Everything exceeded our expectations. The Resort, the Staff (every single one) specially at the Restaurant, the Villa itself was beyond exceptional. We enjoyed the Sea View Villa so much, it was super clean, spacious and we could use the outdoor Pool as it has privacy. The Sea is gorgeous, specially during Sunset. The Staff at the Restaurant worked above and beyond to serve us and accommodated all our requests. There are many activities can be done including visiting the Mangrove Park and cycling around. Overall we had a great stay and we can’t wait to come back again in Winter time. Special thanks to the friendly and cheerful Staff in the Resort.

Kingfisher Retreat is truly a hidden gem—where the mountains meet the ocean in the most breathtaking way. Our stay was an unforgettable mix of adventure and relaxation, from spotting turtles and gazelles at the mangrove center to winding down with a private bonfire under the stars. A huge thank you to Eslam, who made our experience even more special with his incredible service and deep knowledge of the area. His passion for what he does really shines through, and we couldn’t have asked for a better coordinator. The in-room dining was great, but the dinner buffet could use a little improvement. It would also be nice to see more couple-friendly activities like breakfast by the beach or a cozy movie night under the stars. That being said, the overall experience was amazing, and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Absolute stunning place! From the pictures and reviews it looked amazing but really being the and enjoying the villa, pool, resturant and private beach so awesome! Food was some of the best food I ever had, service outstanding and weather amazing. I would especially recommend muslims families or couples to go visit as it is fully secluded and isolated. Lastly a big thanks to our host Mohammad - we are really grateful to his and the entire retreat’s surface.

Nothing, perfect. Even Kalba district had some very nice places to see (hanging gardens, restaurants, architecture, natural scenary)

Amazing overall customer service , everyone was positive and friendly. The place is calm, and nature was at its finest. We fell in love with the serenity of the place.

Despite paying for the most expensive view our private pool didn't have a temperature control pool which damped our visit alot as my 3 year old was looking forward to swimming but the pool was ice cold. One of our dinner meals was disrupted by the team who decided without a headsup to bring out a plate of nuggets and chips to my daughter despite me already placing an order for something else for her and her being in the middle of eating. This caused a huge commotion and meltdown as I didnt want her to have junk food that night but she wanted the food that was brought in unexpectedly.

Excellent service and privacy. Everything was clean and it is the best retreat to get out from the husle and buzzle of Dubai. Also great job from the all personnels and thectechnivcal team who maintain this retreat. As a geologist with a speciality in the costal environment I hva enjoyed the mangrove, aquarium that was emphasising in the awarness of protecting our environment.

Few minor things, like the bird watching homes lack a little bit of explanation and the fact that is was a little bit of a small space. I would love if this retreat can improve and extend more these rehabilitation centers ( birds, turtle, etc. ) which were amazing.

Kingfisher is definitely one of the best staycations we’ve had since moving to Dubai. The property is gorgeous, located within the Khor Kalba reserve, so it’s possible to observe the beautiful nature around the mangroves as well as sunbathe in a secluded beach. The hotel assigned Maher to drive us around the property in a golf cart during our stay and he was fantastic, super friendly and attentive. We had a private heated pool in our room and two bikes to explore the surroundings on our own. There was a bonfire in the common area near the restaurant, which btw was delicious. We had an unforgettable weekend!

It was an exceptional experience. I had an amazing stay; the room was pristine, and the five-star service was impeccable from the moment I arrived until my departure. All credit and appreciation go to my trip companion from the Kingfisher team, especially Mr. Eslam. His overwhelming, pleasant, timely, and efficient service made our stay truly remarkable. I am deeply grateful for his dedication and attention to detail, which ensured that every aspect of our visit was perfect. Thank you for making this stay a memorable experience that i will cherish for a long time.

The tent was very cozy and the heated private pool was just amazing. Added to this the private beach, the bird and animal park and the mangrove walk make this place an amazing place to stay. The quality and the taste of the food was exceptional, i can still taste the yummy breakfast. And to add to all this the staff were just amazing, be it at the reception, the boat ride to the island, the restaurant staff or the golf cart drivers, all of them were very cordial and pleasant. Definitely going back.

Very isolated and yet comfortable. Staff is very friendly helpful and polite. Beach is amazing and it feels like it’s all to yourself! Mangrove Center nearby is absolutely wonderful, small yet every informative and mangroves forest is indeed a wonder in such a climate. Very well done staff and maintenance team. Will definitely be back.

Everything was great overall. Mosquitos in the evening but the room is provided with repellent though good idea still to bring the spray. Hotel also warned about it in advance.

First is the customer service it is amazing & everyone there is a good person. The location is perfect!! Rooms are fit enough for 2 persons, as well as outside area and the activities.

Just really small things : 1- Some of the wood , tent ceiling pvc and some small stuff inside the tent it self needed to be changed or fix 2- The private pool was very very cold even at 12PM afternoon.
