All hotel rooms in central Liverpool were booked as Real Madrid were playing Liverpool. We found this on Booking.Com. It is 10 mins walk to Sefton Park with its glorious Palm House and just 15 mins to Lark Lane which is a Victorian area, now full of restaurants and bars. Our accommodation was a massive attic bedroom in an annexe in the next street from the hotel. There was free on street parking. we could have used the bar in the hotel but we didn't have time. Our room had a fridge and kettle and there was a kitchen on the floor below. the price was exceptionally good value and we will probably go there again.

Room was very big, beds comfortable. Bathroom good. Although tired and dated +bedside light not working, it was very clean and welcoming. Staff at main hotel and collection point for 'keys', extremely helpful and pleasant. Had to leave a £50 deposit fully refundable providing room left as found. No problem, but had not been made aware! Something to note! Great you could come and go as you pleased with absolutely no restrictions. Use like your own home. Would definitely stay here again.

Different to what we are used to as regards checking in, but once you know and understand what the requirements are, it was perfectly fine.

Very clean, not too far from the city centre. Very reasonably priced compared to the other properties in the area. Comfy bed and check-in easy. Plenty of complimentary tea/coffee. Plenty of free on-street parking. Would definitely stay again

No temperature control in the room apart from a desk fan. Not a problem for our stay in the summer but could see it being very cold in winter

Easy check in and out. Ample free parking. Very clean. Comfy bed. Good qualiry linen and towels. Hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities were useful. Perfect location for us, close to sons Uni flat so will definitely be back. Lots of things to do and see close by. Sefton park a lovely walk, and the Albert pub gave us a warm welcome for the rugby World Cup games.

Dated decor and quite basic. Shower barely a trickle and took ages to warm up, impossible to wash my long hair (won't put me off, will just take dry shampoo next time). Few minor damages in the room but I messaged them when we arrived so we weren't blamed/charged.

It was under renovated, and my rooms were upgraded to other beech mount groups. The lady at the front desk is very helpful and polite. The hotel has private parking. I will come back again ... thank you

Nice little room with en suite bathroom in a large Victorian home full of character. Check-in at the affiliated hotel was quick and easy with a friendly receptionist. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and I liked the quiet street with lush garden views. Would stay here again.

The place was a bit dated, but it was nice as this gave it character. The staff were incredibly helpful. They were on hand to handle queries. Nothing was too much trouble. I would stay here again.

You do have to check in at another hotel, but it is only round the corner.

Great location for our needs. Staff were very helpful, especially Virginia who checked me in and assisted at the bar there :)

The staff were very friendly and helped us when we needed them, we came for a concert and the rooms weren’t ready when we arrived so they allowed us to get ready in the bathrooms and kept our luggage safe when we came back in the evening the lock on our door was broken and they gave us drinks on the house while they sorted our room out and they were very friendly and kept us updated
