The Gold rooms on floor 35 were great with awesome view down to the pool area. The buffet breakfast, canapes, dessert bar in the lounge as well as free non alcoholic drinks and water was definitely worth the extra amount on the room. As a family of 4 we were really able to utilise the lounge well and feel like we achieved value for money. The pool/hot tub was also amazing! Big hit with the kids.

Not understanding what an 'honor bar' was. When booking we were under the belief that alcohol was included in lounge, however it wasn't, it was an additional expense. Hopefully this comment assists others when booking.

The Gold experience includes the lounges and everything was delightful. We have been coming with our group of girlfriends for a staycation for the past five years for the luxurious rooms, great service, and pools. From being welcomed in at the front desk by Abbey or the staff at the lounge or pool, everyone ensured we had what we needed. We are from Austin and love the convenience to downtown, Rainey and east side so we get a reservation someplace great nearby.

Our experience was so wonderful. I wish we were able to arrive in time for canapes in the lounge at 5pm but we arrived around 7pm and did enjoy dessert from 8-9pm. Every staff member we interacted with was wonderful. I believe it was Veleska (spelling may be wrong I apologize) who checked us in) she got us a great room and had her eye on my wandering 6 year old at all times somehow. I believe she was the sweet soul who sent a small bday sweet to my room on my 50th bday which was just the most special thing. We absolutely LOVED the breakfast - wonderful spread from hot food - eggs, oatmeal, potatoes, waffles (amazing, pancakes, bagels, fruit, yogurt, cereal - we left FULL. The coffee bar was great and the cold drink options were as well. We don't drink but I did enjoy a 0.0 beer in the lounge which I enjoyed. We did make canapes at 5pm before going out. We planned to do happy hour oysters in the bar downstairs but the crudite was so good we didn't have room. The room was spotless! The bed was so super comfortable. The view of the city from the room and of the lounge was absolutely amazing. This is the hotel by which all others will be judged now and I expect others will struggle. We did enjoy the pool and hot tub out on the 7th roof during the afternoon which was really nice. Dropped into the spa and got a tour, considered the spa pass to enjoy the steam room, sauna and jacuzzi in the women's lounge. Next time for sure. During the week I think they said the day pass was $60 which is affordable I just only had an hour or two. I live in Austin so will make a spa appt on a day I have free time so i can enjoy it all. My daughter already wants to know when we are coming back to the Fairmont. Also love that Accor Hotels will match online pricing if you call them directly. Didn't know that!

The only thing I didn't love was not having a menu booklet in the room to browse through for all the restaurants in the hotel. It was on a QR code. As was the spa menu and I think post covid it's ok to have laminated docs for folks to review. Small thing but that's all I can think of.

I could not recommend the Fairmont with any more enthusiasm! If I could rate it an eleven or twelve I would! The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Every detail was attended to. The staff were friendly and always more than willing to help. The Gold level provided access to a private 35th floor longe with a wonderful breakfast, afternoon snack, canape and dessert. The view of Austin from the lounge was spectacular! Access to the heated rooftop pool was from the 7th floor. It was comfortable and relaxing even in though the air was cool during our visit. We borrowed the complimentary bikes and used the extensive trail system to explore the city daily.

The location was great, several restaurants, museums and all kinds of activities to choose from. The hotel is beautiful, the staff was always helpful, the breakfast was delicious with lots of options, also the beds and pillows were great incredibly comfortable.

The cost of the parking in the hotel was not specified when I did the reservation. It was very expensive $50.00 per night. Considering the price you pay for the room the parking should be included.

I stayed at the hotel in a standard room in 2022. I liked it Now I have experienced Fairmont Gold experience Great. The hotel itself has a good location, close to bat bridge (where I didn't see bats...) and 6th street. Great gym, good wifi, friendly and helpful staff. At Gold, the room is better, on a high floor, with a skewer view. It has the exclusive lounge, which is excellent. Refined breakfast included in the lounge, with a wide variety of fruits, quality yoghurt, omelette made to your choice, bread and a healthier option with a variety of baked potatoes, delicious chestnut muesli, smoked salmon. Cakes in the afternoon and mushroom canapés in the evening, cold cuts, a wide variety of good cheeses, guacamole, hummus, etc. Wide range of soft drinks. Great service. Wonderful hotel.

Hotel was beautiful. Gold package is excellent as it offers a vip lounge area which was a lovely addition. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our 3 night stay here.

Had a slight hiccup on the first night where the air conditioning had been down in the hotel all day and our room was unbearably hot, however the hotel moved us to another room and everything was great ftom there on.

Last minute booking after a night out in Austin. We have stayed a couple times now in a Gold room and it's always a treat. The hotel is close to so much in the city. It smells amazing and service is always great. We definitely will be staying again!

New with quick elevator access. The gold lounge and assistant on site.

The bedding made it uncomfortably hot to sleep. The hot duvet on the bed with no top sheets or blanket meant either overheat or sleep with no covers.

Fairmount Gold was worth it. Good large rooms. Clean rooms with lots of room amenities, toiletries and water. Bed and pillows were amazing. Turn down service and regular timely cleaning. Swimming area was great. Gym was big enough, clean with working equipments. The Fairmount Gold lounge had a seperate breakfast area. The positive was, it wasnt that crowded, felt exclusive and away from all the conference goers. The slight downside is they did not serve any eggs or other items made to my preference. The breakfast was standard.

I wish they did some eggs on the menu and some more options other than potatoes and scrambled eggs for those who do not eat pork or beef. Cheese was all lumps, cumble and weird. Avoid conference dates if you can, because all the lobby restaurants were packed and there was nothing for us to eat (quick bite). Luckily we had access to Gold lounge.
