I cannot say enough good things about this hotel and the staff. I checked in one evening and was actually shown to my room by the chap on reception. A very nice little thing to do I thought. My room was a single but still plenty big enough. It was absolutely immaculate and spotlessly clean. Nice comfy bed, great towels and the shower was brilliant. I had a meal booked later in the bar. They have a fantastic range of beers, lagers and ciders. The food was fantastic and I can highly recommend the haggis! The breakfast is also superb. The location of those hotel is brilliant. A short drive out of Glasgow but in the beautiful village of Luss. Wakk out of the front door, straight across and in 5 minutes your on the shores of Loch Lomond and a superb viewing point. The whole experience was faultless! Credit to the staff, chefs and management.

Nothing, it's all faultless.

I stayed with you before and I have always enjoyed your hotel. The staff was very helpful and worked with me on possibly getting there in time for dinner coming from the Open at Troon. Main point of the stay was to show off your hotel to friends that joined us there and show them the town of Luss. Fortunately we got back for a few pics and pints to close out the night before early flights the next day. Bay the way a special thanks to the overnight staff member that served us late into the night and early morning help to get us on our way. He was outstanding and I wanted to thank him again for all his helpful hints for a safe journey to the airport. All the best to you. Hopefully see you next year.

Maybe extended dinner hours but I do understand that your staff has to go home. coming from America where dinner hour extends beyond 8:00 it takes some getting used to in Scotland. You can only have so many late night take out fish suppers. I’m not complaining, just offering my thoughts.

Everything was just great and spot-on about this stay. The single room was fine for my needs - comfortable bed, good tea and coffee and toiletries and a decent shower. The hotel had a traditional Scottish country feel to it and the bar was warm and welcoming. A great spread for breakfast and my vegetarian one was cooked perfectly. Staff were happy to substitute an egg for an extra sausage and provide non-dairy milk. I was able to check in with the night porter late at night with no hassle and he was happy to serve me a couple of drinks before I retired to my room. In all, fantastic value for money considering the great breakfast included. Highly recommended.

It's difficult to think of any down points! I'll certainly be back.

The garden room we stopped in was beautifully presented. Lovely, spacious decor and attention to detail which was appreciated.

When we had a drink at night , the snug was full and we were directed to the overflow restaurant room , which was nice but empty. Would have been better if we had been allowed to sit on one if the several empty tables in the main restaurant.

The hotel is very charming and welcoming. It has wonderful character and our "suite" accommodation was absolutely gorgeous. The accommodation is located a short walk from the main hotel, attached to their holiday cottages, in a beautiful setting by the riverside. The food in the hotel bar-restaurant was also wonderful! The location in the lovely village of Luss, on the shores of Loch Lomond, is superb.

Some wardrobe/closet space in the bedroom would have been useful, but it really is a tiny thing. Everything was great :)

What a wonderful surprise. Front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming and assisted with info on what there is to do in the area. Very cosy and welcoming lounge area with a very warm fire was fantastic. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom is really spacious. On site restaurant served delicious food at very reasonable prices. Will certainly stay here again and recommend to friends etc. Excellent value

I was going to sit down for dinner but as the spotlights where very bright and could not be turned down, due to suffering from migraine headaches, I decided to eat up the road at the Lodge on the Loch. It was a shame because the restaurant itself and the menu where excellent.

Only thing I did not like was the heat during the night. Not sure if this was caused by the heavy duvet or if heating throughout the hotel was turned on. My heating in the room was off and windows opened but it was still very hot - even for a cold night.

The theme of the hotel is amazing, it's such a lovely place, but the best thing was that the breakfast was absolutely incredible. Not just the quality of the food but the whole experience in the dining area was great.

The hotel was amazing, but if I had to pick one thing then I would say that shower in the Murray wasn't the best. The head wasn't very adjustable and the shower screen was awkward meaning it was tricky to turn on and get the water to the right temperature without splashing everywhere.

Lovely room with bath in en suite and good quality toiletries. Very quiet and relaxed. We enjoyed an excellent evening meal and there is a comfy sitting room with log fire to relax in. Breakfast had a very good choice if a little too do it yourself for my liking. A lovely atmospheric country hotel.

The room was quite cold and the heating could not be adjusted so being cold was my only complaint. The bathroom was in need of some redecorating but quite adequate. Breakfast service was a bit lacking.

Everything, it was me and my partners second time coming out for Christmas time. The food is always fantastic, along with the amazing customer service from all staff! The location is amazing at this time of year as it is an escape from the cities busy tourist filled centre. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet wee get away for a few nights!

Honestly that we couldn’t stay out there for longer! Not a complaint to the hotel, but would of loved to be closer up to the highland cows!
