The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were awesome and so very kind. Lynn qnd Ruth in the restaurant are FANTSASTIC and they run a very tight ship and nothing is too much trouble for them. GIVE THEM A RAISE!!! 👏 They are profound asset to your establishment and were just brilliant to everyone as whilst I was eating I was watching how hard they work. Simply Brilliant!! 10/10 from me. The swimming pool is fantastic and not too busy 😀. Just wonderful from start to finish!! Thankyou all xxxxxxx

Only thing was the rooms are too hot 🔥 but that is the only thing, everything else is perfect 👌

Attended for a wedding . Staff was welcoming on arrival & the room was very clean with complimentary gifts The bar & grill was exceptionally good with my two allergies. They went through the menu with me and they have an excellent procedure for all staff to follow whilst preparing your food . The best place I have eaten in the 4 years of my allergies

breakfast time was absolutely manic . There was not enough staff for the amount of guest meaning wait times for even a hot drink was extremely high whilst waiting for tables to be cleared .this may have been due to the wedding we attended but in our opinion should have been taken into account.

We were only staying at the hotel 1 night . Check-in was easy and the staff very pleasant . We also prepaid for dinner and then breakfast for 2 . The room was clean and tea/ coffee machine well stocked. Like the jelly baby sweets and water bottle - nice touch . Restaurant very busy and service little stretched at times but staff very helpful . Our meals were very tasty and actually good value for the money . Didn’t have time to enjoy the sports and spa facilities this time .

The restaurant had a musician / singer but I would say it was a little too loud as you couldn’t really have a conversation as you couldn’t be heard . Background music was less noisy .

Just a few hours after arriving at the hotel, my partner went into labour. In a situation that could’ve felt chaotic and overwhelming, the kindness, care, and professionalism of the team—especially Lynne, the night manager—shone through. Lynne was there for us that night, offering calm, genuine support in a moment we’ll never forget. The next morning, after the safe (and slightly early!) arrival of our beautiful daughter Ember Raye Thomson (5.5lb), I returned to the hotel for breakfast, completely exhausted but overjoyed. Lynne greeted me like family. Her warmth, joy, and the heartfelt hug she gave me when I showed her a photo of our baby girl is something I’ll never forget. It wasn’t just customer service—it was human connection at its most beautiful. Because Ember needed to stay in hospital a little longer for routine checks, we had to remain in the area unexpectedly. Lynne, in her extraordinary kindness, told me that since we hadn’t stayed the night, we could keep the room free of charge for another night. This allowed me to finally get some rest after being awake for nearly two days—and it made our decision to stay at the hotel for the remainder of our time in the Wirral so easy. She didn’t have to offer that. I didn’t ask. But it meant the world. Her compassion and generosity made a stressful situation feel manageable—and even comforting. To Lynne and all the staff at Village Hotel Wirral: thank you. You are truly inspirational, and we will always remember the part you played in our daughter’s arrival. This hotel was a wonderful place to stay for my Sister in laws wedding this week end. We travelled from Ireland and stayed 2 nights. Staff were so lovely. The pool was huge and really spacious relaxing area. Rooms were modern and the wedding reception and food, staff and service were fantastic. There were a great selection of Mocktails too as I don't drink, the food selection was really good and the buffet breakfast was delicious. Lovely outdoor seating too and a much bigger hotel than I had thought it would be. X

Couldn't complain about any of it.

The facilities, we spent most of our time outside in the sun with a coffee or a beer. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, really went out of their way to help. Loved the interior and exterior of the hotel. Starbucks was a huge bonus and the bar.

Bedrooms are very basic, with how lovely and modern it was everywhere else, the rooms should reflect that. The rooms needed a little refresh to meet the standards of everywhere else. Our room faced the car park, which had the sun first thing in the morning, the rooms got very very warm.

We highly commend the lady named Mary at the Reception. She warmly welcomed us and gave that initial impression with great regard. She is the best definition of what hospitality is. The ladies at the gym/pool reception were also wonderful. In fact all of the staff up to the pub have been so nice and made our stay extra wonderful. Our room is lovely and so comfortable that we all slept like a log. Pool area and its temperature is perfect. Loved the fact there is a lifeguard on duty. Our kids enjoyed their time in this property.

Nothing really, but would be great if you'd put a couple of bottled water and shampoo in the room. But it is not a deal breaker.

All wa s great but only issue was the too much heat in the rooms yet the fans were not working. I would have rated it as excellent, but kindly work on the fans especially in this hot summer, I am looking forward to coming back and stay there in the future as you believe you will work upon it. The staff were so friendly, the breakfast was amazing, the location is s amazing, the quitness was top notch, hygiene was great and interior is just wooow

The heat in the rooms was the only issue

Reasonably priced property, on the outside of the city, breakfast was very good, staff helpful and friendly, free parking over the weekends, only a short drive through the tunnel to the city centre American style diner didn’t eat there but the food looked great, we also didn’t pay for the leisure facilities but they looked really good

No air conditioning, but there was a fan provided but not adequate on a hot stuffy evening especially when the windows are on a safety catch

Plenty of parking, hotel was great, great facilities friendly staff, bonus of access to gym and pool. The restaurant within was busy as was the actual hotel which added to the atmosphere

The plugs didn’t seem to provide a charge to phone and watch, this could also be due to the high power charger I had. We upgraded to breakfast at £50 for 2 people for 2 days and I would say the breakfast was not worth that much, I would price at £7 max each based on the display.
