Excellent breakfast. Beautiful location. Big, yet cosy room. It was a little colder than what we wanted, but when I told the staff at reception they sent up an extra electric heater.

Would have loved some additional meal options with the booking, we could only get breakfast. The hotel had a restaurant where you could dine, however.

Great location in beautiful Wengen. Spacious rooms - we loved the "living room/library" corner with the sofa and the TV. We also liked the kettle, coffee machine, etc. that were provided in the room. The beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent in terms of selection and quality. Staff were very helpful and friendly, with the young female bartender in particular going out of her way to provide us with the best possible experience. Another great plus of the hotel was the spa area. While it was quite small and simple, it was still a nice bonus on top of the overall great experience, especially as it was included for free with our booking. The view from the pool was amazing.

Unfortunately, the room we booked was facing the forest side instead of the mountain side, so the view from the room was not as good as we had hoped for. Furthermore, the shower wall only covered half the shower area, meaning you had to be careful not to splash water on the floor. For the spa area, the slippers we were provided with were not waterproof and also a bit slippery on the wet floor. Some of the locks of the showers were also broken. Also, when we were in the pool there were a lot of kids playing wildly and splashing water on us, so it was not as relaxing as we had hoped for. The breakfast area was also a bit crowded, so it was a bit hard to take food without bumping into people.

Of a two week trip throughout Europe this hotel was by far our favorite. The views/location was breathtaking, the room (Duplex) was clean, comfortable and luxurious in size, and the staff was kind and helpful at every turn. The spa area was freely accessible (for the most part) and so very welcome after long days of hiking.

Fantastic stay! The hotel was modern, clean, and had everything we needed. We especially liked the terrace with the valley view! Even though the spa had some temporary issues the hotel offered everyone a free entrance to a much better spa nearby, which was greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately the spa was not fully open, but the alternative was great. The room was a little bit cold at times but otherwise it was all fantastic.

Superb refurbishment :) The rooms are now more like modern contemporary rooms rather than the older-fashioned traditional and basic rooms often found in Switzerland, even in expensive hotels.

It would feel unfair to criticise anything. We had a great time even though we were only here one night this time.

A lovely hotel. The staff was great, kept our bags for the day before we checked in, gave my daughter coloring books with stickers to keep (lovely surprise/gift for her), pool area was great (and has kid-friendly hours for the kids to get nuts and not worry about splashing and yelling), and the view from our balcony was lovely. We will happily stay there on our next visit for sure. And next time, we'll pay for breakfast. It looked DELICIOUS. And Wengen was nicer than I expected. Very quiet, lovely to walk around in the evening, not crazy touristy like some other towns in the area.

Amazing location in the beautiful village of Wengen The views from our room for fabulous with a large balcony facing the mountains. The bar man and the front desk lady were always serving with a smile. The rooms were comfortable with a Nespresso machine and robes for all even the kids. The mini bar was free and restocked daily . The bed room was silent and had enough ventilation via a window. There is lots of night entertainment and amazing restaurants around. We din try the food there but it looked pretty full throughout . There were scooters for kids which they thoroughly enjoyed. The pool and spa were also wonderful .they even have a nice trampoline and play slides for kids.. Completely recommend..

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. Even the smaller room I booked had everything I needed, including a patio facing the mountain and a desk for me to work at (plus free drinks in the mini-bar!). The bar/lounge area was such a great space to grab a drink after a day of hiking, and I loved the pool/sauna/steam room area. Best of all, the hotel staff were so accommodating, even offering to move my room when I told them there was a noisy family next door. I will stay here next time I visit for sure!

Very convenient location next to the railway station, where the family room for 4 was by far the most reasonable deal we could get on a short notice booking for a Wengen Saturday night during top season! The room was perfectly designed to fit 4, excellent shower, free minibar!

It may make sense (for a top destination in Switzerland) to pay 28 CHF for breakfast - if you're planning to eat all what you can, American style, in that morning. If you're happy with a few tasty pastries and a coffee-to-go, try the bakery a few blocks away - we had, for 30 CHF, more than enough for all the four of us!
