The design was pleasant and the facilities were clean. There was an air conditioner in the room.

The room was smaller than what we booked. The lobby and hallways were hot.

The hotel locates at the start of the philosopher's way and there are lots of small shops nearby. The Neckar River and the old town are within 15min walk-time reachable. Trams and buses to e.g. central train stations are also quite near around the hotel. The staffs are very nice and helpful.

The hygiene of the room, especially the toilet, can be better, as we spotted mold on the faucet and the basin. Also, the smell of the room is bad sometimes.

Exceptional service. Everything is new and well taken care of. The decore in the hallways and in the room is high quality and chic. The location is perfect - right outside the hotel there are several restaurants and bakeries as well as the tram and bus stops. The hotel is located just nine- minute walk from the city center or one tram stop. My favorite place to stay while in Heidelberg.

Nice location, very helpfull staff. I arrived super late ( 1 am), the reception arranged for me a self-checkin and I managed to get to my room very fast - they managed my check-in and passport copy in the morning during my breakfast. Everything was super smooth and each topic I needed to cover with the reception was very quickly resolved. On the day of my departure, I needed to stay a bit longer - again very nicely handled by reception staff.

Matthius was very helpful and obliging to ALL our requests very promptly - upon checking-in, he helped to locate nearest pick-up and printed out a map for us. Also, very promptly attend to all our requests and housekeeping requests. He is definitely an asset to the Hotel.

The noise from the tram is quite loud to me in the morning (probably since 6am+) and very hard to sleep well/late if u r sensitive to noise. Also, housekeeping needs to replace/check replenishment of consumables like tea/coffee, water, tissue paper, toilet paper, cotton buds etc DAILY as we stayed for 5 nights. The reception was not manned in the evening and we have to get Matthius to help us replenish the consumables in the afternoon else buy our own, which should not be as all hotels we ever stayed all replenish/check daily

The location was great as I could just walk down to the bridge and make nice walk along the river. The room was small but very well decorated, and it was clean. If you are lucky, you can park a car in front of Hotel, but there is a public parking house near the hotel (along the river). There was also public transport (Street train) in front of the hotel.

There was no hot water for the first night. As the hotel is located along the street where the train runs, you can hear the noise starting from 4:00 a.m. I wished to have a fridge in the room.

The location of the hotel is good, it is only a small walking distance from the city center. There are also many restaurants and cafes close to the hotel. The room was big enough, nice, clean, with a comfy bed. The bathroom was new and clean, with a nice shower. The breakfast was good, even if not so varied. The service was always friendly.

It was a little bit noisy from the street in the late evening and early morning. There was not enough space for work, if you are on business travel, but you can still try to adjust it.

The location was excellent close to old town and the lake. The staff was very kind and courteous. They even prepared fresh scrambled eggs and baked some fresh croissants for us. The rooms was very clean.

The rooms was very small in size. They said 23 sq ft, but I highly doubt it was that much. Felt very cramped. No housekeeping everyday.

The noises of the tram in front of the hotel room windows was disturbing. Stuff was extremely friendly. Sadly no breakfast available.

nicely renovated hotel in a fantastic location - comfortable and big room, all worked exceptionally well except for the AC being a bit noisy (only necessary in weather above 30 degreees). late check-in worked well too (but needs to be announced in advance). at the foot of the philophers‘ path as well as near a number of great bars/cafes
