We arrived late but were provided with details around transport from the airport along with a video to show where we needed to walk including how we could check in late. The room was lovely and the bathroom a good size too. The following morning our breakfast arrived in our room at the requested time and was very good. Fresh and more than enough to start the day. Our host was very friendly and provided lots of information and recommendations for places to go, how to travel around, where to eat etc. to plan our days. He was very friendly and helpful and we had a good chat every morning. The room was cleaned well every day too. When we left we were able to leave our cases there for the day and pick up later. Nothing was a problem at all and I really recommend staying here.

Everything was really good here

The location is perfect for exploring Venice. The room has a lot of venetian character (we stayed in the green one), and is very clean and comfortable. Our room didn't have a view, and breakfast (which was excellent) is served in the room - which was a surprise but actually quite nice. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially organising for us a water taxi to take us to the station, and offering to help us transfer from the airport on arrival - really lovely people all round.

Well the room didn't have a view outside at all, and there is no shared dining area. But to be honest, this actually wasn't a big deal - we treated the room as clean & safe place to sleep - and the views are to be had outside the room.

Everything !!! Greatest location- very safe. Attention to details- among arriving was provided some nice welcome gifts with some champagne. Bathroom was clean and water was hot. Was provided excellent breakfast (on time) brought to the room - with a smile on her face. Internet was fast- bed and pillows very comfortable. Best of all- location was quiet yet walkable to many delicious restaurants and popular places to check out. Front desk was really helpful also-Luigi made us feel welcomed and showed us on the map where to go to see the different places. It was only a 2 night trip but honestly one of the best stays I’ve had ever (in my life) the last day we had to leave at 7 am to catch the train at 8- the host went out of her way to get me breakfast kept in the fridge so we can have it early morning before the ride. Thank you so much Alessia for showing you care- this will definitely be our go to if we can come to Venice to visit! I would give this 11/10 if I was able to. Must book !!!!

Nothing- I don’t know how they could have improved

Fantastic little B&B/hotel, right in the centre of Venice. Amazing staff. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Gave us some great recommendations for restaurants away from the tourist hot spots. Beautiful rooms. The room was decorated and we had a bottle of bubbles waiting for our arrival as it was my wife's 50th and our anniversary. Super comfy beds. Great bathroom. Amazing breakfast, served in your room at a time of your choosing. All of this hidden behind a plain wooden doorway on a lovely street. It's like your own secret hotel! If we are ever in Venice again, this is where we will stay!

Absolutely nothing!

Alvise was an exceptional host—friendly, knowledgeable, multilingual, and gracious, with a remarkable sense for hospitality and customer service. He provided us with clear directions, thoughtful recommendations, and invaluable assistance throughout our stay. Even if we had experienced challenges (which we did not), I would recommend Residenza Veneziana solely based on Alvise’s professionalism and care.

We loved this small B&B. Our host Alvise was so friendly and helpful - he shared so much information about the city and how to get around. Our room was lovely, very comfortable and quiet. We booked a smaller room that didn't have a nice view but that wasn't an issue. The location was perfect to walk out the door and head to restaurants, museums, tours, etc. The continental breakfast was served in our room and was very good.

Place was very nice, Lewis front office was so helpful, I actually missed my stop and got down in another stop, spoke to Lewis came back to my original stop where i am supposed to go down and was surprised to see Lewis over there waiting for me, it was so nice of him to come and take us back to the hotel. I thank him very much for that. My stay was very comfortable and they serve excellent breakfast which is included with the room. I will for sure recommend this hotel for everyone.

Lovely small hotel in a great location, walking distance to everywhere. We were in the green room which was great, no view but didn’t matter as we spent little time in the room. A lovely continental breakfast is delivered to your room at your time of choosing and there’s plenty of food including pastries, meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt and fruit. The staff were delightful. Alvise and Silvia were so helpful, friendly and welcoming, giving us suggestions of restaurants, islands to visit and water boats to get. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again. We loved Venice!

Nothing not to like.

The staff here were so friendly and efficient, the guy on reception was so helpful and the lady that brought our breakfast every morning was so happy and welcoming. Location was excellent literally minutes from the Basilica but in a quiet area. Breakfast every morning was lovely and so filling with our choice of coffee. Room was clean, comfortable and the decor was traditionally Venetian which is what we wanted, we had a canal view room it was so nice to have breakfast in our room looking out on the canal. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was all good.

The residence is a true Venetian experience; Decor is traditional Italian style with modern updates. Bathroom is huge. Rooms are comfy and very quiet. Tall ceilings. Note there stairs up to the second floor. Wifi excellent . Entrance is discrete and private. Venetian.host. He really went out of his way to suggest excellent out the way restaurants. We were there only one night but thoroughly enjoyed our time. Also recommended the water transit back to the bus station. Great route with great sights. Suggest you have a mobile phone with maps to navigate.

It's Venice. So understand that if you have luggage you need to transport it yourself. No cars.
