It was great, especially the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The manager gave us great recommendations for exploring the city. Upon request they also got us extra mosquito repellant for our room which helped a lot. The room was well kept and the A/C worked well so we didn't need to open the windows (as they didn't have mosquito nets). The pool was perfect and great for cooling off after a long day in the hot city.

Only complaint is that our room had the A/C unit right next to the bed so it was blowing on one side which didn't help sleeping (cold dry air blowing all night). The other room we had was fine though.

The property had beautiful views of Florence from up in the hills. Although it looked massive, there was only 11 rooms. The rooms were updated very clean and very comfortable. The staff was amazing from the time we arrived at every turn. We decided not to go in the city, which was about 5 miles away and we had to get up early to catch a flight. We decided to do room service & what a great surprise! Delicious meal at a great price! We would definitely stay there again! Grazie!

If you are looking to leave your room and walk around for shops or eating establishments, this is not the place. I believe it was Daniel that gave us bus information how to navigate the bus system to avoid a taxi. He was super professional and helpful at every level accommodating every need.

We loved our stay at this beautiful hotel. The view from our room was breathtaking. The breakfast was as expected, lots of choice and all very fresh. Friendly helpful staff. The pool was such a bonus in August. If you intend to use public transport, ensure you ask for exact details such as road name for bus stops etc, there’s lots of road works affecting the route. Tip, use google maps on your phone while on public transport so you know where you are and when to get off etc.

Better details for our arrival using public transport, we were very stressed when we arrived, we ended up getting a taxi as the square we were told to get a bus from didn’t have a bus stop due to road works, then the bus stop we found (correct bus number and timetable) had a dead end and buses were suspended! Not a great start. Umbrellas at the pool would have been good especially in August. You get shade from trees early and late in the day only. Be aware that the bus up to the hotel stops outside the hotel, but to go down you need to change and wait about 20-30 minutes for another bus.

The room was spacious with stunning views! The bed was comfortable. The staff were all amazing, kind, and helpful. The breakfasts were good, and I liked that there was a restaurant that catered for all meals. The pool is a beautiful addition, even though we didn't get to use it.

This doesn't relate to the accommodation, but the bus service was not great - even though there is a bus stop directly opposite the accommodation. Be prepared to use a taxi.

In my lifetime, I have never stayed in a more beautiful hotel. We wrapped up our 2 week European vacation with an overnight stay at Eden Rock. This exquisitely beautiful venue is beyond all expectations. Not only are the views amazing, but the staff and amenities are over the top. The friendliness, cleanliness, 5 star dining experience, and did I mention the views??? There is no comparison. We will return to this castle in the starlit sky.

The view and location is incredible. The imperial suite is ver comfortable and spacious. High quality furniture, big wardrobes, good garage, nice staff at the breakfast

The service in general is not really warm, it is okay but not what you would expect when paying such an high price. The breakfast is very simple and could be better with small adjustments: better bread, fresh juice, fresh fruits, vegetables, less sweet stuff like cakes and similar.

From the moment we arrived we were amazed at how friendly the staff was! They gave us a tour and told us the best routes to take, explained amenities etc. Breakfast view was breathtaking and the servers always made us laugh and you could tell they genuinely enjoy their jobs. Can’t wait to come back!

The restaurant manager will try to get you to buy the most expensive bottle of wine, gets kind of pushy like a car salesman.

The best place we have ever stayed at. We were sad to leave it. Beautiful view of the mountains and Florence. Kids loved the pool. Also there is no problem reaching the place if you are without a car, as we took the bus 25 when we needed to go to the city center and back. The bus stop is right across the street. Thank you for everything!

Everything was perfect!

Its a beautiful resort just outside Florence and the view of Tuscan countryside and the surrounding mountains was terrific. We stayed in the Deluxe suite and could not have asked for a better room. Michael was so so helpful and friendly especially when showing us the bus routes for which he actually came along with us (as we didnt have our own car). He helped us get our tickets to Uffizi too. Staff on the whole was really nice and always had a smile for everyone; they arranged taxi cabs for us whenever we requested them.

Absolutely beautiful hotel just a few kilometres from the centre of Florence. The staff couldn’t do more for us,the whole of our stay. From telling us about the city national holiday and where to go to enjoy with the locals, to letting us leave our luggage all day on our final day where we could use the pool and shower before heading home- after check out! If you stay here please make the most of using the phone they provide in your hotel room, we took it out with us for the day which helped us get around the city, plus easier to book taxis and buses through. Finally we hired an electric vesper which was the highlight of our holiday. We could easily get around the city or in the hills and had the most amazing meal at Coquinarius, the best food we had all weekend
