The choice of places to stay in Scarbourgh is huge. It was purely on price and the pool I chose here. A warm welcome upon arriving. The staff were fantastic. It's this what stands out over chain hotels. I was disapointed to read the pool was closed on the next morning. I made use of it in the evening Istayed. I booked a table and pre-orded my food, which was ready as soon as I sat down. Fantastic ! Yes the hotel is a little dated & I could hear the next room snoring, but the free parking, Great staff, food and the pool/spa made up for it. Won't hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.
Maybe it was a one off but the radiators were stone cold at 4am, and i had to resort to using the electric heater. It was minus 1 outside.

Great value, great spa and swimming pool, great location, lovely staff!! Fantastic hotel, very friendly, no fuss. The reception staff were very kind letting me check in a bit earlier and I got a packet of shortbread. Not a routine though as I'd forgotten to bring my chocolate. The swimming pool, jacuzzi and steam room were clean and wonderful thankyou! Very efficient staff and well worth the money.
Nothing really , just a few minor things. My single bed was a bit bumpy but room was great for single person, bathroom was lovely. I forgot to pre book evening meal so missed out on my evening meal as told they were fully booked. It was a busy weekend, understandable.

Location is excellent.. This is the first time that we've stayed at the Park Manor Hotel since the early 90's.. Our first visit was in the late 80's back when the photographer used to come round at Dinner in the dining room and we've still got the photograph and keyring from way back then which we brought along with us for our recent stay as included in our review.. Oh! The pool is fantastic, we still love the lounge and the staff are absolutely wonderful, thank you to the girls and thank you to the Chef.
Nothing whatsoever

Room and value was amazing. Attention to detail on both layout and decor, combined with great housekeeping. Very probably one of the cleanest and well cared for Hotels I have stayed in within the UK.....and there has been a lot! Room was immaculate, perfect for one person. (Would be snug with two!) Did not try the pool....completely forgot it had one and did not bring my trunks! Front door access via key fob very convenient (Just need that on the rooms now as the keys are clunky!) Fantastic value for money (£75 per night no breakfast) Location was a 10 min walk from North Bay.... Large park across the road.
Car Park on the small side, but plenty of on road parking out front. Air conditioning needed in the lounge, although they had put plenty of fans out. My only regret is that I was travelling solo/ with friends and my Family didnt get to enjoy the Hotel. I will be back!

Excellent facilities, including swimming pool, jacuzzi, games room. Food was available virtually all day which was top notch, we couldn't fault it. Bed was comfortable and it was one of the few hotels I've been in where I didn't get neck ache from the pillows. Good size hotel car park. The added bonus was that being away from the sea front I wasn't expecting to see the sea but there it was in the distance which was great. Also a lovely park opposite the hotel which you could walk through to get to the sea front. We cant wait to return.
Can't find much to say other than the pool table could do with replacing or recovering and some new cues are needed but this is just nit picking really.

Lovely, friendly, cosy and comfortable hotel located 5 minutes walk from everything we wanted to access in Scarborough for a relaxing overnight stay. Leisure facilities absolutely wonderful and very relaxing. Beautiful view from the room was an added bonus.
Flies in some of the corridors. A fan was provided in the room but it was too loud and clattery to be of any use. Ended up in the function room by accident twice when trying to leave and a sign on the door would have made this an easy mistake to avoid. When desk staff are on the phone, a little bit of acknowledgement (e.g. 'I'll.be with you in a minute') would be nicer service than just pretending people waiting there in-person don't exist. These are honestly small nitpicks, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.

The whole package. Nothing is ever too much for any of the staff. They all work extremely well and are very friendly and accommodating. The room may be a little small but you are only there to sleep, I would rate more on the accommodation, sauna and swimming pool, food, drinks, courtesy of staff and above all, 100% on the location and easy access to the Hotel via road and also free parking on the adjacent roads if not enough room in the Hotel Car Park.
Difficult to answer that as there was nothing that I did not like. Okay, may be the travelling for two hours to get there but that has nothing to do with not enjoying the break, or using the Hotel. I continually recommend the Hotel to others and hope that they will come and enjoy the fun and hospitality that I always receive.

The hotel was really clean, a bit old fashioned in style but nothing to complain about that imo. The staff was nice. The rooms had all the facilities you need, they were warm however if you were cold (i don't know how lol) there was an extra blanket to put over the duvet. The toilet and shower were spotless Got to swim a bit and go in the hot tub which as well were clean.
The water temperature was a bit cold in the pool but that's more of a me thing.

The hotel is in a great location, 5 minutes from North Bay attractions and across the road from Peasholm Park. The beach is a five minute walk away. Rooms are spotless with plenty of storage, staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are great. There is a lift in the hotel if you need one. The hotel has a swimming pool, hot tub and sauna that is open late, it also has a games room with pool tables, table football and table tennis tables so there is lots to do if the weather is bad. It is easy to get to South Bay by the tourist buses that run along the front every 15 minutes, get an all day return ticket, great for families, you can come and go as you please all day and it only takes approx 5 minutes on the bus between the bays. We have stayed here 3 times now and will be booking again soon.
There is nothing about this hotel I can fault. Scarborough is a hilly place and if you are less mobile this maybe a problem in general.

Room was a reasonable size with sufficent storage for all my belongings & luggage. Both bed & bathroom were clean & comfortable. Bathroom was roomy & well laid out, features like the illuminated mirror were a nice touch. The provision off a fan for use in hot weather was unexpected (I didnt use it as their was sufficient ventilation from the open window). Having access to the steam room & jaccuzi after walking around in the adjacent landscaped park & over into the other half of Scarborough was an excellent way to recover
Couldn't find any maps or brochures for the town itself. The tourist leaflets I eventually found were in the games room (accessed via the lounge & a passageway behind the bar that I initially thought was a staff service corridor) but they were more regional than local. The hotel is in North bay area, which is well over a mile from the town centre, would've been nice to know how the public transport systems worked in case I had needed it (due to weather) to go exploring other parts off the town.
