The location was at short distances from bus stops, rainbow road, the church, Halgrimskirkja. I had the room at the 3rd floor with a bathroom. The guests that were staying there were not bothersome at all, of course you could hear them coming in and out but only for a brief moment. The host, Steinunn ( I apologize in advance if I get it wrong) and Dana were very hospitable and accommodating. It was fun meeting guests at the morning for breakfast to listen to their stories. Guests are also welcome to help themselves a cup of coffee or tea in the kitchen at any type of day. Steinunn will give advice and recommendation on your travel if you asks. I love how she would ask her guests for the day's activity so that she would account/expect you for breakfast. I left at 3:45 am but they were thoughtful enough to pack me something for breakfast. I solo traveled in Iceland, it was my home for 9 days. I would definitely recommend.

Lovely place, cozy, nice owner, good breakfast, we would stay there again

We slept downstairs and it was quite loud there. We heard all the footsteps of the people walking in the living room and kitchen.

Reykjavík Treasure B&B was very homely and cosy. The staff serving breakfast were very friendly and welcoming. Steinunn the owner has created a beautiful home that was warm, comfortable and luxurious. Steinunn was a very responsive host, replying very quickly to messages and very helpful. The location was very central and close to everything. We were less than 5 minute walk to bus stop number 1 - city hall where all our tours picked us up from as well as fly bus transfer to Keflavík Airport. The breakfast was delicious, lots of food options and Steinunn even arranged for us to have a breakfast bag for our early flight. Reykjavík Treasure B&B was excellent value for money, I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Steinunn and your lovely staff, we had a lovely stay.

Nothing bad to report, a most wonderful stay and highly recommended.

The building is a beautifully restored part of Reykjavik’s history. Fantastic host and staff, offered lots of great suggestions for activities and also gave a wonderful glimpse into everyday life for Icelanders. The Breakfast buffet was served in a cosy kitchen/dining area and homemade breads and jam were delicious. The communal sitting are was cosy and filled with interesting artwork and beautifully curated collections. As a solo traveler this could not have been a more perfect experience.

Nothing, Everything was as expected.

I really enjoyed my time here. Very simple check-in. I really liked my room it was full of light and warm. It was very cosy and calm. I had an excellent breakfast each day and great coffee. The hostess was very helpful to give ideas and tips on Iceland. It’s a very central location great to get buses and 5 minutes walk to the old harbour, but a very quiet street and with nordic charm. High standards of housekeeping and always fresh sheets/towels. I highly recommend this!

Exactly what we were looking for with a B&B! Located less than a block from the restaurant / pub neighborhood, but on a narrow lane, secluded from the noise. Very close to a public parking garage. Good sized, extraordinarily clean room. Comfortable bed. Plenty of hot water for a morning shower. Fantastic breakfast, with plenty of "local" flavor. The host and her staff we very friendly and helpful in identifying points of interest that might be of interest! This was out first visit to Iceland, but it wont be our last! We plan booking here again, when we return!

Our host was over the top helpful. She helped us navigate Reykjavik and adventure options any time we asked. We really liked the breakfasts and staff. The location was perfect for us.

We stayed three nights two times. There are various rooms available. Our first stay we had a spacious room with a washing machine and sitting area. Our second stay was a small room with a cramped bathroom. if you are 6'+ ask not to stay in room 301. That said everything else far outshines that room.

Great experience from start to finish. The directions for thw outdoor keypad were easy to follow and worked perfectly. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast and coffee were amazing. We were able to check in early as our room was ready. Very close to the city center but very quiet. We stayed on a Thursday night. We had several hours in Reykjavik between checkbout and shuttling to the airport and we were allowed to store our bags in a common area while we walked around the city which was very convenient and helpful and allowed us to fully enjoy the last few hours we had in beautiful Iceland. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.

There is nothing that comes to mind.

Very comfortable and excellent hosts. Self check in did confuse some people but we found it fine to use. Breakfast was a nice intro to Icelandic foods with freshly baked bread in the morning. Great location within walking distance to all of the main city attractions and food restaurants

If pushed, pillows were a bit lumpy but we still slept well. You can see in the pictures that some of the rooms have sloped ceilings so just have to be careful if you're tall

"You're back!" And that's how our conversation started again. Always lovely when you walk in and the host instantly recognises you, and then we have a bit of a catchup. Steinunn is our number 1 host and I always try and stay here each time I go to Reykjavic. Really lovely rooms, great property with an absolute stack of character that's now become so popular that's it become difficult to get a booking.. so if you do, you're lucky. We've met lots of people here over the wonderful breakfasts - and our #1 favour part is that Steinunn pulls out a map and directs us to somewhere we haven't been before.. but really want to go to. This time we drove clockwise around the entire country and she advised on a restaurant at the western peninsula that absolutely rocked, Thankyou Steinunn as ever!

No rooms available for our return dates.. it's very popular. We stayed elsewhere on the return leg and it wasn't as good. Treasure however was faultless. We'll be bac again!!
