The location of the Maldron is great for passengers transiting through Dublin Airport. The hotel is clean and the staff very courteous and friendly. I particularly liked the excellent selection of TV channels. The shuttle bus drivers were exceptional. The coffee machine and biscuits in the room were an unexpected bonus.

The Airport signage to the Courtesy shuttle desperately needs improvement. Especially at T2.

Overall I had a nice one night stay and you can’t beat this location. I got in at midnight and walked about ten minutes to the hotel with a rolly suitcase. There was a sidewalk the whole time and it was quite busy for that late at night, so I felt safe. There’s a 24 hr McDonald’s and gas station on the way, which was very convenient. The room was comfortable and simple and staff was friendly. There are a couple different walking routes to the airport so ask the staff which way to go depending on your terminal.

There’s a van shuttle to and from the airport, but it filled up quickly when I had to get from the hotel to the airport. My options were to wait 30 minutes for the next shuttle (didn’t have time for that) or walk. I walked, which was fine for me. Just something to note. Don’t depend on getting in the first shuttle if you’re short on time. Rooms are a bit dated, but I didn’t mind. You are mostly paying for the close location.

The location to Dublin airport is superb. You don’t hear the planes at all - which is surprising. However we did hear every step of the occupants above us - thankfully they went to bed early. I would like to add that I’ve stayed here a few times now and hearing the occupants above was a first for me so it’s not the norm The rooms are clean and the breakfast is “so so” (great but not compared to other Irish hotel offerings).

This hotel is a rabbit warren and some of the rooms are a long walk to get to. The signage for the lift etc are bad and unless you know where you are going - it gets confusing

We had a very short but very enjoyable stay at The Maldron Dublin Airport. Our first interaction was on check-in when the very nice gentleman dealing with us upgraded us to an executive mini suite !! The room was a very good size as was the bathroom and everywhere was immaculately clean. Breakfast in the morning was super. All of the staff that we met were very nice and very welcoming & helpful... And it was a great start to our morning trip to the airport to be greeted by the shuttle bus driver, John, welcoming us to his Love Bus, complete with Soul Music 😀. We would definitely recommend a stay in this hotel.

The front desk staff absolutely outstanding. WE were travelling back to the states, but I am Irish by birth. So, I was travelling with my two daughters, one whom arrived earlier to hotel than me and the staff accommodated her with a message I had left earlier. The next morning as we had a lot of luggage, we could not find our toothbrushes when I went to the front desk again the young gentleman welcomed me with a smile, and I explained my situation like magic he produced three toothbrushes. You may say a small gesture but to me a big impact. Validating the parking again seamless as the young woman explained we had 15 minutes and for any reason to please return again a very welcomed kindness. I have stayed in the past and always enjoyed knowing the regular staff an older lady used to help me when I travelled with my kids at breakfast she may have retired but I am truly impressed by the staff, and I will be returning again soon. Relaxing location. The reception area with chairs to sit and relax. The provision of the shuttle bus. The clean surroundings of the hotel. Available public transportation facility. The provision of a restaurant. The provision of a snack bar. The lift for going up or down. The clean bedroom. Provision of clean bath towels (size). Strong shower. Access to daylight from the room, this important during summer. The whole hotel environment is brilliant for relaxation.

More light in the room for the partially sighted guest. The lights provided are not enough for someone who is partially sighted, so they do not have to put on all the light to disturb another person sleeping in the room.

We stayed for 2 nights and arrived late in the evening as we had an early flight to catch the following morning but a late check in was no problem! As it was a special occasion, we arrived into our spotless room to a great surprise, which was very much appreciated and the effort made by the staff was exceptional! Top class effort with the personalised card, which I will be keeping hold of! The location is great, the airport is literally a 7 or 8 minute walk away and it's easily accessible by foot. There are buses going also if needed. I would most definitely stay again, and recommend!

The staff were great, and literally couldn't do enough, even though we weren't staying long at the hotel. Therefore, there was nothing I didn't like.

Super convenient because it's right next to the airport, so the terminals are five minutes away, or there is a shuttle bus every half hour, so that's good. Modern, clean, sleek overall, with a comfortable room - very quiet despite the airport next door. The staff was nice and polite; breakfast is good and varied, and there is a good dinner menu at reasonable prices. The bar offers nice drinks. It's generally comfortable, and the room has a coffee machine, kettle with a variety of teas, biscuits, and water.

To make it perfect, it would need towel racks in the bathroom, and more water power in the shower.

Great location for the airport especially if arriving late at night, extremely useful. Very spacious room and large, comfortable bed. Very useful to be able to request a late check out by 1pm!

I would really recommend the online check in (which I unfortunately missed out despite the several email reminders), as checking in at the hotel can be a bit slow. Unfortunately although we'd requested the late check out, when we got back we had been locked out of our room. Luckily the very friendly cleaner allowed us in without needing to go all the way back to reception. A bit pricey, but I guess it's to be expected due to the location and the great, very high standard amenities. However overall a great place to stay for a late flight, and for a late checkout after a volunteering event in Malahide in the morning!

We stayed at the Maldron a few years ago and didn’t have the best experience. However we decided to give it another go as we received a special deal. We were pleasantly surprised as our room was cleaner and we had a bath this time. We also weren’t disturbed by any noise from other guests. The breakfast selection was great and the staff were friendly. The reception staff even arranged for us to have a slightly earlier check in which we appreciated as we had been up very early to drive down to the airport. It is closest hotel to the airport and the free regular shuttles are an added bonus. There’s also shops and places to eat within walking distance. :)
