The view from my ground floor room. The caring staff was the best part!

I brought my little dog with me. We travel together, almost everywhere. There is a charge per day for my Molly, which is hard to understand because they don’t clean every day. My Molly does not shed, she has hair like you and I. If they were going to clean every day, then the charge would be reasonable. But if they’re only going to clean after you leave, it seems to me, there shouldn’t be a charge, except for that one of any extra cleaning. That charge per day alone, definitely limits how many nights I can afford to stay.

While it is a bit rundown, the place was VERY clean, like I wiped it down and the cloth was still clean kind of clean! The carpets were clean too, quite a feat at a sandy beach hotel. The bed was comfortable, I was surprised at how roomy the mini-fridge was, the pool was a great temperature, and the VIEW WOW! It's in a great location just off the main highway but far enough away you don't hear traffic. The beach was fairly private and I didn't hear any other guests despite it being booked up.

Access to the immediate beach is tough with 100+ steep stairs, difficult for small children and anyone with mobility issues. However it only takes 3-5 minutes to drive to very accessible parts of the beach so this wasn't an issue. It was partially a positive too because it kept the noise by our hotel very low! A broom or outside spigot to rinse off sand would be appreciated. The hotel is quite old and in the process of being renovated. Some fresh paint and updated appliances will do wonders, but it was clean, comfortable, and met our needs perfectly. I'm looking forward to returning again and seeing how it's improved!

The view was great and it had a balcony. Room was good size with a big mirror in the living space. The bed was comfortable, overall homey Room. Amber at the front desk was great!

The beach access had a lot of steps. Had to drive to a easier access.

There was no breakfast. The location was great.

The floor needs some updating. We kept forgetting to ask, but an extra blanket would have been nice. Also, an investment in new towels would probably be good too. They were very generous with the towels.

The veiw and how close to the beach it is. Pool. Convenient , close to the car repair shop. Since are truck broke down on the way over.

The sheets had yellow spots on the comforter. The wooden steps need replacement. Especially the second to last step on the top stair case.

Everything was perfect. It couldn't have been better in anyway. Even the weather was great.I am 70 years old and this was my first vacation by myself. I loved my view and I felt perfectly safe. My room made me feel very content.

For my time not to end. The door code was a bit hard for me, but the staff was kind enough to help. I found the stairs a little difficult with my luggage, but I did manage. The walk to the beach was hard as well.

Nice people. Much older building but well maintained. Had a tv remote issue and a refrigerator issuse that were working out quickly.

The staff was wonderful from the start. Amazing view and location. The new owner was a super nice lady and she has so many plans for the place and I can'twait to see on our next visit. We will always stay here when visiting. It has a warm welcoming vibe. Family friendly! Thanks for the great stay!

There could be a couple updates in the rooms and bathrooms, it sounds like the new owners have lots of things planned and have already started. For the price it was great!

That it was affordable and oceanfront.

The pool area was dangerous. Told the reception about the cover flipping off the pool area. The older lady acted like she has heard it before but refused to do anything. The other staff was great, but this one older lady was awful. My son fell in the hole in the pool house, we asked for orange cones to put up around it and she refused and said it won't change anything. Angry that my son could have been hurt over anything.

Reasonably priced especially for being right on the beach. Beach access was almost in the parking lot down a few flights of stairs. There was also a hot tub and pool. The hot tub looked out towards the beach and was separated from the pool in an open ceiling area. Absolutely loved this place and would stay again

I didn’t dislike anything.
