This is the ideal place to spend a few relaxing days. We stayed for two nights and felt very comfortable throughout. I would recommend it more for couples than for families with children. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom, and I really enjoyed the balcony – it added a lovely touch to our stay. Breakfast was exceptional, with many delicious and varied options. We ate at two nearby restaurants (you can find them on Google), and I wholeheartedly recommend both – they had playgrounds for kids and the food was absolutely delicious. Just keep in mind that the kitchen closes quite early, around 8 PM. Overall, I truly recommend this place. The staff may come across as a bit distant, but they are very respectful and professional.

Very scenic location with a view of the all valley and mountains. Wonderfully decorated and peaceful. Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night only on tje go and we regretted not having more time in the beautiful location.

The balcony runs all around the house and connects several rooms, although beautiful and decorated with flowers unfortunately not all other guests (with dogs etc) have the precaution not to pass in front of your room and even look inside. Maybe this could be reminded to people at check in or to put a divider in between.

Amazing view, incredibly helpful, courteous, and friendly host, and the best tasting, most perfectly cooked fried eggs I’ve ever eaten!

Walls were a bit “thin” meaning you could hear other guests and they could hear you. One family had a dog that would bark quite loudly. The wrap around balcony, offering great views of the countryside, also allowed other guests the chance to see you in the bathroom. Window coverings were mostly see through. Internet was really slow (almost unresponsive) during part of our stay.

This setting was peaceful and stunning and just as I'd hoped for my stay near Salzburg! Went for a morning walk at sunrise and found myself spinning and singing like Julie Andrews in the Sound of Music, looking out over the mountains and green hills before me! My room was lovely and comfortable! And the owner and their family were so kind, helpful and hospitable, even letting me use their microwave to pop some popcorn! The breakfast spread was amazing too! I just loved my stay!!

First thing to be mentioned about Stallerhof are the friendly hosts. Monika helped us with everything for a comfortable and pleasurable stay. Her recommendations were just perfect for us. We had a great dinner and enjoyable day out. The scenery from the house is like a dream. Wish we could have stayed longer.

There was nothing we did not like. Maybe only the rooms could have a little bit more light.

The location is on a quiet hill with a great view to the mountains and the valley. Late check-in was possible and very convenient. (Breakfast was served on a balcony with a great view (possible also inside. Breakfast variety was OK. Location for Golling waterfall is great. Free parking on site.

Really minor things - No elevator to our first floor room. The windows covers did not fully blocked the sun light in the morning (but this was the case in almost all Austrian hotels we booked) also, I thought the bed and pillow were too soft (while my husband thought it was OK)

This place is AMAZING! Words can’t describe the views here. Monica was a wonderful host. Her breakfasts were delicious . It was our favorite place in Austria. They have a worker there that works their farm we had so much fun with him. I’ve told everyone about this place . You must book it !

Words can not express how beautiful everything was! The view is breathtaking, the room was amazing, very clean and with acces to a garden lounge area facing the mountains. The staff was very nice and polite, and took care of our needs. Breakfast was also very tasty and various.

Very kind owner, made us feel welcome. Even the ski gear could dry in the basement even though there isn’t a dedicated ski room. Good breakfast, better options than in some more expensive places. We were allowed to pet the pony’s, great experience for my young child.

Room was very warm and I couldn’t find a temperature control, I solved the problem by opening the window(s).

Very friendly host and felt very welcome. Breakfast was good, some variation in bread would be welcome. The view was magnificent, would have loved a chair to sit outside and enjoy it more. Bathroom was all in order, but could use better ventilation.

A chromecast on TV could be added. Some activity or small thing to do outside for a lost hour, since the location is a little bit remote.
