We absolutely loved our stay at Korean Sonata. The place is very nicely located and well-connected to all places central and even outside as it is very near Termini. We particularly think the owner was amazing; positive and most helpful. The refreshments and kitchen area is also very peaceful, best to relax while having a cup of tea and a snack after a long day of walking and exploring. To add, the room and property itself was always clean.

Nothing in particular, maybe just the pillows? However everyone has a different preference on that, so I actually understand this is not necessarily anything wrong or bad :)

koeran sonata is located between termini and santa maria maggiore, meaning in the very good location, within 15 minutes you can reach coloseum. Very clean room with bathroom and available tea and coffie in the joined kitchen. I could leave baggage until leaving without charge whitch is very usefull.

The Korean Sonata is an oasis from the bustling streets of Rome, especially the very busy ones close to the Roma Termini. The garden on the ground floor is a pleasant welcome on entry to the building. The lift or stairs to the first floor is unassuming, but open the front door to the Sonata and you enter a warm, comfortable property. Our double room (en-suite WC & shower) was spacious and immaculately clean. The room is simple but beautiful, with lovely stone floors and wood-paneled walls. We liked the communal kitchen which is well-kitted out, giving guests flexibility with their eating arrangements. The complimentary coffee, tea & snacks were welcome. Everything in both the guestroom and the kitchen worked well. Korean Sonata is situated conveniently close to Roma Termini with easy access to buses (including airport buses), trains and the metro. It's an ideal base for a holiday where you will be out most of the day visiting the sites of Rome. Although the Korean / Chinese staff didn't have much English (why should they?), they were very pleasant and as helpful as they could be.

Some reviewers have complained about the street noise at night or the dubiousness of the neighborhood. It's true that garbage trucks are active nearby in the very early morning but you can close the windows and shutters, and turn on the AC if you find the street noise disturbing. Although the neighborhood is home to a variety of immigrants (Bangladeshis predominate), we never felt threatened even later at night. People just went about their own business. I don't think this area is any more unsafe than other central areas of a big city. Just take the usual precautions.

Very friendly and quick responses from the property. The staff were very kind to facilitate an early checkin and store our bags aftercheckin free of charge and were very communicative to arrange. There are coffee/snacks and a kitchen area that you can use free of charge (minus hob) and this was an extra special extra touch. Staff couldnt have done more to help us have a smooth trip.

Area is quite far out to walk, but also very convenient to trainsation and like any big city area by trian station can feel a little unsafe late at night. Would very happily stay again, and the complex felt very safe itself but just to note the location if you are planning to arrive late at night for solo female travellers.

I traveled with my mom, and we really liked the proximity to Roma Termini station, the bus station, and the metro station. It's super convenient to get around. The hotel building is very nice and clean. The hotel is generally very quiet and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing coffee. The room is clean and spacious, as is the bathroom. Overall, we had a good stay and we recommend it.

This hotel has all you need for a short-term stay. Centrally located in walking distance to Termini, our hotel room had all the basic amenities one needs. Room was big enough for two, we also had a private bathroom. Our room was cleaned every day which is great. Towels and bedsheets were changed once during our five-day stay which is also very good. Owner was always responsive on WhatsApp.

Due to the location of the hotel, it can get quite noisy at times. Sound isolation does not seem to be a thing as we could hear the guests staying next door.

The location is close to both Termini Station and Metro's Vittorio Emanuele. Clean room, good bathroom with shower. The shared kitchen space was very clean and equipped with gas tables, microwave ovens, refrigerators, water server, electric kettle and coffee machine. We entered in the building by the code sent by message and received room key card prepared at the front desk inside of the property. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! Clean, great location and friendly staff. The price was good so I wasn’t expecting much and was really surprised. There are complimentary drinks and snacks in the kitchen. The owner was helpful and communication was easy and she was prompt to reply. The facilities were SUPER clean and cleaned daily. The location is within walking distance from Termini Station and landmarks if you enjoy walking. My Check in was really really late and it wasn’t an issue. Would definetely stay again!

The Korean Sonata is a great place to stay! The hotel itself is kind of like self-service, before we arrived I had received clear directions by text with photos and they were easy to follow and get into the hotel and our room, the hotel is extremely clean and tidy and the rooms are just as clean and presentable. Staff are not on site constantly, they come in each day in the morning to change the towels and clean the rooms which is always nice. The rooms are nothing much but they work just fine, the AC is a life saver and for just sleeping in the rooms each night, this is a perfect spot. The hotel itself is extremely close to Roma Termini and a short walk to the Colosseum so as locations go, and price this is a great spot. Around the hotel it’s not the cleanest or the quietest, however this does not affect the overall experience in my opinion and this is easily overlooked by the convenience of how close the hotel is to the sights. The owner is extremely helpful. She was happy to let us leave our bags in the hotel after checkout and this was extremely useful! Definitely recommend.

Korean Sonata is just one floor of an elegant old building near Termini Railway Station. It lies between two Metro stations - Termini and Vittorio Emmanuel. Even Repubblica is within easy walking - a common place for tour bus dropoff/pick up points. This is an international area with many different cultures and restaurants making a lively environment. There is a delightful garden courtyard as you enter, bringing cool and peace. The Sonata is surprisingly quiet, the room has everything required plus access to a well-stocked kitchen enabling self catering. A large underground supermarket is very close - on your way home from those arduous tours!

I liked everything but perhaps the signage is a little tricky to find at first. Helen quickly responded and guided me into the front door! She also gave brilliant travel advice. Thanks, Helen!
