This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I absolutely love the location with the spectacular views , the amazing staff who always go above and beyond, the fact that you feel like you have your own separate cabin as the size of the rooms is incredible. The housekeeping staff were amazing Akhil and Nyein as well as the cleaning staff. There was a sandstorm as well as a thunder storm and on both occasions they were there straightaway to clean and clear away any sand and clean the balcony furniture. The catering staff were incredibly helpful and did all they could to make our stay amazing. Jayantha and Lakshitha in the bar area were very friendly and professional. Yu The and Agnelo in the restaurant on the three nights we are there were also friendly and gave us recommendations about the food. Amal and his team in the breakfast room were amazing and catered to our ever need. Amazing egg chefs! It was a nice touch giving the guests a written postcard from Deborah upon arrival. Jackie was very professional and friendly whenever we spoke to her and Ayesha helped every time we needed something. Being given a fruit bowl in our room most days was welcomed. We will definitely return and would highly recommend this place.

The bathroom/sink cabinets are a little tired and the wood is coming apart at the base. The douche was far too powerful and the water went everywhere. The ‘cold’ milk at the cereal station was very warm. Providing herbal/fruit flavoured teas, such as mint or chamomile in the rooms would be better, rather than simple green tea , breakfast tea etc.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at JA Hatta Fort Hotel, and we would like to sincerely appreciate the exceptional service and hospitality extended by your team. A special mention to Barath from the Front Office, who assisted us throughout our stay with such politeness and care. Whether it was a buggy ride or any request we had, he was always there with a smile, ensuring everything was handled perfectly. Fortunate, also from the Front Office, made our check-in and check-out experience incredibly smooth and seamless. She was efficient, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. At the restaurant, Naveen, the Restaurant Manager, was fabulous. He went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests and made our dining experience thoroughly enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Chef Murugan. When my father fell unwell during the trip, he thoughtfully prepared custom meals to suit his condition. His kindness and concern meant so much to our family – we’re deeply grateful. Lastly, a big shoutout to Sunil, who guided us during the archery and shooting activities. He was kind, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and engaging. Thanks to your wonderful team, our entire stay was nothing short of memorable. We truly felt cared for, and this level of genuine hospitality is what makes JA Hatta Fort Hotel stand out. We look forward to returning soon!

It is an older property but well taken care of. Staff is always cordial and helpful

The security always makes you feel like you are trespassing when you enter the property, not all but some of them. It is a hotel not a bank

Definitely a gem tucked in the Hatta mountains! We went as a family and every single staff member made us feel right at home. Special shoutouts to Phyo from Reservations who made sure we were taken care of when our initial booking unexpectedly changed. Aryan made check-in smooth and answered all our "activities" questions with a smile! Aung Ko who made sure our rooms remained spotless (a hard task as we have 5 kids who can't keep anything clean for longer than an hour). And Neethu at the spa took care of my feet after hiking up to get an up-close look at the Hatta sign. The Gazebo restaurant team served breakfast with smiles, and dinner at Jeema was top-tier thanks to their awesome crew. Honestly, 10/10 for service, vibes, and views. Already planning our next escape in the winter (if we can get a spot as we hear it's very popular during that time)!

Nothing much not to like.

Firstly, I'd like to commend the hotel group on their sustainability efforts. Using refillable glass bottles in the rooms and recycled packaging for complimentary toiletries is a positive example for other hotel groups. This hotel is set in a beautiful location and offers great amenities all around. The animals on the property were a lovely encounter especially for the kids and the two swimming pools were welcome relief in the July heat.

The terra cabins in which we stayed were a bit far away from the main hotel and reception. We had to call a golf cart every time we wanted to go to the restaurants or swim. In the heat, we felt sorry for the staff who had to drive up and down. Breakfast was a little basic but I think it's because it is low season during summer. The mini golf course requires some maintenance. The mattresses were not comfortable, and the pillows were flat.

I recently stayed at JA Hatta Fort Hotel and was absolutely enchanted by the whole experience. The hotel’s architecture and cozy, resort-style setting made it feel like a true escape from the city. What made it even more special were the unique activities—feeding the deer, watching the peacocks wander, horse riding, air gun and archery sessions, and of course, a deeply relaxing spa treatment. Each detail added a magical touch to the stay. The food options were also very good, offering something for everyone, and the overall atmosphere of the resort felt warm, welcoming, and full of character. This is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy both adventure and relaxation in one place. I can’t wait to return!

Our stay at JA Hatta Fort Hotel was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly receptionist, and the hospitality just continued throughout our stay. Every staff member—from housekeeping to the pool team—was incredibly courteous and helpful, making us feel right at home. The views of Hatta are absolutely stunning, and the serene surroundings made it the perfect escape from city life. We especially loved the animal encounters—they added a special touch to our visit and were a hit with our daughter. Dinner was fabulous! A huge thank you to the restaurant staff who went above and beyond to make our dining experience truly memorable. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. Breakfast was also a feast—plentiful and full of variety to suit all tastes. One of the highlights of our trip was the surprise birthday cake for our daughter. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made her day extra special. We truly appreciate the kindness and effort from the entire team. Thank you, JA Hatta Fort Hotel, for a wonderful and unforgettable stay. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The only downside during our visit was the weather—it was extremely hot, which made it difficult to enjoy some outdoor activities. Unfortunately, we missed the animal feeding sessions as the morning slot (8–9 AM) was too early for us, and the evening session (5–6 PM) was just too hot to be outside. That said, this didn’t take away from our overall experience. We absolutely loved our time here and would definitely recommend the hotel—just maybe during the cooler months for a more comfortable outdoor experience.

staff looks happy of what they do, polite and accommodating. breakfast spread is good, 10 mins drive to beautiful hatta dam, heritage village , plenty of restaurants nearby. comfortable bed, clean, quiet place

adult pool near the gazebo closes at 6pm , nothing to do there in summer months, dont worry room is comfortable to stay, wide projector to enjoy your netflix account, near club house needs improvement, please make an indoor play area for volleyball , badminton , have an guided / organize even paid activity to hatta dam / heritage village even to hanging garden

Place is at best location with very good property. Staff I met and was assisted Mr Mehran at reception, Ali and Biju who drove us to our chalet. The staff at Horse riding I don’t recall the name. All these were best with their services offered and eager to help at all levels. Thanks all these staff members for great service

The booking.com this time was pathetic as I have mentioned in my previous feedback. I was not expecting booking.com to handle bookings the way they did. Terrible experience this time with booking.com

The cabins were a real novelty, giving a glamping feel with still top notch comfort. The rock pool is great for families and the breakfast is excellent. Friendly staff helping us with all the activities, we will be back!

The walk from the hotel to the terra cabins meant traversing rocky gravel and rubble by a helipad... Building a tree-lined path here would make it much more pleasant and less dusty! Would have been nice to provide 4 towels for 4 people and to give more soap.
