We liked the staff who were very friendly, professional, helpful and courteous at all times. We loved our room, it was spacious, comfortable and the shower was powerful& hot. The food in the hotel was of exceptional high standard. We ate there several times . The cocktails were on point, in house entertainment was enjoyable. The spa area / gym and sauna/ steam was most appreciated on rainy mornings. The pool is big with comfortable sun loungers. The room was beautiful and we had fresh flowers and fruit to enjoy. Room service and house keeping was excellent. We would come back again to Hue and choose The Indochine to stay .

The speaker on T.V was not working properly, however this was reported to Manager. Some of the lifts were out of service.

We had a room with balcony facing the main street. Nevertheless there was absolute no disturbance by street noise. The room featured a ceiling mounted fan which allowed us to switch off aircon during day time. The hotel staff was very attentive and helpful. Especially the breakfast staff fulfilled all wishes. We stayed 4 nights and already on the second morning the people remembered our preferences. The location is in walking distance to many restaurants and the river. For the old city and the palace its better to get a Grab or taxi. 200m away there is a small shopping mall where we could buy water, snacks and some German beer for our day trips. There is also a ATM and a coffee shop. The hotel has a small gym, nothing too fancy but good enough to do maintenance. The pool is quite chlorinated. It's recommended to bring swimming goggles.

I didn't miss anything

The Indochine Palace is a lovely classic hotel, with wonderful staff, excellent breakfast selection, large and comfortable rooms and the best pool in Hue. The hotel is a fair distance from the Hue restaurant precinct but the precinct is easy to walk to if you’re reasonably fit and taxis are plentiful and inexpensive.

Our only suggestion would be for the hotel to provide a wider selection of wines by the glass, including proseccos, and beers, including Vietnam’s excellent IPAs and other craft beers. The currently available selection of beers and wines by the glass is very limited.

My recent 3-night stay at Indochine Palace in Hue was nothing short of delightful. Their warm hospitality and knowledge of the local area were invaluable. Convenient Location: The hotel's central location made it easy to access Hue's top attractions, including the Imperial City, Thien Mu Pagoda, and the Perfume River. Whether you're interested in history, culture, or simply enjoying the local cuisine, Indochine Palace is a great base for exploring the city. Overall: My experience at Indochine Palace was exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, excellent service, and a convenient location made it the perfect choice for my stay in Hue. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable experience in this beautiful city.

There is nothing to dislike

Great location, excellent facilities, friendly welcoming staff who were extremely helpful. As our selected room was unavailable, we were given an upgrade without any fuss or drama - just an apology for any inconvenience! We were delighted with the upgrade - excellent customer service and all done with sincerity and a smile. Breakfast was amazing - great selection of food and beverages available with service from polite and helpful staff. I used the spa which offered a range of treatments and massages at very reasonable prices. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable and had a safe, mini bar and lots of luxury extras.

Nothing to dislike

This is a beautiful hotel with greet facilities and amazing staff!! The best staff so far on our trip across Asia! Our room was amazing! Large, so comfortable, balcony overlooking the pool! And the bed - oh my the bed!! So soft and comfy!! Breakfast was super! Loads of choice and again outstanding service. We don’t often mention staff by name but Vy was really tremendous and gave us brilliant directions to everything we needed to know and just the best restaurant recommendation! All in all an awesome hotel, facilities, comfort, cleanliness and staff! Can not recommend this hotel enough!

If we’re being picky the hotel could be a little closer to downtown - 15 min walk down quite a main road. However, it was not a problem as Grab is so easy and cheap and picked us up from the hotel within minutes each time!

I was impressed by how checking-in was handled. We were invited to take a seat at the nearby armchairs. A lady receptionist came over to attend to us. Everything, including making payment, was carried out while we were seated. The whole process took place smoothly and swiftly. Then a staff member accompanied us to our rooms, giving us details on all that we needed to know concerning our stay. The luggage was promptly delivered to our rooms. The Twin room I stayed in was of a good size. The Super-single sized beds were comfortable. The welcoming sight were a small vase with 2 yellow roses and a plate of fruit on the working table. One complaint I had for this room was the toilet and the bathroom. Both gave me the claustrophobic feeling. A big sized person may have difficulty moving about in the toilet. The bathroom only had a long bathtub which occupied three-quarters of the bathroom. We, both in our 70s, had to climb in and out of the bathtub to take our showers. No bathmat was supplied for the bathtub which can be slippery. Again, a big sized-person would not be able to use the bathroom with ease. What upset us was both the toilet and bathroom shared the same door. If the bathroom was occupied, the toilet could not be used. It defeated the purpose of have the two seperated so that both occupants of the room could use them simultaneously. Fortunately, my couple friends who checked into a Double room had no such problem. There was a medium-sized mall just next to the hotel. 15-20 minutes walk away (according to our walking speed), there was a lively tourist area where bars, lounges, restaurants abound. On the way there, quite a few boutiques were found. The breakfast spread was varied but it was not up to my expectation since I had better breakfast in a boutique hotel in Hoi An earlier. On the whole, I was happy with Indochine but it could have been better had I been allocated another room with better toilet-bathroom layout.

Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Very nice pool, bar and gym facilities. We were allowed to use the pool after we checked out, including the shower and change room facilities. They also let us check in very early. Great breakfast buffet with multiple cuisines. Room and bed were lovely and comfortable. Very clean and lovely lemongrass scent throughout the property. It’s quick, easy and cheap to get a Grab or taxi to take you to where the restaurants and bars are. Very good price.

Bikes available for hire need some maintenance. The property itself needs better maintenance. It feels slightly run down, with mismatched paints around the place, for example. There isn’t much available around the restaurant in terms of places to eat.

Check-in was efficient and we were greeted with a refreshing towel and drink. Breakfast staff were exceptional as was the range of food. The pool was the largest and best we experienced on our trip. The pool facility included a games room, gymnasium, day spa and exceptionally well-appointed change rooms. Our room was tastefully appointed with an amazingly comfortable bed. Walking distance to a range of good restaurants. High Tea served by the pool was incredible.

The only suggestion I could make would be to extend the time for breakfast. It finished at 9.30am.

2 bedroom suite was very nice, however, just some constructive advice. This is not a 2 bedroom suite, but a 1 bedroom suite with an interconnecting door to another room. In the 1 bedroom suite, there is no door between the living room and the bedroom or the bathroom. I wonder how many people feel comfortable with people sitting in the sofa being able to view someone else in the bath. Please invest in frosted glass between the bedroom and living room. Even then, the wall behind the TV was exposed. Also the rooms were noisy, as there is a busy road in front of the hotel. You did offer to move us to the back of the hotel, but not to a 2 bedroom suite, but to 2 separate bedrooms with no shared living room.
