Location next to Fenway Park, breakfast was good but not excellent, room was good and comfortable enough

Price: at $500 plus another $90 for parking the room tariff was nothing short of a rip-off. The same room for non-game days is about one third the price. The breakfast was an upgraded continental breakfast with muffins, yogurt and waffles but lacked any other hot items and had no fruit other than apples…not a $500 room type breakfast.

The record player in the room was unique. We enjoyed being able to go to the lobby grab more records and bring them without any issue back to the room. They had a great selection and although I didn't use the pool it looked great and was heated even in the winter.

Some of the records were scratched a bit which was kind of annoying but a lot of them weren't. Also the location is not quite in the middle of everything but its close enough to walk through the parks and such to get really into the city. Because it was cold we found it harder to want to walk 20-30 minutes into town. There's still good options nearby but a lot of the iconic stuff you'll find closer to the center.

Loved the vibe of the whole place. Any time there is a guitar available to play in the lobby, that is a plus :) The room was good, the staff was excellent, the food/bar in the connect restaurant was very good, and there were lots of little things that I appreciated: umbrellas available in lobby to use, poop bags for dogs there too, free water bottles, coffee available 24/7. The included breakfast had good options, including a smoothie which I loved. And its convenient location to Fenway and Backbay was key. Would definitely recommend and come back.

Small nit: the shower was nice, but sprayed quite a bit into the rest of the bathroom with the open door. Don't think its an issue of the open door, more the water pressure (which is strong and great, but perhaps too much with open door).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Verb hotel and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, their attention to detail was evident and truly remarkable. What stood out the most was how they went above and beyond to take care of my son. The staff at the Verb hotel made sure that all his needs were met and even anticipated some that we hadn't thought of. It was heartwarming to see the genuine care and dedication they showed towards him. I would like to give a special thanks to Carly Williams, who is clearly a current and future star in the industry. Carly's professionalism, warmth, and genuine concern for our comfort made our stay even more memorable. She went out of her way to ensure that every little detail was taken care of, making us feel like valued guests. The Verb hotel truly understands the importance of providing exceptional service and creating a memorable experience for their guests. From the beautifully decorated rooms to the delicious dining options, every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully curated. I highly recommend the Verb hotel to anyone looking for a truly memorable and delightful stay. Their attention to detail, exceptional service, and the outstanding efforts of staff like Carly Williams make it a standout choice. ⭐️

The structure is beautiful. New, modern, with a unique style. It is beautiful to have a gramophone in the rooms on which to put a 45 rpm. It is also very nice to be able to stay in the outdoor pool area to sunbathe on the deckchairs and relax. The rooms are huge, with huge and super comfortable beds. The bathroom is very nice. And the services such as free drinking water are the best. Breakfast is also very much appreciated. Very courteous and helpful staff.

Not very close to the main attractions. Few transport links. The hotel might consider providing a shuttle or bicycles for the guests

Welcoming staff. Very nice breakfast setup which I didn't even know was included, but it was. Valet parking was easy and quick at both drop off and pickup. Some very nice touches such as free self serve water bottles in lobby, self serve LP classic records in lobby to bring back to your room which as a record player, within throwing distance of Fenway Park (ballpark view room allowed live enjoyment of roaring crowds and Sweet Caroline), nice pool and garden area with plenty of sunny morning seating, breakfast staff served you at the counter, made omelettes, waffles and smoothies for you, nice breakfast seating area inside and out, upstairs pool facing rooms have small balconies. Some have large balconies that get mid morning sun. Although it has a cool classic rock vibe with its decor and ammenities, there was never any loud music playing anywhere. A human always answers the phone. Had the best of both small and larger hotel benefits. Comfy bedding. Nice that you could partially open the window if you wanted and air conditioning worked well. There are classic campers on the grounds to book instead of a room. That was interesting to see.

Room was small. Some surfaces (shelves, dresser) weren't sparkling clean. Fridge had a high pitched hum until I turned the temp down to stop it. No outlet in bathroom so needed to move cofee maker over and plug hairdryer in outside bathroom. Very dark, not much lighting. Outlet on desk did not work so phone did not charge overnight. Open shower (no door or liner) allows bathroom floor to get very wet. Slight mildew smell in bathroom. We stayed two nights, leaving the room very early the first morning and coming back mid afternoon to find the room had not been cleaned. We asked for a late checkout but were told we had to show up at 7 am at front desk to be put on the list. FCFS late checkout. Got there at 7 am and was given just a half hour extension. Not really worth getting up early for.

MacKenzie and Alex made my birthday stay at The Verb unforgettable. They clearly love helping people celebrate—my name went up on the marquee, and I was officially crowned their “Rock Star of the Day.” I even got to sign a guitar for their permanent collection (yes, seriously!). Their energy, kindness, and enthusiasm were phenomenal. They made me feel truly seen and celebrated. If you’re looking for a place where people go the extra mile just because they love what they do, this is it. You won’t be in pursuit of joy here—you’ll find it, right there in your backstage room, spinning vinyl and gazing out at Fenway Park, the heated pool (yes, even when it’s chilly!), or one of the nearby restaurants.

Location is excellent and only real full service hotel near Fenway park. The valet parking is very convenient and worth the extra money. Staff are very friendly and professional and there was always sufficient staff on hand day and night. The restaurant is nice but I was surprised to see that they closed at 9pm. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean.

Breakfast set up is not great. It gets too crowded in the space they have allocated. It's a bit weird to have to get full service for a boiled egg or bagel so it takes too long. The hotel is a bit of a maze to get around.

The decor was retro rock ‘n’ roll, and it was so cool! Each room had a turntable and you had hundreds of vinyl records that you could choose from in the lobby to bring back to your room. The staff were phenomenal. Jake was extremely helpful. The restaurants were awesome with a delicious burger. The free breakfastwas more than your norm. The croissants were amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel and it will be my go to place when in Boston.

Parking was a little pricey at $70, but it was safe and easily accessible. Probably on fire with what you’re going to pay in the city anyway.

I rarely write reviews for hotels, but my stay at Verb Hotel in Boston definitely deserves one. This was my first trip to the U.S., and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. THE VERB HOTEL EXCEDEED ALL MY EXPECTATIONS — from the wonderful atmosphere to the amazing staff and delicious breakfast. The rock’n’roll theme with vinyl records in every room made it even more special. The perfect choice for anyone visiting Boston! I really miss you guys there. Greetings from Ireland!
