I arrived on a very cold day and the staff had already put the heating on so my room was very cosy. It is double glazed so even though it was winter the room never felt cold, even without the heating running constantly. The room was a very good size. The tea/coffee etc was replenished daily. I forgot my charger and they kindly loaned me one for my stay. There are laundry facilities at a reasonable cost. It is conveniently located close to the motorway. Only a 5 minute car journey to a selection of cafes and supermarkets.

The only thing issue I had was the outside lighting shined through the door covering until late at night and the curtains would be better if they were a heavier blackout to enable sleeping longer.

Location. Value for money. Clean. Big bed.

The location, the room, the proximity to the main City of Dunedin are the winning points for our stay at Bonnie Knights Motel. We arrived after a long day of travel and when we got into our room, we were so pleased with the room, the cleanliness, amenities and the fact that the heating was turned on so as to ensure we walked into a warm, comfortable room. Amazing motel and would definitely be staying here the next time we are in Dunedin.

Absolutely zero flaws. We loved everything

We enjoyed our stay. The room was warm when we arrived but when sitting down later we had to use the small portable heaters provided. There were four beds, the singles were in a separate room. The kitchen was well set up and the shower was good. We parked outside the door. The curtains blocked out the light and the beds were comfortable. We would stay again.

No electric blankets on the single beds and the bathroom heater didn’t work.

I was traveling with my mum and toddler to Dunedin for a hearing test for my little one. The room was comfy and exactly what we needed, there were spare beds for my mum in a seperate room for her privacy. Everything was very clean, there was ample heating for the cooler nights and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a quick breakfast before heading off. The reception was friendly and welcoming. I couldn't ask for anything more.

We attended a wedding in Mosgiel so it was very convenient being just down the road from the venue. In the room see particularly wanted to be able to have our little girl in a separate space to the lounge room so we could watch tv without disturbing her sleep. Our little girl loved the little playground area just outside the room.

Lovely accommodations. Very spacious and clean with great bed and amazing spa bath bathroom. Easy to find and close enough to town. There is a question about 'would I recommend as a romantic place to stay', well the facilities make it possible the location and view do not. But still a great place to stay with friendly staff.

Convenient location to where my friends were. Had all the basics required. Easy. Tidy. Studio room was so spacious. Everything was beautifully clean. Walking distance to Woolworths and Z petrol station. Highly recommend.

Few of the cupboards looked a little water damaged and the electric blanket only worked on side. Shower water went through the door onto the floor.

the staff made us we; loomed and looked after our every need until the time we left. this motel is situated in a perfect spot for exploring DUNEDIN, the Otago Peninsula and otago region per se. we would have no reservations about recommending this as an excellent place to stay. thank you for your generous hospitality.

We arrived well after closing hours. Our room was conveniently at the end, lights and heaters were on. It was very welcoming. Even though we only stayed the one night as had early morning flights out, I was pleasantly surprised in how big our unit was......definitely value for money.

I didn't like that I only had the unit for 7 hours, but that's on me and my schedule. Would have liked to stay longer to enjoy the roomy room.
