta was also $35 - $40 Euro per plate. We traveled all over Italy and restaurant prices were consistently $16 Euro - $25 Euro for pasta and $8 - $18 for pizza. The pizza at the hotel restaurant was $25 - $30 Euro. Besides the restaurant pricing and the beds being a little too firm, everything else about the hotel was excellent and we would stay again, definitely.

Food and beverage prices. We wanted to spend more time at the Villa but didn’t want to spend 2x the price for food and beverage. We ended up shopping at the local grocery and also ordering pizza just down the street for $8 per pie, instead of $25 - $30

Tony at breakfast is an institution at the ER. He treats each and every guest like family and remembers everything you like...and some things you didn't know you liked until he brings it to your table. All of the staff were incredable. When you call for ice, it's at your door in 30 seconds. THe Steak restaurant was the best meal we had in Italy. The free olive oil tasting was fun and educational. Can't ask for a better location.

Everything was perfect

EVERYTHING!!! The hotel itself was absolutely amazing. Has been beautifully renovated, our room was very clean & spacious with a wonderful balcony overlooking Positano!! It had everything we needed at our fingertips. The staff were fantastic. Marcella, Pasquale & all the front desk staff were extremely welcoming, helpful & friendly. Tony & his staff in the breakfast room were phenomenal!!! Nothing was too much trouble for them. Tony was always very attentive & full of laughs!! Our dinner at Adam & Eve restaurant was divine & Carlo & his staff were again wonderful, as were the staff in Roc pizza & steak. All the food we had was of high standard & delicious.

Nothing…everything was perfect.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful; lots of variety among the fresh offerings and a friendly staff. Also, the views from the dining/breakfast area were magnificent! We loved our suite which was spacious and nicely decorated (Mediterranean chic) with a fabulous balcony view overlooking the notable Positano church and colored structures below.

Like most of the hotels with wonderful views there, guests should be prepared to walk uphill along with a number of stairs to get to the top. It was worth it though; less guilt for eating pasta and bread!

The view was amazing, staff was great, breakfast was nice also. Very clean nice hotel.

The air conditioner either was not working or was on a lock. The room was kind of hot and stuffy, one of the tv's did not work and there was some kind of electrical problem causing the lights to go on and off several times. Other than this, it was a nice experience. Some of the places close way too early so I think it would be better if the hotel had a late night bar open with food.

Breakfast, clean room, view is amazing

So gym close at 6 pm and you only can use 1 h per day max, because it’s small Swimming pool close at 6 which is strange, at 6 pm they start to remove sunbeds and ask you to leave Sussy suite is a very nice big room and clean, with huge bathroom and amazing view but it’s not inside hotel building , you have to cross the road.And its EXTREMELY noisy at night to sleep.Food in restaurant is very tasty Swimming pool is very noisy at day with kids

We’ve done a fair share of travel and Eden Roc is our favorite. The service, location, and overall ambiance are beyond! We stayed in a jacuzzi room and it was simply heaven. The views from the balcony were breathtaking and we were so relaxed that we got room service a few days for lunch — highly recommend! The pizza, salads and yes, CHEESEBURGER, were delicious. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was so outstanding we went again on our last night. I highly suggest the lobster pasta! We planned on visiting the Positano beach, but were so happy at the property that we lounged at the pool a few times. We practically had it to ourselves and kudos to Giuseppe for the fantastic spritzes! Finally, saving the best for last… was breakfast with Tony. I’m smiling as I write this — he and team truly deliver a top-tier breakfast with the best service we’ve had. We will be back!

I loved everything about this hotel. They went above and beyond to help us from the minute we arrived and continued to help us after checkout when we found out the road to Sorrento was closed due to fallen rocks. I would seriously never consider staying anywhere else in Positano, and would go as far to say their hospitality would make me stay in positano again as a base to visit towns I didn’t get to see this time like Amalfi and Ravello. I met a lot of return guests who stated that there has been little staff turnover and that they have built friendships with the staff—from the front desk to the wait staff. If you want to be treated like a family guest stay here. They will know how you take your coffee and what you prefer for their amazing breakfast by the second morning you’re there.

The only thing I don’t like about the property is that it’s far from home so I can’t come back for a long time.
