Enormous and well appointed 2 bedroom apartment on 5th floor. Fantastic views across bay with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Just 10 mins walk into centre of Cairns. It’s a lively bustling place with a delightful rhythm to it - deliveries to the Muddy Cafe opposite start at 5:30am and there’s the joyous cries of kids in the park from afternoon to early evening. It feels like a place full of life! Air con in apartment very effective but we didn’t need it in July and just left the door open with a mosquito guard across. Washing machine and dryer were very useful. Well equipped kitchen and large comfortable lounge. Two big bathrooms with effective showers. The swimming pool access is through the car park and has two clean well maintained pools but we didn’t use them much as we were out exploring most days. There’s a supermarket in the town centre with everything you need and many restaurants (with vegan options) from which to choose. A great base to explore Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef and beyond.

We stayed in the apartment that went straight in to the pool. For a family with 3 young children this was perfect. Kept them busy whilst we could keep an eye on them. Also perfect location across the road from Muddy's playground and a short walk to restaurants and the lagoon.

Given this was an apartment, a few more items could have been useful such as toilet cleaner (not being able to clean the toilet for a week was not great with young children), and in the kitchen a few more pantry items would have been helpful e.g. olive oil for cooking, cling film to make sandwiches for our days out, aluminium foil for use in the oven for easy clean up.

We booked 3 BR swim out pool apartment number 2. The property was very spacious, all bedrooms had lots of storage and comfortable beddings. Master bedroom had a great view, jacuzzi, lots of space. Kitchen was fully loaded with appliances and was spacious. Living room and dining area was well equipped. The apartment had huge alfresco with dining table chairs and pool benches which then had step down to the swimming pool. The property also provided with spacious undercover parking with lift access.

Our apartment was number 2 which had swim out option. The swimming pool was 1.9 meter deep from our apartment which was a drawback for someone who is not a swimmer. To access the shallow side, we had to go to the garage and then access the pool area.

We had a family of 6 adults staying. There was plenty of room for all of us and not live on top of each other. We virtually had the pool to ourselves and we loved having our step out entrance to it. It was close to everything on the esplanade , restaurants, bars, shops etc.

TVs in the bedroom could only pick up ANC or SBS, we did ask about it but was told owner needs to buy new tvs. There wasn’t a sharp knife in the place. For family accommodation we did cook to save money. Could barely cut a lettuce. We even bought a sharpener to sharpen the knives but still didn’t work.

The apartment is spacious, and it's perfect for a family getaway. We went with the kids and grannies, so it's good that we get spend some time in the apartment together. It's enough space for everyone. The location is great, close to esplanade promenade and walkable distance to the town. The balcony adds a lovely touch as you can have breakfast and look at the kids while they are swimming. The kitchen has all the utensils, it's really comprehensive.

Some parts are the apartment is a little bit dated, that it's need some to touch up and maintenance. It would be better if the showers were in higher water pressure.

Our apartment was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Great view, beautiful pools. Great location. My partner worked at the hospital which was a quick walk, and I had the kids. I loved that they had plenty of recycling bins, AND containers for cash bins downstairs.

My main (only) dislike is that we couldn't exit the apartments on the esplanade side with prams. We had to go down to the garage, and walk up the ramp, and around the block to get to Muddy's. The room couldn't be darkened very well for baby nap time, but we made it work with sheets, towels, etc.

We had a 6th floor apartment overlooking the water and it was breathtaking. The room itself was spacious for 2 kids and 4 adults and was very clean. The facility was always clean and being cleaned by the friendly cleaning staff. We didn't mind being just out from the main shops as we liked to walk everywhere. The shopping centre was about a 20 minute walk.

The car parks were very tight and we had a spot next to a large 4x4 which made it worse. The book in the room said reception could help with reef tours but when we went to ask it seemed like a chore for them and they couldn't tell us any more than we already knew. We had to book it ourselves as they don't do that. It was quite noisy when there were people out late across the road. Sound travelled.

The location was great. Just away from the hustle and bustle of the main shops/bars/restaurants so it was quiet, but still close enough to easily walk to those places. There was an excellent cafe right across the street (Muddy's) that opened early for breakfast so we could watch the sun come up while drinking coffee in a quiet setting. The pool was also very clean and nice for swimming and relaxing. The place was also very large and easily accommodated the 6 of us. Overall, very nice and we'll stay here again when we come back.

A wonderful location and excellent facilities. A very large apartment with great ocean views, bright and airy. We didn't use the pool area however could see it from our apartment and looked amazing, clean and a great size. If you didn't want to cook a great diner across the street. Lifts to all floors. Staff very engaging and helpful with any directions we wanted or ordering transport for us. Will be staying again when we revisit Cairns. Thank you

There was nothing to not like.

The apartment was a great size and well appointed. The swim out deck was great.

The air conditioner in the middle bedroom was not working. despite being told by the manager "it was brand new" three times and that we were not operating the unit properly. After getting a service person out, it still did not work, it was not until our last night did one of the staff eventually agree that something was wrong. By then it was Sunday and nothing could be done.
