We had a wonderful time while staying at this hotel. The staff was exceptional. Upon our arrival at the train station Elmer the front desk attendant was waiting for us. He helped us with our bags and guided us to the hotel. On our last day there we were checking out and catching the bus to Wanya Picchu. Elmer offered to hold our bags while we were gone. When we returned later that day, he told us we could clean up in a hotel bathroom before we left on the evening train. This is a very quirky hotel, exactly what we were looking for. It's largely open air which we enjoyed immensely. Our room was huge and since it was at the top of the hotel, we had two walls of enormous glass windows with double glass doors leading to a private terrace. The free breakfast was great with eggs to order and excellent service. The hotel is built into the hill side right near the main square which is a very convenient location. We really enjoyed this place and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes something out of the ordinary.
Nothing, Everything was unusual but fantastic. Bear in mind in Peru even at the best 5-star hotels the bathrooms are not what you see even at an average American hotel.

Location is the best. The town itself is tiny so everywhere is very close anyway but the hotel is a little bit more private and the train noise is barely hearable! Breakfast, facilities, comfy bed - all great. We had some issue with the hotel water but this was quickly fixed by the reception and was great for the rest of the stay. The pool was not filled and out of use booking the hot tube was possible (be aware however that it's located inside the patio and has zero privacy)
There is no hotel fault with the weather but the rooms are not ventilated, you can only open the balcony door so the room itself is as humid as it's outside. You can feel it, you can slightly smell it, wet towels and clothes just remain so during the stay. Wish some ventilation/dehumidifier be there.

Beautiful hotel w/ breakfast downstairs - super. It was on the top floor - 5th, and without heating or cooling - the outside air keeps it rather cool inside. Bathroom had aluminum panels over the shower, so you can really feel the cold air.
unfortunately, the cold from outside make it hard to sleep when you have to become a cocoon to not freeze. *also, being right off the 'Town Square, loud speakers from what I guess are people trying to get a lottery of tickets to Machu Picchu? Annoying as it goes on all day into the night.

The location was nice and tucked away, my Dad and I just finished the Salkantay trek so having a hot shower with curtain, enough soap for us each to have our own, and a clean bed was amazing!! Hahah. The staff was friendly and we left our bags in the storage area while we went to machu picchu. We used the jacuzzi which was nice after a long hike and the elevator was working when we were there, granted, we stayed during a. shoulder season not a busy season
There was obnoxious music coming for the central town area in the late evening. Luckily it was over by the time we were headed to bed. Would have been a different severing the music was actually good but it sounded like open mic karaoke 😂 We at least got a good laugh

The location is perfect! Right off the main square but tucked back so it was surprisingly quiet. And not too many steep hills to get to it if you’re traveling with people that may have trouble with that. Several of the hotels in the area require an uphill hike to get to them. The hotel was cute, clean, and comfortable.
There is a cute little pool and hot tub in the center. The hot tub wasn’t functioning and the pool was freezing. Not a bit deal, but it would be really great if those were usable like I assume they have been in the past.

This boutique hotel had unique theme/style compared to other regular hotels. It was something we looked for and was true as depicted online. Things that I liked include their comfy king bed, balcony with great view facing Plaza Pueblo, free breakfast, and much needed service for storing luggage after the stay. Stuff we interacted with was friendly and could speak English. It is conveniently located at Plaza Pueblo, which could get loud at times when there is festival or celebration, but honestly we got so used to it in Cusco already. Hot shower with high water pressure felt soooooo good after 4 days of Salkantay trek.
We didn't see microwave in our room or the breakfast room, but we didn't ask either. They may have it.

Location is great, very central but quiet as the building is set in the alcove like little path from the main square. The hotel is very unique and cute setting. Rooms were very clean and comfortable bed. Surprisingly, very powerful hot shower! Amenities and clean towels are supplied every day. Basic but good selection of breakfast. No problem with eating their food or drinking their juice/coffee etc. Friendly and good multilingual receptionists are welcoming and looking after guests.
Nothing to complain, but only one thing was that there were glass bricks on top row of the wall between the rooms, so that when the room next door turned the light on, it brightened my room too. So, we used eye masks when we went to bed.

This hotel is a bit on the spendy side but for us it was worth it after roughing it for several days. We definitely got the value for the money. It is very eclectic with lots of character, in an excellent location, and staff were great too. Amazing views and courtyards, balconies, and other outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy. Would absolutely stay there again if we find ourselves back in Machu Picchu Pueblo.
I loved everything about this property, but if the hot tub worked it would have been even better.

The location of the hotel was excellent. Right around the corner from the main square/plaza, and walking distance to everything.
The elevator was broken and had appeared to be broken for about a year. We were on the top floor, so it was a lot of stairs to travel up with 4 large suitcases and bags. Also, the jacuzzi and some of the other amenities were not working or broken. I walked around the property and noticed that there was so much unused space for restaurants, gift shops, bars, etc. I think in the past this hotel was probably much better when everything was in use and up and running.
