I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is incredibly strategic, just a short walk from the station, which made getting around the city very convenient. The amenities provided were complete and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable experience. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking for both convenience and comfort

The hotel is generally nice, and they provide breakfast starting at 6:30 AM. However, I had to catch an early train to Hakuba at 5:56 AM, so I couldn't take advantage of it. It would be great if they could offer a simple option, like bread or pastries, for guests who leave early between 5 AM and 6:30 AM. This small gesture would make the stay even more convenient for travelers with early departures.

The property is centrally-located, with good amenities, healthy breakfast offerings, comfortable bed and good heating.

My own fault, because I did not realise I booked for a smoking room. Obviously, for a non-smoker, the room smell is something I'm not comfortable with. I requested to change rooms but unfortunately the property was fully booked when we stayed.

The location was great, walking distance to the castle, station, and Nawate shopping street. There is a JP post across the road, convenient because I needed to use the ATM. The room was convenient and comfortable with coat hangers, a mini fridge, desk, kettle with cups, and towels. The breakfast buffet was copious and delicious, with many options like tamagoyaki, bacon, croissants, pickles, rice, soup, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, and mochi.

My only complaint is that there are single use plastic items at breakfast with no reusable alternative e.g. no coffee cups, only styrofoam.

Close to the Matsumoto Station (~8-10min walk). And it’s also very close by the Matsumoto Castle. Check-In is through a machine, where you have to scan your passport and fill out a form. Receptionist will help you if needed. For check-out I only had to insert the room key card back into the machine. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast is free and is from 6-9.30am. Free coffee is until 10am. Breakfast is Japanese style with rice, grilled mackerels, seaweed soup, salad, etc. But there were also butter croissants available. You can either eat in the lobby and take it as takeout with you to your room.

Good location - 5ish min walk to the station. Two convenience stores were close by (1min to Familymart and 3min to 7/11) Good room size - there was a little table and two chairs and if you move them to aside, there’s a space to open two big suitcases. Also enough space under the bed to keep the opened suitcases which was a bonus!

Breakfast - it was included in the price so can’t really complain but very limited selection. We stayed here for 4nights and we only had it on our first day as it was kinda disappointing.

The beds in all our hotels were firm, but in this hotel they were rock-hard. I had to fold the duvet in half and sleep on half of it with the rest folded over me, just to have some cushioning.

All staff we encountered were very pleasant. Daily parking rates were reasonable. Convenient to downtown and the castle. Breakfast was good too.

I wish it had an onsen or sento bath.
