This hotel is beautiful. Staff were amazing and the decor of the hotel is just stunning. We ate in the restaurant on our second night and the food was incredible. Terrace is incredible with views of lake Luzern and lovely cocktails. We were celebrating our anniversary and we got a small box of chocolates which was a lovely treat. It is up a steep hill but theres a free cable car that runs all the time so no issue! Bathroom facilities with hairdryer also amazing.

No gym but not a major issue, we just like to keep fit! Expensive for 2 nights but that's Switzerland in general I think, not a reflection of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel, comfortable stay.

it's on top of the hill so a bit inconvenient to get to from train station. We took an Uber there, cost 14 chf each way. Hotel doesn't provide a shuttle to/from train station. there's a cable car to the bottom which we took once. Our room was ready a few minutes after 3pm, despite requesting early check-in. Nothing we can do about that as 3pm is the check in. We ate dinner at La Scala which was very good, very pricey but nice.

The views are stunning and waking up every morning to a lakeside view is the perfect way to start your day. The staff were amazing. Levent and the bar staff are the best in class. Breakfast was the best I had in Switzerland and Luzern. The cleaning crews stopped by several times a day, and with pillow service which is a throwback to the old glamorous classic hotels.

Hotel is wonderful. It is at the edge of the center of town, about a half mile to Chapel Bridge. The hotel does have a funicular right by the Mandarin so all your walking can be flat to avoid the incline. Personally, I liked being out of the heart of the tourist district a bit and nice to walk off dinner. I would also pre book an Uber or taxi the day before if you are taking the train in the morning to leave.

When we checked in, Lyn showed us to our room on the 5th floor. We stay at ADM during our last week of our vacation to Europe. Therefore I spurged on the room. The room Lyn showed us was not the room I had requested when I made my reservation back in Aug. Lyn was amazing and quickly turned the rooms around so that we had the room I had wanted. We were very pleased and enjoyed the hot tub and the views for our 6 night stay.

We loved how warm, friendly and helpful the staff were. In particular the gentleman in charge of the breakfast restaurant was lovely, as was his female colleague with long dark hair. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they made us feel special everyday. The lady who cleaned our room was VERY nice, and all the hotel receptionists were incredibly helpful and friendly. In particular, one younger male receptionist so kindly brought us warm milk one evening when we wanted coffee in our room. A wonderful hotel, where I've stayed before and would definitely return.

Nothing could possibly have improved our experience.

Almost everything. Decor was elegant and modern. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, allowed us late checkout and sent up amenities very fast. Room with balcony had amazing view. The funicular was also very convenient since the hotel is a bit up the hill. It actually very nice because the view is better higher up. Bathroom was very well equipped even with a nice hairdryer.

The beds could not separate very much apart, but it’s wasn’t a big issue. Also there was no conditioner, but I brought my own.

The Montana is a beautiful hotel in a good location, accessible to Old Town by bus or walking if you like to walk but could be a little far for non walkers who can then use bus or taxi. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We loved the funicular to reach the Main Street and bus line. We loved the views and our room on second floor was roomy. The Scala restaurant bar on site was very good.

Our bathroom, although roomy had a tub in middle of the room which made for an awkward walking path to the toilet. However, if you like taking baths had a beautiful view out the window.

Location was perfect with such amazing views. There’s a funicular from street level right to hotel lobby so no steps or steep inclines. Staff are fantastic. It’s a lovely 10-15min stroll along waterfront to the boats, bridge and old town.

Could have had more outdoor seating for drinks. Even though the weather was nice, the outdoor area was covered up and closed for most of our visit.

The view was stunning but I was above a terrace so the noise was there in the evenings unfortunately

When I arrived I told the staff I didn’t feel very well. They assisted with location of pharmacy. I never got a a call later or the next morning to see how I was, in fact I saw the same woman when I left my key the next day and she said nothing. Would have been nice.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic.... The staff at this hotel knows exactly how to satisfy a traveling customer.

The rooms are cleaned twice a day. The staff that cleans does a absolute perfect job every time. They tend to never touch your personal items and leave them where they are. I was extremely happy with my stay.
