Location - quiet with 10-15 walk to many restaurants Wifi - acceptable Room space - big enough with kitchen, oven and washing machines If you are driving it is convenient to access the nearby grocery stores (5-8 min)
This is a mix of residential and guest apartment. Reception are not always there. The dish washer in the kitchen is very small and you have to manually wash big dishes The shower screen uses 5mm non-tempo glass. This violates the safety regulation of the authority and dangerous. We are staying in a executive one room apartment on 14 floor but the shower is leaking heavily and we have to use towels on the floor to suck the water Parking starts to charge on A$35/day from 1st Nov 2024 The TV only offers local Foxtel program and have no international channels at all.

Lovely apartment in a perfect location for my trip. I was visiting family in Herston, going to a concert in Fortitude Valley, and caught a day trip from the Bridbane Coach terminal. All these were close by and easily accesable from my apartment. Plus, there are many restaurants and attractions nearby (I walked to the Institute of Modern Art). The apartment was a great size and had everything I needed. Lovely views from balcony and rooftop. The cafe downstairs served a fantastic breakfast that I was able to take back to the apartment. The staff were attentive and friendly. Lovely pool and plenty of outdoor areas. TV in the lounge room had a good variety of things to watch with Foxtel. Walk through closet had enough space for all my items. Washer and dryer worked great with powder supplied. I will definitely book again in the future.
The apartment is starting to show its age in areas, but for the price, I think it is still worth staying and this didn't hinder my experience personally. When showering, water would get through the gap in the shower door and leave a large puddle on the bathroom floor. As I was traveling alone, there were enough towels to combat this. Bed was a little hard for my liking but not a deal breaker. Exhaust fan buttons above stovetop would stick and loud fan would be stuck on.

It was within walking distance to shops and we had a pretty good view. Bed was super comfy with soft pillows and there were 4 towels, which was great too. Check in was easy and staff super nice. Pretty clean and tidy. Our room was pretty clean and tidy and large enough for 2. Kitchen was good size when stuck in a hotel Becoz of weather.
The carpet in the halls looks a little worse for wear. There were no tea towels, we had to use a bathroom hand towel. There was also no oven tray to cook chips or schnitzel, no baking tray, can opener, mixing bowl or ice cube trays. Staying for 3 nights and cooking, there was also not enough dishwashing liquid. The tv was only Foxtel, we couldn't work out how to get free to air channel 7 for cyclone news.

Everything was perfect . I loved it
The drain in apt Level 10 room 1007 The room was beautiful but the moment we walked in the funky smell comes out. Had to leave the aircon on and cover the drain after using the shower Staff were friendly and nice . Didn’t want to trouble them during our stay as there was only one lady at the front desk Sunday morning a nice lady sorted my keys out as I checked in late and I told her about the aircon and drain but we had plans during our stay and only got to the hotel really late and left the moment we woke up so it’s not on the staff but for future it needs to be looked in to please

Really helpful and friendly staff, particularly Clare and Sumaya on reception and Dee in the cafe. The decor is clean and comfortable - any minor niggles were dealt with efficiently and effectively with apologies for any inconvenience. Overall a great place to stay, 12 minutes to Fortitude Valley train station and about 15-20 minutes to the bars at Fortitude valley and another 10 or so to Howard Smith wharves. Bus stops are sited near the apartments and the surrounding area felt very safe. The outdoor pool on the 7th floor is clean with partial shade if desired with comfy sun beds. We were there for 5 nights with no noise disruption from the building construction nearby. The one bed apartment had everything needed to comfortably self cater with laundry facilities including iron and ironing board, microwave, medium fridge/small freezer, electric hob and oven, plenty of cupboard storage, separate dressing area between the bathroom and bedroom and an amazing balcony with table and chairs with great views.
Decent coffee in the room such as a Nespresso machine would be great and almost a given elsewhere these days. There was one hand and one bath towel each supplied with none for pool. There are laundry facilities so you could wash your towel so not the worst thing. They may be available upon request, I didn't ask!

The apartment was clean and comfortable, quiet, well appointed. Free car parking availability was essential in choosing Berlise Apartments. excellent rooftop views, gym and pool facilities. Costs were reasonable. The floor manager that we met when checking out was a really friendly and pleasant guy. The appliances were all modern, clean and functional. cleaning staff were friendly when we were short of some supplies, reception staff were also friendly. Views from our balcony were good and private. we had breakfast on balcony. Balcony furniture was clean . TV was a good size with Foxtel
Navigating the aircon control was not as clear as it could be. S cissors were missing, no soap holder in shower, cold water in shower on the first night, no kitchen dish rack. These were only minor issues that we weren't overly concerned about. raised these more for the benefit of the owners.

The apartment was mostly clean, although the shower area was a little mouldy, but nothing major. The location was close to a few bus stops, one of which took you directly to Chermside Westfield (which is Brisbane's largest Westfield shopping centre). Another bus stop took you directly to the city. I liked that it is close to the Bowen Hills train station and Gasworks plaza. Surprisingly, the apartment I was in, I rarely could hear the construction work that was happening at the back of the building. I was a little worried about that when I first arrived but it was all good, plus I wasn't at the apartment most days. The staff were really helpful and it was a relief that I could leave my luggage at reception when check-in was too early.
when using uber, it was confusing for uber drivers to find the the location accurately which I found annoying.

I always love the location and cleanliness from the apartment. Facilities are also a plus from this accommodation as swimming pool, gym and spa available.
The A/A from the apartment where I stayed (room 1009) was not working properly, despide A/A regulator indicated 18 degrees - cool - fan full ON. the room temperature inside showed 25.5 degrees the whole stay and it did not feel cool at all. As a second point, the fact that car apr price is now an extra charge of $35 per night on top of the accommodation cost which is not cheap either. I have stayed in this location few times over the past 6 years and I will start to look for other options when I request more than 2 nights.

The apartment was excellent, well located close to the station and bus stops, with good good facilities for a weeks stay. Apartment had a lovely balcony. Complex also has a pool, sauna and gym and very nice roof top area, all well maintained.
The dish washer in the room was extremely small, even for 2 people. Like most apartments cooking equipment is very basic and none of the knives are sharp. These are minor issues and were slightly inconvenient but not a major issue. However, unlike most apartment buildings you are charged for extra items. An extra towel is $2. Limited washing powder and dishwasking liquid and tablets were supplied, fine for a night or 2, but anything further had to be paid for. Even trying to get an extra roll of toilet paper ( we stayed for 8 nights) proved difficult. Reception staff were lovely, but some messages didn't get through to housekeeping. However, we would not hesitate to stay here again and will recommend to friends.

Excellent location with a short walk to the train station and everything the Valley has to offer. Wonderful rooftop terrace. The rooms had all the essentials for an extended stay. Although they didn't guarantee parking, we had no issue finding a park every day (we stayed 2 weeks. Comfy beds and lots of storage. Enjoyed the view over the Ekka grounds.
Minor complaints which would not dissuade me from staying, which are common to staying in apartments. The construction noise is right next door, but with the doors closed it was barely noticeable.
