1 - breakfast was decent. we liked having to option to order additional freshly made dishes 2 - the balcony was spectacular. great view and lots of space; sitting in the balcony for a break in the afternoon was relaxing. 3 - the water in the shower was very strong and the water temperature was good. the shower was actually one of the most comfortable we had among the ten hotels that we stayed at in our Latin American trip. 4 - it was also one of the few hotels that provided bathrobes 5 - we had a junior suite and the room was spacious, even had an individual closet area 6 - TV had a good selection of programs, even had CNN

The WIFI was not good and completely not existent in the balcony area.

A good place for doing Machu Picchu Park from Aguas Calientes because you're only a few blocks from the bus pickup spot. The restaurant is good, for breakfast and other meals, and the rooms are comfortable. The staff is particularly nice and helpful. We did a morning visit to the park and got caught in some rain. On our return to pick up our luggage, they let us use a spare shower (probably available for staff) to clean up and put on dry clothes, for no extra charge. That was much appreciated!

Nothing really. You don't really have much choice in lodging in Aguas Calientes and, as far as we could tell, this is one of the better places.

Great location for the bus/train station to Machu Picchu, about a 5 min walk from both. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, hot water for tea always available.

The room felt a bit damp and wished we’d opened the window to let some air in. We were told to leave the windows shut because of the mosquitos but that seemed to cause condensation. We didn’t see any mozzies either. Easily sorted by opening the window though.

This was the best hotel ever! They sent an whatsapp message asking my train time in order to have someone from the hotel there waiting to carry our luggage. Our bedroom was exactly as the photos showed and with an amazing view to the river! The shower had a good pressure and had hot water. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fruits, bread, jam, juices, yogurt, coffee etc. The hotel is well located and it's close to the bus stop that take you to Machu Picchu. They have a great restaurant and there were always coca and muña teas available at the reception or they offered to take up to our room as well. The hotel provided towels for free to be used at the thermal waters. The surroundings are safe and you can walk on the streets at any time. As we visited Machu Picchu in the morning, we checked out and left our luggages in the hotel. They kindly had someone from the hotel at the train station with our luggages so we didn't need to go back there only to take them. The best service ever!

Nothing.

The bellboy from the hotel picked our luggage up from the train and took us to the hotel. We stayed at the top floor and and a huge balcony overlooking the mountains of Machu Picchu. The room was also huge, with a fridge and some complimentary drinks (on the house!). Very thoughtfull, because that is what u want when u arrive at a hotel, instead of looking for convenience stores to look for water etc. The breakfast was also very good, with lots of options. We stayed in several hotels during our trip in Perú, but this hotel was by far the best. Everything was just more than we expected.

I can't think of anything.

The location of the property is perfect with an amazing view and very spacious and comfy rooms. The room has all necessary facilities and the breakfast was decent.

I had used my credit card to secure booking of the property and when i got there i was told they would not take the money from my credit card and had to pay upon check in. Funnily enough when i tried to complete the payment with my credit card they told me they don't accept amex and i had to use a different card. 3 days later i got a charge on my amex from a double payment of the property. It's been one week now that i've contacted the property and i asked them to review the double charge and they have not even gotten back to me, or booking to be fair. It's very disappointing because everything apart from this about my stay was great. I hope they sort it out and other customers don't have the same issue.

Staff were excellent. Edgar/Carmen/Deitmaar in particular! Edgar made us feel welcome by sending a message on Whats App. Made us feel special and NO other hotel personalizes such a thing before arriving into a new country/location. Including greeting us at the train station! Big positive differentiator. Top class.

- Wifi coverage in bedroom was weak. Needs boosting. - Breakfast needs improving but the 10am check-out was very early. 12pm maybe more helpful for those checking out.

Charming small hotel just off the main street—perfectly located within walking distance to both the train station and the bus to Machu Picchu. We had a beautiful view of the river running through town, and the staff was warm and welcoming. Loved the thoughtful touches like the lemon water and refillable water station in the lobby.

The hotel staff met us at the train station and guided us to the hotel. And when we left from Agua Caliente, they delivered our luggage to the train station. The view of the valley from the hotel room was fantastic. The hotel lobby, corridors, vertical circulation and other interior facilities were beautiful. It is a unique hotel that's in harmony with the impression of Machu Picchu.

Hope the hotel breakfast menu should be considered more variety.

The location is great, further from the train tracks unlike many hotels. The view is just wonderful. The breakfast is very good!

The dampness is something you have to get used to while in Machu Picchu. The hotel is just by the river also, so that adds to it. The smell is not very pleasant in the rooms and the hotel, but it is how it is, you get used to it after a while.
