From the start the staff in the front office were very lovely and helpful even though they were quite busy, then we were delighted to discover when we arrived at our room to see we had an upgrade from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom 😀. The kids' beds were not made up, but it was not a big issue. Being school holidays, the parks grounds were pretty clean and tidy in most places. Lots for the kids to do with pool, jumping pillow, 3x parks, 2x camp kitchens, table tennis in rec room, tennis courts, and BBQ facilities positioned in several locations. Located right on the lake, short work to post office, IGA express, coffee shop, and across the bridge is a bottle shop and a fantastic fish and chips shop. Ocean is a short 15-minute bike ride away or a 7-minute drive. The bird feeding in the afternoon was a highlight for our grandchildren.

It is just disappointing that there are no pets during school holidays or public holidays. Our little dog is like one of the children, so it is sad not being able to bring her. Not everyone can get holidays outside these times because of work commitments and work shut-down times when you are forced to take your leave over Christmas.

Everything was perfect and the cabin was so big and roomy for the price we paid. We found it great value. The check in check out process was so easy. The rooms and kitchen etc were clean and modern. Our 2br cabin even had a large outdoor setting on the back deck wirh an additional outdoor kitchen. It had a washing machine, basket, pegs and clothesline. Had a full stove/ oven and a decent sized fridge/ freezer which is very handy for a keep fisherman, as is the outdoor kitchen. Bed and pillows were very comfy.

Only thing not there was a BBQ but we didn't miss it. And the light was out in the rangehood above the full stove/ oven. Thats the only negative if there was anything but really not a problem.

The staff were amazing and accommodating! Very friendly and check in was easy. The cabin was amazing , spacious and excellent value for money. It was equipped with everything that you could possibly need. Unfortunately hubby was feeling unwell the evening of arrival and had to depart - but he would have stayed a 2nd night otherwise. Unfortunately can't give a bed rating. because he didnt sleep the night but it looked very comfy. Next time I will join him and we will stay a few nights!

The 2 bedroom cabin was clean, comfortable, quiet and very well catered. The washing machine in the cabin meant we were able to pop a wash on & leave it out to dry, meaning we were able to relax when we got home. The cabin was spacious, with plenty of space for the kids to explore, the beds were SO comfy, everything was very clean and well maintained. There were so many choices of things to do, the kids loved the bouncing pillow and the mini golf, and we were situated close to amenities/park/bbqs which was so convenient!

Not a single complaint from us! We were very happy.

Perfect location to lake, parks, walking distance to local shops. Very clean, comfortable, large rooms in cabins. Grounds and shared facilities constantly cleaned and maintained.

Cabin's front door self locked so key needed to be kept with you if you wanted to sit outside and close the door from insects at night etc. All overhead rooms quite bright - lamps needed, especially in the bedrooms and one in the lounge room. No internet connection for TV.

We travelled for a family gathering nearby. The size, location and setting exceeded expectations. The beds were supremely comfortable. The bathroom facilities were a little worn, but clean and although we didn't use it, I was very pleased to see that there was a washing machine provided, which I will use on my next and longer stay. As we arrived afterhours and left early, we didn't see any staff, but the afterhours check-in was easy.

Very happy with everything. I don't need appliances such as dishwasher and dryer.

Everything was clean, comfortable and in great condition. The kitchen & lounge area was well sized and appeared to have what I would need to cook a meal (I had eaten out so didn't need it). The bedrooms & beds were well sized and the main bed very comfortable, it wouldn't be out of place in a hotel. I loved the access to a personal washing machine even though I didn't need it for one night. The location of the cabins amongst the trees was quiet and peaceful but still close to the water. Sitting on the undercover eating area in the morning while drinking my coffee and staring at the lake view was a real pleasure. The cabins were also across from a very well maintained BBQ & kids play area.

The only downside was the reception only being open between 9am & 5pm. I arrived after 5 pm on the night of check-in which meant I needed to wait until after 9am to leave the next day so I could complete the check-in process.

It’s very big for a two bedroom cabin I really loved it it felt homey very comfortable I loved that there was a washing machine in the cabin so you don’t have to worry about coins for the laundry, The cabin was very tidy Very quiet location The kids loved the big jumping pillow and bird Averys and I love that you can borrow movies at reception also We will be definitely coming back in the future ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best cabin we have been in so far Good job, Discovery Parks 👍

Easy to find Great location not to far from shops and other stuff to do We all enjoyed the pool and jumping pillow plus spa in our cabin was great size and very relaxing BBQ area was nice and clean

Only down fall was not alot of cooking pans/pots for large family's and no chopping board or sharp knife take your own is my recommendation And be careful in the cabin if the floor gets wet either from shower/ spa or the pool as we had several falls from the tiles being super slippery even with just a little water

Nice location. Cabins were ok but showing their age. Comfortable, spacious and clean. Prompt service. Door on stove fell off but staff were quick to fix (thankyou). Thanks for the stay.

Maybe need a fan in the toilet. Stove knobs (controls) faded so couldn't see exactly if on / off, high or low, etc. Gutters on cabin roof need a good clean. Ongoing job I suspect. Like everywhere, WiFi is an issue and needs an upgrade but we understand. It was needed for some work jobs but we coped.
