Location, location, location!!! The Lady @ the Front Desk was SUPER NICE-both on the phone n in person!!! Didn't hear any 'hooligans' outside like @ some of the other Hotels I've stayed @-which is a BIG PLUS!

Wish the AC had been ON before we arrived-but it got COOL in the room relatively, quick! Power strip used to power up the mini fridge n microwave was BAD. Had to un-plug the microwave(Thankful we didn't need it) AND the PowerStrip and just plug the FRIDGE into the electrical outlet!

This motel is on the older side, more old fashioned furniture and bedding. But we have stayed here several times. It is clean! The A/C worked fabulously! It is across the street from the beach and restaurants and shark heads. You can walk the board walk by just crossing the street. It is quiet and safe. It has a nice pool. It is the most affordable place to stay!

The mattress was quite firm. And they don’t provide enough pillows but we always bring our own.

The smart mouth disrespectful Jamaican or Caribbean lady that worked and so call assisted me she has the worst attitude and customer care/service ever overall I really enjoy Starr inn out of all the hotels in that surrounding area but that Lady makes me turn around and away everytime I see it's her handling the check ins. That's very sad and bad for business I rather sleep in my car then to encounter such people

Best value EVER! Now remember it’s 50 bucks per night folks. It’s cosmetically dated but very clean and comfortable. Amazing value! Great location!

If you check in at night they require a $20 CASH, yes cash, per room deposit. I was told a “room damage” deposit. Made me slightly nervous but I had nothing to worry about. Obviously they’ve had issues before or they wouldn’t ask for that “deposit”. But it was perfectly quiet and I slept great!

the staff was super friendly and very kind. the place was clean and I had plenty of room. great price, they even offered breakfast. definitely will stay here again because of the gray staff me bers!

you can't even really consider this a complaint but since it's probably been a year since the heater has been turned on in the room that I was in, when I tried to cut it on, it gave off a very strong burnt dust smell.

The location is fantastic, right across the road from the beach, souvenir shop, and lots of great restaurants. the pool is nice and they have a bathroom at the pool(which I loved). the room was decent, it could definitely use some TLC though.

I really don’t have a complaint maybe just some pointers. Our room needed a good deep clean around the base of the bathtub. The comforter had cigarette burns all in it which really wasn’t a big deal for me, but it made it kind of scratchy to sleep with. Also the seal around are door had space in it, just needs a new seal because it has a pretty big gap at the bottom where bugs may be able to get in. The lock for extra protection at the top of the door kept coming unscrewed, but still worked okay, just needed to be screwed it with a screw gun. It was a really great stay for the price, honestly!

The staff were very friendly and nice, offered to take care of any issues just let them know. The rooms were big and spacious, I got a non-smoking one. The room had all I needed, a refrigrator, microwave, shower/bath, tv with direct tv, so i got to watch the playoffs at night after work. It was very reasonably priced for all the amenities, as well as providing a continental breakfast. It was a very nice location just off the beach as well. Very lovely stay.

There is nothing bad about the place that can be controlled. The owners are very nice and welcoming and open to discussion. It is an older facility so it does look older, but they do a great job with it.

Well nothing went as plan due to weather and I couldn't swim in the pool because they was doing their job and treating the pool. So I just relaxed in the room. Looked at the beautiful view and enjoy the peace of being with myself in a different location.As I heard the train pass it reminded me of Sarah who wanted the railroad built their brought smiles to my face to think that in a time where woman didn't have rights like we do today that she was such an influence and part of history today. The rooms in the hotel was clean and the people at the front desk was polite and caring and understanding. They was doing some work on the hotel but I know that once it is all finished it will look great.

In my room they plastered a part of the wall it needed to be painted over which I actually loved the color of the walls. I didn't like that I couldn't swim but I also understand why too. I still would recommend people to go here dispite the things I didn't like.

It was clean and roomie. The decorations were nice and everything in the room worked and the bed was comfy and it actually had three pillows for the king size bed which is much better than some hotels around there.

There was no elevator that I saw but there might have been one I just didn't see it. The only other negative was that you could hear people in the hall way outside crystal clear so they could probably hear you in the room which is no fun. We were by the stairwell so we constantly heard people up and down the stairs and there were children running back and forth up and down the stairs but that's no fault of the hotel.

the rooms were clean and efficient with a mini fridge and microwave. didn’t spend much time in the room but it was nice and the shower and tv and everything worked well. didn’t get a chance to even see the wifi situation or get in the pool but it looked really nice. right across the street from the beach less than a 3 minute walk. great value for the price and staff was nice as well. and they have waffles for breakfast. actually loved it all.
