Lovely room with comfortable bed, smart TV, good aircon and good shower pressure. Also provided free sarongs and reusable tote bags in the room to take for days out plus free water bottles each day. Free breakfast was also great as was the free tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day. Easy to walk from the pier with all our bags too. Can book the snorkelling tour with them which was great and there are snorkels at the hotel if you want them! Very good value for money.

It does take about 20 minutes to walk to the heart of Sairee Beach however this wasn't too much of a problem as the walk is really pleasant.

Staff are lovely, very helpful. Basic breakfast included, but enough to keep me going until dinner. Rooms cleaned daily, fresh towels, toiletries and water supplied. Rooms large and nicely equipped, although I can never get these screen mirror things to work in hotels so no tv for duration o if stay. Kettle in room but no cups.

Top of the hill, it's not a bad hill, but after 4 dives walking from the pier, it can feel like everest. ;) A was attacked by many mosquitos when sitting on the balcony. The gardens are lovely but do seem to attract mosquitoes. Traffic noise (i was in room 25) can be quite loud at times.

We loved the Blue Wave hotel in Koh Tao. The hotel is very clean, nice and beautiful inside. Rooms are new, super clean, and very comfortable bed. The staff was wonderful, and super helpful with our checkin and during our stay for every request. They also provide beach tower and bag, which is very convenient. It's close to the port, so we chose it for this reason on our arrival to Koh Tao for some first days. Also to do scuba diving in nearby schools.

The only thing could be approximity to the road, so you hear the cars and motors in the rooms close to the road.

Very conveniently located - minutes walking to the ferry pier, and close to restaurants/convenience stores too. As others mentioned, it's on a main road which you can hear, but it didn't bother me (and the hotel provides ear plugs if needed). The room is clean and comfortable, with AC, mini-fridge/freezer, shower, TV all working perfectly. There's some simple breakfast provided, as well as water bottles. Other thoughtful touches include tote bags and beach towels that you can borrow. Overall great value for money!

The room was very comfortable, a/c worked well. It's a nice touch to get bottles of mineral watet every day and have an option for filling as well. When I checked in I realized it was a room at the front, on a busy road. The staff exchanged to an inner room with no problem, which was very nice. The communal area is nice. You can borrow beach towels and snorkels free of charge. It's close to many things, but outside the noisy party area.

Only that there wasn't really a closet for clothes...

The place was super clean! The staff was very nice and super helpful. The rooms are big and the bed was also big. The rooms have big size TV and you can watch Netflix. They also offer a continental breakfast, which was toasts, fruit, cereal and coffee. The location is great! Close to a lot of restaurants and like a 10 min walk to the beach! Overall the stay was great!

The only thing I didn't like is that because it is next to a main street, it can be noisy at night due to the amount of motorcycles passing by. But if noise doesn't bother your a sleep, then you are good

The place is cozy and clean, average bathroom, but cleaning with fresh towels and drinking water are provided daily which makes the stay very enjoyable. Appreciated, also, that the hotel provided beach towels, snorkeling equipment and tote bags as well. A small breakfast is provided in the morning (coffee, milk, juice and toast+butter/jam and fresh fruit), while instant coffee and tea are always available.

It was a bit hard to sleep due to the working in the land next to the hotel and busy street nearby, but earplugs are provided.

Blue wave house is a must stay in Koh Tao. Incredibly affordable in comparison to lots of the places available. Family run business who are just so accomodating. We got free snorkels for our stay which was so awesome!!! Free toast, coffee, biscuits and water everyday. Room cleaned everyday with fresh towels and a TV with Netflix etc. Such a lovely room with a gorgeous sea view. We had to shorten our stay in Koh Tao for personal reasons and they even refunded us the two night amount even though it was non refundable!!! Incredibly kind of them to do that when most wouldn’t. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Covers everything you need; pristinely clean, great location, amazing and thoughtful team. I couldn't have hoped for more. I LOVED my stay here. What is most important to me when staying at a hotel is cleanliness and hygiene, and Blue Wave house was a 10/10 with that.

Honestly nothing, but I can imagine that a light sleeper might be bothered by the sounds from outside or other rooms (if you're unlucky with neighbours).

Owners are lovely - I was poorly on check in and they helped get my room ready for me an hour earlier than check in. I really appreciated this. Water left outside your room when you have the do not disturb sign up. Great location near port, 7/eleven, and a lovely panini place down the road (BaiMai Cafe - go for the chicken and mozzarella, you won’t regret it!) Free snorkels and sarongs to borrow Nice breakfast included.

A little bit expensive for what it is.
