Good location. Food very good. Slept very well. Good pillows. Good shower. Junior staff tried their best.

Cobwebs and a spider on the bath and behind bedside cabinets. Long wait for main meal. If I’d purchased the bottle of wine in the room, which I didn’t ,they would have made a 300% mark up on it. Real ale wasn’t looked after properly, ended up having a Guinness then walking up the road to the Nags Head for a decent pint. Given the cost and the size of the room (not sure why it was called superior) I feel breakfast should have been a given. A cup had been left on the sink in the bathroom with some used water in it. Senior staff not evident, felt sorry for waiting staff who didn’t seem happy.

This was our second stay at The Plough - we were visiting Scarborough for a football match (Scarborough vs Chester) and made a break of it on both occasions. This time we recommended The Plough to friends, who booked one of your cottages. Next time I think we'll book a cottage - it was gorgeous!!! Food in the restaurant also excellent, as was the overall ambience and friendliness of the staff.

Our room was quite small although a lot had been packed into it - fine for a night but we would not have wanted to be there for several days. Given it cost £164 for the night - this was not cheap for the size of the accommodation.

This country pub is close to Scarborough with on street parking roundabouts. Bar staff give you your room key, which are easy to find upstairs from scope. The room was well appointed, freshly decorated, and clean. All the usual facilities, and lots of cushions and pillows from stop. Everything seemed to work. I booked room only, but you could have breakfast for 18 lbs more. I didn't.

The only negative things where that there wasn't a bath towel, only a hand towel. Though. Didn't bother asking for one and I'm sure I would've got it. The room windows were sealed, and the room was quite hot. There didn't seem to be any way of getting fresh air. Walk with a bit of a headache. Being a pub, there wasn't really anywhere for guests apart from the main bar which was very busy.

It was a beautiful refurbished hotel, the rooms were very comfortable. It is situated in a beautiful area of Scarborough just a short drive to the beach. Great cooked to order breakfast, so delicious.

We checked in late afternoon and we were not told that dinner finished at 7pm. We missed dinner and had to walk to a nearby place. We were looking forward to just enjoying the Plough Inn. No Parking only limited parking in the street, which spaces outside the hotel became available at night.

We rented a house 23 North Street which was as we had expected. Set in a quiet location with a lovely back garden, as the sun shining we were able to use this facility. On arrival the house was very clean, tidy, well kept and welcoming. We had been left bread, butter, eggs and bacon enough to cover our 1st nights stay as we did not arrive until Sunday at 7.30pm we were pleased with the bread and butter, as the majority of food places stop serving at 7pm Parking was not a problem.

This is very picky, there were only 2 toilet rolls for potentially 4 guests we bought more.... would have liked ice in the freezer on arrival as well. The stairs in this house are VERY steep there is a notice on the wall stating this..... good job we are fit and healthy. Other than that nothing else.

Property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful accomodation with attention to detail throughout. Very clean and welcoming with enclosed outdoor space/seating area and private parking space. Brilliant location for Scarborough Open Air Theatre, with the added bonus of an optional shuttle bus provided by the Plough. Very friendly/helpful staff on check in, would 100% recommended. As a family with teenage children, the property was perfect for us, and we hope to return soon.

The cottage was lovely and well equipped, totally exceeding our expectations. The village is lovely and quiet with parking on the street. Down the road you have the Yew tree which serves breakfast, light bites, cakes and tea/coffee. There's also 2 x pubs the nags head and plough we didn't go in either but they both looked welcoming. The plough served food but the menus looked a little on the pricey side but I suppose if it's good it's worth it. Well Recommended 👍 we will be back in the future for sure.

The only thing I didn't like was all of the pillows. I found them uncomfortable sleeping and itchy when relaxing on the sofa. But this didn't affect my trip just took me a while to get to sleep.

The location was excellent . We stayed at the old post office cottage across from the Plough in . The cottage was absolutely stunning. and with the fine added touches of breakfast hamper and bottle of wine was lovely . We ate at the plough inn and found the food amazing and the place had a warm friendly vibe x Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a luxurious stay. Would definitely stay again x

Great location, particularly if staying over to visit the Open Air Theatre. Food and service at The Plough were to a very high standard and would recommend dropping in, even if just in the area. Accommodation / house was brilliant. Very clean, inviting, all fixtures / facilities to a high standard. Perfrct place to unwind and relax after a long day. Free bus if a guest to and from venue, so don't be put off its a couple of miles away. Highly recommend!!!

Our little holiday home had everything we could possible need and felt like we were staying in a hotel with all the extra finishing touches. We even had a coffee machine and pods and a little milk on the fridge on arrival. The house was stunning, stayed with my 14 year old daughter and our dog. We loved it all and. Went for breakfast at the little cafe at the end of the street which was delicious food and amazing staff. Thanks.
