The most gorgeous welcome from the staff, as well as “guard dog” Mia. We were here on a cold winter’s day, so the roof terrace wasn’t open but we had exclusive use of the hot tub up there as the sun set - just wonderful! Great spa experience as well. Breakfast is excellent, and the room was lovely and comfortable. Porters were on hand to help with luggage, and nothing was a problem at any point during the stay.

Check in advance re the roof terrace as it was closed during our stay due to low temperatures. Also be aware that not all rooms/apartments are on site, as we almost booked a lovely looking stay at their sister building 800m away.

Pleasant - well located, with the benefit of hindsight a better option than the main hotel which is closer to the Arena, but would have been more difficult with parking. The room was well presented.

We felt somewhat cheated by the sneaky advertising on Booking.Com in that we didn't get to see the fine print until after we booked - it wasn't clear that we were being allocated to a different venue/location. The price of EUR500 for the room was steep given we were at the 'second choice' venue.

The location is unbeatable. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Robe and slippers were provided even in the standard room. The valet parking was efficient.

I understand the need to cram as many rooms into a hotel floor as possible, in order to maximise the investment. But they have overdone it. The standard room was way too small. Perhaps it would be OK for one person, but my wife and I got tired of literally bumping into each other at the slightes movement. The only place I have seen hotel rooms this small was in Japan.

Breakfast was outstanding and staff super friendly! Rooms small but all we needed. I love that they welcome dogs without a fee. Location was perfect.

The hot tub on the rooftop wasn't hot enough, not even hot actually.

We absolutely loved our stay at Milano Hotel! The service was exceptional—the staff was incredibly accommodating. We had a lot of luggage, and they upgraded our room to a larger one without any extra charge. Since we arrived by car, we really appreciated their valet parking service—they took care of parking and handled our luggage for us. The rooftop terrace was stunning, offering a beautiful view of the Colosseum. The bar prices were reasonable, similar to what you'd find in the U.S.: $8–$9 for a glass of wine and $20 for a gin and tonic. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a tea kettle and a coffee machine. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Verona, making it easy to explore the city. A small but thoughtful touch—they even offered us bottled water for the road! We loved our stay and will definitely stay here again if we visit Verona in the future. Highly recommended!

What did you like? I was absolutely delighted with the location and the incredibly friendly, professional staff. The hotel’s position is perfect—I could even see part of the Arena from my window. The breakfast was delicious, served in a cosy, elegant restaurant. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful; I truly felt valued as a guest. I appreciated how they took care of my car by parking it in their garage, and when I called to ask about the location, they provided clear and helpful directions. During check-out, they kindly offered me a coffee while I waited for my car to be brought from the garage, which was a thoughtful touch. I stayed here with my 6-year-old son while visiting Verona, and we had a wonderful time. I definitely plan to return, next time hopefully for a romantic holiday :-).and I look forward to booking their terrace suite with a private jacuzzi!

The room is very spacious, very clean and the little pantry area was also well stocked. It would have been very convenient if I had wanted to cook a simple snack or meal, which I did not. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a valet parking service which was very helpful and professional as we could just leave the car in front of the hotel and they will take care of the rest. We stayed at The Verona House, which is a short distance from the actual hotel. I was at first a little concerned about the quality, and the location but it all turned out great. Very close Walking distance to old town, with cafes just round every corner.

The room was spacious, bathroom was clean, towels changed daily. Fantastic location facing the old castle and within walking distance of all the attractions. Staff were helpful. Free bike hire was nice as long as you aren't planing to go too far as there are only shoppers but they are supplied with a padlock and chain so perfect for pottering around the centre.

The hotel with the Spa is near the Arena so it is a bit disingenious calling this a spa hotel. That said we did use the spa facilites that the other hotel and the rooftop hot tub is definitely worth the trip.

We have stayed in Verona 5 times and this is by far the best hotel. The staff were exceptional! Nothing too much trouble , always friendly and smiling. The location was brilliant. Right in the centre. The room just what we needed and super clean. The breakfast was lovely. Everything you would want & again the staff literally nothing was too much trouble. The roof top bar and again the staff so lovely and friendly. The lovely chef lady was super helpful with my gluten free allergy and even did some GF cake every morning. So thoughtful. Thank you. We will definitely be returning to Hotel Milano & thoroughly recommend.

Centrally located luxury hotel, ideally situated for the Arena and an easy walk to the main attractions in Verona. Staff are highly professional and efficient, whilst offering a warm welcome and being very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and staff went out of their way to make my holiday birthday very special. Breakfast is a banquet and not to be missed! Room was exactly as described and shown in hotel photos - compact double room - very clean, the most comfortable bed and a plentiful supply of fresh towels. The roof top bar is worth a visit, make sure to book a table in advance! Would definitely recommend this hotel and it will be my first choice when I visit Verona again,
