It was perfect for our needs. Very comfortable, centrally located, very short walking distance to the bus stops (short enough to easily walk in ski boots), has a large secure locker/ drying room for ski gear and a luggage storage room for check out/check in days. The bar and lounge were charming, we only had the breakfast buffet once but the food was delicious. The top floor spa was GLORIOUS. Eucalyptus steam room, comfy lounge area and the sauna with a view of the town were my favourites. Most importantly the staff were very friendly, kind and made our stay enjoyable.

The perfect place to stay in Chamonix. Its location is across the street from the Tourist Office and everything else is also within walking distance. A nice large room with a view of the mountains. The pool is small but a very welcome perk with a fabulous view.

The hotel was initially very hard to find, as the navigation sent us into a parking lot (which was full and therefore closed). We had to call the reception and get instructions for opening a gate next to the church. The pool may be hard to get into, if you have a slight handicap. The same for the shower (it’s a tub with very high walls). Both parking and breakfast are expensive.

Location was superb. Spa facilities were great. Wonderful views. Would have liked a bar/restaurant service at the spa as advertised.

After asking around it seems that the town is very bust during summer when we were there. Would have loved an aircon in the room as it was exceptionally hot in the room with fully carpeted floors and a mini bar that isn't very cold.

Good breakfast, although the same every morning, we always found something to eat. The rooftop spa was great. The location is close to the center. Everything we needed.

There was no spa towel. The staff showed no courtesy when you walk past the reception, they don't even look up to greet you either in the morning or when you come back from the city. You feel a bit like an intruder.

someone jumped at my room’s balcony at midnight. he or they spent some time there. and after i had turned on lights they escape. nobody call or inform me. at the morning my door knocked by gendarmerie without any information from reception. they asked me question about last night like did you heard the noise? can you recognize them etc. . i helped them as far as i know. but the strange thing is nobody from the hotel side, explained nothing and didn’t say sorry , no info , no apology.

The room was lovely, some lovely Alpine touches everywhere. The spa was also a really great addition - always clean and very helpful staff. The male English-speaking staff member at the spa was extremely helpful and very friendly - he really made our stay. The view from our bedroom over the mountains were stunning, and the hotel was ideally located (1 minute from the centre of town). It was a perfect jumping off point for our mountain hikes and exploring Chamonix itself

The hairdryer in the bathroom wasn't great - not powerful and became too hot to hold.

Great location right in the middle of town Lovely spa / pool etc on the roof with great views. Very friendly staff and a good if expensive breakfast. Could park the car ( 30 euros per night ) in the secure parking garage under the hotel which was a great bonus

Nothing at all other than I think some very clear directions to the hotel should be available. Chamonix now has several “pedestrian only” areas and the hotel is in one of these. It took us quite a while to find it and only after we phoned the hotel reception ( who were very helpful)

View of Mont Blanc from fab little roof top pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Shower with excellent hot water flow in my room. Clean bed linen. Morning receptionist is excellent, maybe she is Indian, she understood customer communication and customer service perfectly. Impressive. Highly professional. CNN and BBC news in room.

Below par evening bar experience…I was looking forward to a drink at the bar as I arrived at 9:30pm. Most strange for a 4 star hotel. No food in hotel at 9:30pm just takeout delivery to reception which was disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Please don’t tuck the sides of bed in such a way that when trying to access the bed all the bed linen comes apart…it should be easier to access the bed and get into the bed.

Staff very helpful, rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable, and hotel is located very centrally. Lots of restaurants and stores around. Spa access and facilities are great. Ask for Ali... he is very customer centric and will take care of you!

Breakfast was decent... nothing special but certainly more than sufficient. Would be great to have some made-to-order options but understandably that requires a different level of capability.

The location was central. Spacious room with good soundproof. Spa was excellent with heated pools and a variety of saunas. Breakfast a bit pricey but tasty. Free toiletries and coffee.

Toilet had no water basin - it was situated inconveniently in the shower room. Ground floor with the gym/ski room seemed to have a problem with mould. The view from the window was a plastic cow. Staff was good except from the man handling the reception desk during check out. Rude and unwelcoming attitude - certainly not something that should be tolerated in a 4 star hotel.
