I travelled with a group of friends, there were 10 of us altogether. From the moment we arrived at the hotel we met the most amazing staff, all were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our beautiful rooms, kept spotlessly clean, were all located next to each other on the 3rd floor with views over the city, the bed was extremely comfortable, there was good storage for our luggage, tea/coffee making facilities and a modern marble tiled bathroom with a large walk -in shower. Despite being on Rua das Flores, the hotel was quiet and intimate, offering a small bar area and a breakfast room where we enjoyed a huge choice of food daily. We all had an amazing stay, everything for our party was just perfect, we cannot wait to return!

From arrival to departure the hotel ticked every box. The entrance lobby was welcoming and the staff were efficient at check- in, explaining the amenities and times for the restaurant and bar. On arrival in the room we were pleasantly surprised to find a personally addressed welcome note along with a small bottle of port and some pastries with a couple of chocolates in the mini fridge. What a lovely touch. The room was a good size and very quiet on the top floor. The shower space was generous. There was a kettle in the room with tea and coffee. Everything was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was amongst the best we had ever had. A great selection and very attentive staff. The hotel is located just a short walk from the metro which cost less than £2 to get from the airport. The location on a pedestrianised street meant there were plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from and the river was just down the hill.

Great hotel! The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, everyone on staff was extremely nice, the breakfast included was delicious, and the location in the animated section of Porto was what we were looking for. The shutters on the windows were really terrific - kept any noise out as well as light so it was nice and quiet. The carafe of port in our room was also a very nice touch.

All around the hotel was great but I think it should be noted that Rua das Flores is closed to cars except taxis. This works beautifully since there are so many people walking there, but if you're coming from the train, etc you need to get a taxi, not an Uber, because Ubers are not allowed on the street. It's hard to pull your suitcase along the mosaic sidewalks so having a taxi take you directly to the hotel is a better option. We were lucky that a friend had given us this information beforehand.

Since the minute we arrived the staff treated us exceptionally. The breakfast was really really good and had it all. The rooms are very comfortable. The whole hotel is really clean and elegant. The location is super close to everything. We enjoyed staying! My great surprise was that we had a really early flight. The hotel arranged transportation with a taxi and gave us a bag to go with breakfast and coffee and two pasteles de nata. What else could I asked for??? Hajaha. Thank you Pousada do Porto for an excellent staying. If we get lucky and be able to come back, we are definitely staying at your hotel.

We loved everything!

Breakfast was great, the bed confortable .. but not the pillow.

The swimming pool was great but the ladder was loose and make the experience unconfortable… you really make all the effort to present the hotel to a high standards and sometimes a detail like the loose and rusty ladder (that can be dangerous for some one) can errase all the effort and lower the impression of the Client’s experience of the Hotel… hope this make sense .

The room was a great size with A/C we had a superior room on the ground floor. Great shower with toiletries. Though on a busy pedestrianised street we didn't hear anything during the night. The hotel also had a really nice fragrance which I know is an odd thing to say but it did. Breakfast was good having a mixture of foods which set us up for the day. Great location only €11-12 by Bolt taxi app from the airport. Would highly recommend would definitely stay there again. It was nicely located for restaurants as well.

If you struggle with mobility it's slightly on a hill but that's Porto in general but not in anyway impossible

Attention to detail, chocolates on the pillows and a welcome note with a small carafe of Port on our first night. The staff were really friendly. The room was lovely and very comfortable Great location for sightseeing and restaurants, lots of entertainment on the busy but pedestrianised street.

The bar shut early between 10.30 pm and 11 pm. Our room was at the back of the hotel, we had the tiniest balcony, couldn't really stand on it and with the view of a crane and the noise of the air conditioning unit outside, you wouldn't want to anyway. But to be fair we spent very little time in the room anyway as we were out and about enjoying the sights and experiencing Porto which was truly amazing.

The whole experience was excellent. We were made to feel so welcome when we arrived, the reception staff were really helpful about what we could do and made excellent recommendations. The staff in the restaurant were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was very comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely location close to the river and also to the many important landmarks we wanted to visit.

There was nothing we did not like. It was an excellent stay.

All of the staff were always kind and helpful - especially Diogo! He gave us amazing recommendations for food and experiences for our stay during check in. All the recommendations we tried were an amazing experiences! Breakfast was great - we especially loved the oat milk lattes. You also can’t beat the location - it’s central to everything and easy to walk anywhere in town.

Great location, in the historic center at walking distance of most of the monuments, musea and of the bridge and with various restaurants in the area.

Small improvements can be made : refills of tissues in the bathroom, more room for clothes hanging, no charging of my bar / room service on the room because "reception forgot to take card print (while they had it through the booking), extra fee to bring the food to the room (extra 10 euros !) while prices are already relatively high for the food itself.
