Really clean, cosy, and good location. Great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Not the fault of the staff, but there were issues with other guests staying at the same time (smoking in the hall + bathroom, and shouting in middle of the nights), but after contacting the staff through an emergency number received no reply :(

Location, staff, cleanliness, everything was perfect! Hostel is just 10 mins away from Khosan road/Thanon Ram Buttri(paralel street to Khosan - better) and 3 mins from ferry(Phra Arthit) where you can take either Blue or Orange line to reach the highlights of Bangkok such as Grand Place, Wat Arun within 10 mins while having a canal tour. Although it is very central, the hostel is located in a quiet street where you can have a real Bangkok experience surrounded by local restaurants and street food. The staff was so polite and helpful, although we arrived at 02:00, the owner was there to greet us and to inform us about the neighborhood. He also arranged a premium taxi for us back to Suvanabhumi Airport for a fair price. What a pleasant stay it was...

The bed was pretty firm like a rock firm :) Although I like it, my wife was not happy about it... Also the shared bathrooms have no hot water but I would say warm water. If you would like to take a hot shower no matter what the temperature is, then you would have a problem. In addition, although there were 3 bathrooms, 2 of them had showers and one of them had hangers at the back of the door(broken). But all these are improvement points, not negative...

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Baan U-Sabai - Great value for money! The owner was not present when we arrived but we contacted him via WhatsApp and he came within a couple of minutes and was always on call via whatsapp. The room itself was clean, had a comfortable mattress and great A/C. The shared bathrooms were also spotless. The reception area always had cold drinking water, fruits and cakes for free. The location of this place is top notch. It's in a quiet street but close enough to bus stops, restaurants, bars and temples. The restaurant opposite is highly recommended! Overall we loved staying at this accommodation and would recommend it to anyone coming to Bangkok.

The comfortable large downstairs lounge with fridge to keep drinks cold, as well as snacks coffee etc on offer throughout the day and night made for a very welcoming atmosphere after a long days travel. My bedroom was immaculate and so pretty with lovely sheets and duvet. The lady at reception was very helpful when I needed help to solve a problem. The way it works is that she calls her son and passes phone over so one can speak with a fluent English speaker. This gentleman was wonderful as I was anxious, having forgotten to give back the key to my bungalow on Koh Samet Island. He then explained to his mum the situation and she then rang on my behalf for ease of communication, and I was able to assure the bungalow owner that I would post back the key the next day. It was such a relief and it's this kind of helpfulness that remains such a good memory of a place long after the stay is over. I was very grateful for the help offered. It's a lovely little place.

Being somewhat the village idiot when it comes to technology I found the intercom at the entrance difficult to fathom. Didn't know if I could talk into it. A little written step by step instruction would be helpful for the luddites out there..

We loved our time at Baan U-Sabai! It was lovely and clean, we had plenty of room in our double room, and we were able to keep the air conditioning on even when we left the room. The shower and toilet rooms were quite small, but everything worked perfectly and was kept very clean. The free snacks were such a treat, great for a little pick me up in the afternoon or a light breakfast. There is a small communal area downstairs where we made friends with some other guests. The restaurant straight across the road was amazing as well, very cheap and fantastic food. Location was wonderful, very quiet at night, but still close enough to walk to Khao San Road. The staff are very friendly and allowed us to keep our luggage stored there after check in and allowed us access to the showers and toilets. Highly recommend!

Loved this property!! Great location - we didn’t see all the tourist attractions from here but it would have been very easy to get to them; was also very quiet and peaceful in a little local area off one of the main roads. Close to 7-eleven, and tuktuks/taxis pulled up on the main road so easy for transport. Very friendly staff! Lady on site didn’t speak much English but was very kind and polite to us, the guy in the office/on the phone was very helpful. We arrived way before check in time and he made sure that the room was made ready as soon as it could be, before it was ready we were able to sit in the lobby and eat free snacks and chill after using the showers.

One of the best places we have stayed until now. Everyone was very kind and so helpful. There were plenty of delicious snacks in the lobby that we could have during our whole stay, coffee and water as well. When we checked out they kept our luggage until the afternoon and left us use the lobby (coffee and snacks as well) and the bathroom with some fresh towels, so we could take a shower. They made everything so easy. Everything was very clean as well! The location was good as there were so many things and places around. We highly suggest this beautiful place.

What a delightful experience at this charming family-owned establishment. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Birth is very kind and very approachable as well as his mother and wife. ❤️ I must say, our room exceeded our expectations though the matress is not that soft, but it's not too hard as well. It diesn't matter at all because the room is spotlessly clean and had a lovely ambiance. The room looked brand new, and the shared bathrooms were impeccably maintained. Surprisingly, despite being shared, it felt like we had our own private bathroom. The added bonus of complimentary shampoo and soap made our stay even more convenient. What truly impressed me was the owner's generosity. They provided a wide range of complimentary amenities in the pantry area, including water, coffee, tea, snacks, bread, and even bananas all for FREE! It was such a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, there was a TV available for our entertainment. The location of the place was perfect for us. It was conveniently situated near the pier and temples, and just a short walking distance of less than 10 minutes to Khao San Road. To be honest, I couldn't think of any negative feedback to provide. Our stay here was simply wonderful, and I can't wait to book this place again when we return to Bangkok.

A great spot! We arrived late to Bangkok after a long bus ride from Chiang Mai. The room was really comfortable and clean with brilliant aircon, so good with the intense heat in Thailand at the min! The lady at reception was so sweet and helpful. We were catching an international flight late in the evening on check out day and asked could we leave our bags at the hotel for the day which was no problem at all! The lady at reception was even as kind as to let us use the shower facilities before we headed off to the airport along with relaxing in the foyer with free snacks and drinks long after our check out time. So kind! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

It looks much better than the pictures, worth every penny, very cheap for the price, the owner's daughter with an amazing welcome makes you feel the most comfortable in the world! Thank you very much, I am sure I will return to your hotel again and will recommend it to friends, it was amazing! Check-in and check-out went smoothly ❤🤟🇮🇱
