Mar Boutique apartments is at the IMC mall - so a lot of attractions and restaurants are at a walking distance. The receptionists are so nice and helpful. Their English is basic but they were using Google translate and were able to assist us with a lot of valuable information. There is another side of that neighborhood that I will not advice to visit late in the night. Mar Boutique apartment is definitely a place I will book again in the future. We had a kitchen with everything, a washing machine and they provided the soap upon request, a place to dry clothes etc.. Air conditioner was perfect. The place is clean and well maintained.

The apartment that we booked had 3 bedrooms but just one bathroom - we were 5 (2 adults and 3 children) - so there were some contention to access the bathroom. The Wi-Fi had some blind spots and Internet reception was not good in some rooms, that was a small inconvenience.

The Apartments exceeded our expectations. The hosts were fantastic and very helpful and welcoming. We only stayed one night as we transited through Istanbul to visit Cappadocia. We are a family of 4 and they put an extra bed in so the children could have their own beds (without us asking - our apartment had 2 double beds). The apartment was clean, easy to find and was a great base. When we arrived we were a little worried about the location as it's tucked up a side street that didn't look great, but once inside it was brilliant. We parked our car at the back in the car park, which was very safe. It was a 30 mins walk through the Bazaar to the Blue Mosque and a great location for exploring the old town. The hosts gave us guidance on how to get where we wanted to be and helped us take our bags up to our apartment. Be sure to head up onto the roof terrace to check out the views. The following day we wanted a good breakfast recommendation before we headed off on a long drive. The restaurant they sent us to was superb and a great spot we wouldn't have found on our own. We would happily come back next time we visit Istanbul.

The only things are minor - better blackout curtains would improve the rooms, although I slept very well while here. A basic supply of dishwasher tablets/washing up liquid/tea/coffee would also be useful for those staying for a short time.

The apartment is in a wonderful location, everything is easily accessible on foot. The rooms are very neat and clean. the reservation staff are very friendly, communicative and always ready to help. The reception is open 24 hours a day, so if you have any questions, help is always provided.

Our room was in first floor, right next to reception. Since the soundproofing is quite poor, you could always hear everything that was happening in the reception, also at the neighbors. Another problem we encountered was the smoke detector constantly turning on. Although there was no reason for his beeping, he would come up with 3-4 times a day. So we were woken up by the sound for 3 nights. Until the last day, this problem was not solved. When we arrived, we found no water, coffee, tea or sugar in the room. But we got water after asking the employee.

The property was clean and exactly as shown in pics. Bathroom had all the required things. We stayed with four kids, they had Netflix and you tube to keep kids entertained. Washing machine, cloth drying stand and iron was available. Clean up service provided. The owners and the receptionist ( Muhammed)were very nice and polite people. The owner even lended us his metro pass until we got ours. The place was secure. We left the kids many time to get food etc. they had a wonderful view from terrace,walking distance to grand bazar and sulaimanye mosque and many cafe, restaurants. Metro, tram all just a few min walk away. My suggestion is first day walk around and you’ll realize that everything is walking distance. There was a bridge u could cross to go to taksim or galata. Overall wonderful experience.

There is nothing to dislike , but a suggestion if they provide breakfast it would be great for their business.

excellent appartment in excellent location, building and furniture are new , amazing building for family and travellers , we parked our car easily , there is a park place for car, apartment was clean and tidy, we had felt like our home in there, I loved the terrace and garden of the building , also owner really so friendly and helpful. thank you guys . I will visit you again!

Good location. You can easily walk to the old town of the city like the Blue Mosque. The building was newly renovated and the apartment was very cozy and comfortable. We even had to turn off the heat because it was warm in the house although the temperature outside was around 5 C degrees. The staff is very friendly, they can help you with ideas for example where to go to eat or they allow you to leave your baggage at the reception so you can enjoy the day after checking out without carrying your baggage with you. You can find just around the corner some nice coffee shops and local restaurants. And yes there are a few stray dogs and cats but they don’t bother you and they are a part of the city. We loved them. All in all it was a good choice for us as we were all day outside exploring Istanbul and it was nice to have a cozy place and a very comfortable bed to sleep in the night. Definitely worth the money!

Maybe you can install some coat hangers somewhere in the living room for the colder period of the year. We put our jackets on the sofa.

First of all, I would like to note the convenient location of the apartments, if you like walking, you can walk to the Sultanahmet and Balat areas, as well as to the Eminonu Pier. The staff is very polite and allowed us late check-in and check-out. The apartment was clean, and I especially like to mention the very comfortable beds. We also used the transfer service from and to the airport, everything went great!

The hosts were enthusiastic and welcoming. My kudos to Samet and Ahmed! They were always helpful and attentive during our stay. This mini-hotel is in a separate five-storey building, which looks like a tiny skyscraper among the ancient-looking and sometimes derelict buildings of the historic Fatih district. It has a private garden, elevator, and even an observation deck with chairs on the roof. The views from the roof made me feel like an ancient astronomer enjoying the night sky and the lights of modern Istanbul. Air conditioning, clean linens and towels were top-notch. A team of two cleaners cleaned the apartment midway through our stay. The hotel's location is very convenient, with most attractions reachable on foot within 30-40 minutes. There is paid parking for 10 euros per night.

Minor issues like flat batteries in air condition remote controls, which were readily replaced upon request; clogged drain pipe in the kitchen sink of Apartment 1; not enough coat hangers in some rooms, but overall these issues were offset by he positives.

I took the 3 bed room apartment, big and clean , two queen beds , 2 single beds , comfortable , good staff helpful 24/7

I chose the total cost refundable room with extra payment 210 euro for 2 nights instead of 189 for two days, and to pay at the facility, when i asked if i can cancel after one hour , they said it is not refundable ,and the money was charged already, when i checked the reservation mail its written unrefundable . Small bathroom , big guys like me hard to fit , hand shower broken , rooms are not soundproof , no batteries in the remoters, No view , no supermarkets nearby

I need to thank Mr. Abdul rahman and Mr. Abdulsamad, they were extremely helpful for everything! They were assisting in every way they could. Bless them both. The place is really nice and didn’t have any issue. It has a corner shop walking distance and restaurants on walking distance too! And within 10 to 15 min you can walk into Eminönü. Which was the best thing about it. The nearest metro is eminunu station but we used Uber and it was lot easier and cheaper for a group.
