beautiful hotel with gorgeous setting, furniture and staircases!! breakfast was great with lots of options and the service staff were so helpful and accommodating. fitness Center was quite large and well equipped. bed was comfortable and the bedroom was large, with lots of space for bags. under floor heating in the bathroom was a dream as it was snowing for the duration of our trip.

there is only one lift, which was fine as we used the stairs most of the time. it could delay check out if you were in a hurry.

The service of the hotel staff was awesome. The rooms are comfortable and the bed is big. The bathroom has floor heating and that was fantastic. The breakfast is good. The hotel has a underground parking. There is one tram (23) that stops almost in front of the hotel and brings you to the city center. Very recommendable.

When we went for breakfast in the hotel, we needed to change the clothes afterwards, since the smell there is too strong, The reason is that there is one guy cooking the omelettes and all the smoke goes to the room. The parking is expensive (but all the parkings in Prague).

We loved the location and the style of the hotel. We had a sea view room with a balcony and on the whole it was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming and amenable. You got the feeling that nothing would be too much.

The room would have been a lot more comfortable if there had been an easier way to control the lights - it was pretty much all or nothing. In addition, for modern life, having more electricity sockets and in addition next to the bed would have made the stay more comfortable.

Absolutely perfect for a weekend in Prague. It's a little out of the (too busy) centre in a beautiful residential area. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, along with a nice park . It's about 20 mins walk to the start of the centre, but it's a nice walk. The building is lovely, the rooms are thoughtfully laid out and incredibly quiet. The pictures don't do it justice. We stayed in winter but there's a lovely outside terrace area for summer. Breakfast was amazing. The gym is probably the best hotel gym I have ever been to - spacious, well equipped , clean - 10 people could easily have been exercising in it without getting in each other's way (bit hot but manageable). But the best thing about the hotel was the staff. From the reception staff, to the cleaning team to the young gentleman at the bar who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their Czech wine offering (fantastic)- they could not have been more pleasant, accommodating, helpful, funny, genuinely kind and professional. If I could give the hotel 11 out of 10 I would.

The gym could use a fan.

The location is great, in a nice and calm neighborhood. The hotel is nice and our room was big and very comfortable.The bed was very comfy and the staff were lovely and helpful.

The WiFi did not work in our room...

Although I stayed there for only one night, I will return because the hotel and location are worth it. Fantastic old building full of crystal chandeliers and stone floors. Helpful staff who arrange everything immediately. I recommend breakfast on the terrace, which offers a breathtaking view.

Some elements of the hotel's equipment are touched by the ravages of time (e.g. the stone cladding in the bathroom was full of cavities). The hotel only provides coffee and tea in the rooms; bottled water is available for an additional fee.

A little bit outside of city centre, in a prosperous quarter of prague., but therefore very quiet. With tram you are in 15 minutes in city centre.

The breakfast was fantastic, it was a buffet with a choice of sitting in the garden, the library or the main restaurant on the ground floor left of the main lobby. The art on the walls is fabulous. All rooms have a double rolltop bath tub, a rarity in today's world. The staff were impeccable, friendly, polite and well spoken. Room and bed is comfortable high quality, dressing gown and slippers provided. Beautiful views over Prague. It is like going back in time. Very clean and comfortable. Within easy reach of the City Centre. Better than Prague Castle.

What was great - staff, decorations, cleaningness, all complementary items in the room, the view from the breakfast terrace, the smoked salmon and the egg salad from the breakfast menu, the massage from the Pure Spa (extra cost) There is a really nice vintage tram 15 meters from the hotel that takes you up to the castle on the other side of town during weekend days

What was not so great - the breakfast selection (pretty small especially in sweets area) The breakfast personell should be advised to be a bit more loose, I have noticed that most of them were trainees - they need to be inspired to overcome their shyness.

La Palais Art Hotel is the perfect place to stay if you want to enjoy Prague without being in the middle of the chaos. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The wellness area was nice and once again, very attentive staff. We especially loved the barman, who made our evenings at the bar a highlight, along with the great selection of tasty snacks. A truly relaxing and welcoming experience!
