The resort’s location is excellent, with a wonderful beach. We can see the coral with various fish just near the beach, especially the black-tip shark. And all the things here are super good! The staff is nice and friendly, breakfast was delicious and varied for the price we paid, and they also have a life jacket, snorkeling mask, and aqua shoes provided for guests who stay here, which is all free! I highly recommend that you stay here. (Don’t forget to try the resort’s restaurant)

The only one thing I don’t like about this resort is the way to come here but trust me, you should take a risk to get a chance for visiting a wonderful place with this resort and the shuttle bus schedule time that is not much for your convenience. It would be better if they can provide it every hour.

The location cannot be beat, right on a small bay it shares with only 2 other resorts, coral view has the nicest snorkeling I experienced on Koh Tao even on my snorkeling tour of the island. It is a short ride from Sairee and the pier and they have a great shuttle service. We did not try the food but our room was clean with a view like described.

The air conditioning was technically running but the room never truly got cool. Certainly cool enough to sleep but not the crisp cold I experienced elsewhere in Thailand.

Would have given 10/10 or 20/10, but there is one flaw. This place is magical. We took the beach bungalows, which is right on beach. The beach on this resort is out of this world. We have visited almost all the beaches in Koh Tao, looks wise, this one is most picturesque. It has white sandy beach and dramatic rocks in one side. Best part about this place is that the beach will not have any other people as the beach is only accessible from the resort, so you will not find random people in the beach. It is also away from the busy area, so that is a plus for many. The beach bungalows are two storied with probably 4 rooms in each level. If you stay in the corner rooms (like us), you will get uninterrupted view of the sea. The rooms are good with all the basic amenities. The bar and restaurant at the beach is truly out of this world. Sharing photo. You can spend all day chilling there. You can take snorkelling gears (complementary) and snorkel right on the beach. has good coral reefs. Complementary breakfast was good as well. There is only one flaw for which i gave it 9/10 instead of 100/10. That is the steep road to get to the resort. Overall whole koh tao has uphill and downhill roads which is manageable, even for okay scooter riders. I am an experienced scooter rider (i use regularly in a crowded city for last 7 years and have rode in mountains as well). The road just near the resort which you need to take to get down to the resort is so steep that is impossible if you want to ride with a passenger behind you. It is almost 45-60 degree steep. I was travelling with my wife. It was impossible to get down because it was so steep. Everytime I had to leave my wife who had to walk downhill/uphill for 5-10 mins to get down to/up from the beach villa, which was physically draining. There is also a sign by the road which mentioned that only 1 rider.

A magical spot right on a private beach shared between two resorts. Our ocean view chalet was gorgeous with lovely views and had everything we needed. The bar right on the beach was a fantastic spot to relax over delicious cocktails which were an amazing price at happy hours. Snorkelling at the beach was great

Food was a little disappointing for Thailand standards but was certainly adequate. The other resort restaurant also on the beach had very good food. Would recommend taking own beach towel

Gorgeous setting, beautiful beach front and lovely green area surrounding. The hut we stayed in was basic but had everything we needed for our few days there. The staff were friendly and dealt with our problems (of washing being shrunk) well. The hotel provides a shuttle a couple of times a day to the main area.

Slightly out of the way, despite being a short walk from the centre on google maps, it is tucked away with a lot of hills and through dark & unlit areas which makes it impossible and unsafe to walk to the centre. Would recommend renting a motorbike if you was to stay here. The breakfast was disappointing to say the least, we went on our first morning and wondered why no one else was there until we looked at the selection of uncovered fruit which had flies fleeing around, bread, butter that also had flies around and a very small selection of cereal.

We finally achieved to get a bungalow with a sea view which was very nice [thank to the reception who made changes after we complained about the noisy neighbors]. Great space, breakfast offered a good choice of items with a breathtaking view: clearly the greatest added value of this property with the snorkeling area in front of the hotel.

The road is VERY dangerous by motorbike to reach the hotel or leave from it [like 35-40% slope, no kidding]. The beach is quite far from what we saw on pictures [steep and unsuitable for lounging]. The location for sunbeds [above the beach] is not well maintained, many sunbeds were broken and people were not stopped to smoke cigarettes and marijuana. Bungalows can get noisy, should you have careless neighbors [it happened twice to us on a 6-night stay]. At last, no free transfer on check-out since we were demanded to pay 400BHT for the hotel pick-up to reach the pier at 7:00am for a 5-minute drive [same price than DMK-Ayuthaya that took us 1 hour by taxi]. Too bad since that property has everything in hands to become perfect.

I wish I could live at Coral View! We stayed in a Hillside Hut - the bed was comfy (I don't know what kind of cotton the bedding was made of but it was so soft!), it had aircon, and an ensuite bathroom. What more could you want? Well, the view was also fantastic! It was mostly of the trees, but so tropical and heavenly. Walking through the trees to get to the beach, there were butterflies everywhere! The view from the breakfast spot is incredibly beautiful and serene. The beach bar and restaurant is ideally located with, would you know, ANOTHER incredible view! The food was good, the drinks were good (I had a pina colada EVERYDAY!) You can snorkel straight off the beach, but as it's mostly coral, I would recommend taking water shoes. And the snorkelling is fantastic! Aside from the many, many, many colourful fish (enormous, tiny and every size in between), we also saw black tipped reef sharks and turtles. The reception team were so wonderful, the staff in all spaces were friendly and so helpful. If you're hoping for a 5-star luxury resort, this is not it. The facilities are simple, but I would pick this over anything else any day! I'm already planning our next trip back to Coral View!

Breakfast was very nice, with some good thai options. Location is right on beach which is great. Beautiful bar on beach with great deck to have dinner and a coconut under the stars. Great food and drinks selection. Room was very spacious, and great location next to beach. Half day private snorkel trip organised by the resort dive centre was fun, as got to visit cool local reefs. We also liked the natural greenery and vegetation around the hotel.

Could offer fresh fruit juice at breakfast. Massages were good, but maybe invest in a proper massage table and have some curtains for a bit more privacy. Bathroom gets wet after shower so maybe have a shower curtain or fan to dry it.

We love the close proximity to the beach, and the relaxing facilities. The room is also very clean. The restaurant was amazing, and the free breakfast bar was incredible. The views from the entire resort were beautiful. All the staff were so so friendly and lovely and very accomodating (you’re able to pick up your free breakfast the night before if you leave early the following day). The restaurant had amazing food at an affordable price (100-200 baht) and I had the most insaneeeeee smoothie here. I Recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The resort is around 10-15 mins from town, so budget in the cost of taxis (more expensive considering it’s an island however the hotel provides transport at either 100 baht at a set time or 300 baht each way for a private taxi), or mopeds when you’re there. However, the hills surrounding the resort were quite steep, and probably not great for a beginner moped rider.

It is a perfect getaway spot. Calm, beautiful beach and far from the traffic and fuzz of the village. All around snorkling spots, where even sharks and sea turtles come for a visit. The bay has a diving shop, where we rented a long boat to take us to all the best snorkling spots (recommend). I have to specially mention the kindness of the staff at the beach bar/restaurant. Very good food, the best cocktails and a perfect view.
