The check in staff stayed open late as my transport arrived late

There is only 1 shower/bathroom that everyone shares and someone decided to take a shower for over 30 minutes blocking other people from using the facilities

Breakfast was great with pancakes and fresh fruit. The atmosphere, price and food offered were perfect. The staff went overboard to make your stay good. Comfortable sofa and charging plugs

Great breakfast for the price - exceeded expectations and good time. Bed was quite comfy for the price and the bedroom was a great side for my friend and I. The guy wt reception was lovely and accomodating.

We weren’t pleased when we saw the bathrooms which were shared (fine for the money) but not the cleanest and did not feel so secure. Any guest (male or female) could walk in at any moment. A lot of homelessness immediately outside the hotel which is to keep in mind especially if travelling solo or hoping to go out at night - and I mean there were homeless men lurking staring and coming up to me at 1am asking for some money. Wouldn’t go out at that time again whilst staying there!

The room was clean and quiet. The beds are in great shape, comfortable. Bradley speaks great english and was very helpful with everything we asked for and needed.

Our room had two showers. Only one had hot water.

I loved the location, it is just in the downtown of San Jose, plus everything is around the corner, food, tourist places, parks, museums. All that just in a 5-minute walk.

The receptionist was extremely kind! The interior of Casa Colon looks quite beautiful! The room and bathroom were spacious and clean! The served breakfast was also a nice surprise!

Great location and value for the money. The responsiveness of staff via Whatsapp was incredibly helpful, and overall the staff was so friendly and attentive.

The hotel was an older building, which had a lot of charm. The staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The room was a little small. Once we got our bags in, there wasn't much floor space left! You get what you pay for, and I didn't pay much, so I can't complain. The location wasn't great... there weren't any bars close by and only one restaurant. I didn't feel very safe when we strayed off the main road the hotel is located on. My bed squeaked every time I moved.

Location was in a pretty safe area with lots of food options around, close to bus terminal, nice staff

Very friendly staff, big room, we were upgraded to a room with a private bathroom as one was available. Good hot shower, really nice breakfast of scrambled eggs, fruit and coffee.
