I loved the whole experience from when I messaged reservations to let them know that I would be arriving late thursday night, the response was quick and efficient and very helpful, loved the whole experience from check in till I left this morning 😄 The photos on the website matched exactly that in real life, I have stayed in alot of motels and hotels on the shore and this one is by far the best 👌👌👌 clean and immaculate, I will be back in the near future when I need to stay in Akl again, it was so comfy that I was actually considering booking another night to stay lol but no i had to come home, but will be back soon!

Comfortable beds, great parking, lovely staff especially the young lady on the reception, great location and very clean

It is inconvenient not to be able to have two keys when we have booked a 2 bedroom and there are 3 adults staying. Very tricky to come and go. Also not your fault but the pub next door had a outdoor event with a band playing late into the night. What about heavily penalising the people who do not return a key or charging a bond to cover change of locks and then you will not be penalising the new patrons.

Close vicinity to the westfield mall and shops for central needs. Albany restaurant served ciuoly good steaks and a must was the Chilli mussels. Loved the Fresh forest walks and just the fresh ness of the Bush outside, added a therapeutic feeling. Being able to also have family and friends mingle together. Good whanaungatanga. Good massage place 5 mins walk to the right after the bridge. Photo downloaded

Although i maintained a clean room, hang your card out on the door for cleaning and top up.

The hotel exceeded my expectations - it's a self-contained hotel unit/apartment that is spacious and has a fully functioning kitchen. The bonus was the cleaning staff who came every day & cleaned the kitchen and bathroom thoroughly. Also, the view from my hotel room was a forest, which was exactly what I needed - and there was a trail behind the hotel leading to a waterfall. It was serene and beautiful.

I couldn't figure out the fan/ac...it was either too hot or too cold. You need a car to get around.

Welcoming staff and clean facilities. The washer dryer was extremely handy, enabling a fresh supply of clothes for our ongoing journey exploring New Zealand. A request for an airer was quickly met, and the addition of a non-slip shower rmat was provided on request. Thanks to both the reception and housekeeping team for making our stay a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The air-conditioning in the lounge and bedroom was very welcome on those very warm and humid days. We hope to stay with them again on our return visit.

I had one of the rooms overlooking the forest, which I highly recommend, so will only comment on that experience which was excellent. The trail nearby is awesome and runs by the river, and overall the parking, property, and location are great!

I had a problem the first night with my first room which had a strong cleaning/chemical smell, so they moved me to another room the following night, which was great. Also, the pillows were all soft, with no option for more firm ones. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful.

Quite, had all the facilities we need for our stay, cooking, washer dryer and maid service (house keeping). All staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. There were amenities near buy, pub, restaurant and small shop. Bus service outside building bus at least every 30 min.

There was a musty smell in the room, had to get an air freshener, the wood floor had a sticky feel to it. Both issues were minor though.

Veronica and Milly on reception and the housekeeping staff were fantastic, so helpful and accommodating. We ended up having two stays in the same week! First stay we had a 1 bd "study" apartment which was facing the pub side and really quite large as it had a separate area with a desk. The second stay we had a 1 bd forest apartment which was a little smaller, really cozy but had a slightly larger bathroom and walk in closet. Both were great, nice and quiet with everything we needed.

Only thing missing was a full length mirror, that would be a great addition.

It was beautiful, inside and out, really liked the open indoor courtyard, the quality of the furniture and the amenities, the two sliding doors between the bedroom and the lounge to the same deck was awesome. The beautiful scenery of the north island bush, hearing the running water of the creek, wild birds like morepork and crickets all from the balcony was very soothing and calming.

There was only four sachets of sugar, you could feel the nails from the carpet joinery by the bedroom door, and no deck chairs to enjoy the beautiful scenery and ambiance. It would've added to the homely vibes.

It was very quiet and very secure. It actually has good soundproofing ‘cause I checked in with a huge family (with children) for the long weekend and I didn’t hear a thing from them/their wing of the apartments.

The only thing I disliked was the baggage cart’s wheels. I LOVE the fact that you had baggage carts!!!! But just that their wheels made them pretty difficult to maneuver. Otherwise, I love it all hahaha
