I highly recommend this place! It's quite unassuming from the outside but has clearly recently had an internal upgrade. A lovely reception area (with very efficient and friendly service) and my room was very well appointed. Bed was super comfy. Free buffet breakfast was very much appreciated as there isn't really anything else in close walking distance (although Coles is only a 10min walk up the road). A big thank you to the staff. I would definitely stay here again.

Only a very small note - motel style layout, with the rooms up a set of external stairs. I'm not sure if there's a lift (I should have asked!) but just in case you have mobility issues - might be worth checking if there's an accessibility option.

The convenience with booking online, through to the follow up call by reception on the day to confirm check-in time. Friendly staff. Cleanliness of room, absolute comfy bed and pillows with clean sheets. The breakfast and coffee in your restaurant 😋 was awesome👌 and worth every cent! My grandson showed me a photo of a yellow crested cockatoo that visited his room when he opened his veranda door in the morning.

The bathroom tap in room 111 was loose and wobbled. I had to be careful using it. Also, advised reception there was a large crack in one glass plane already there when I checked into the room.

We stayed in a twin. The rooms are just like the photos, clean, tidy, and newly renovated. Buffet breakfast was delicious, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. Will be staying again!

There was no lift to the first or second floors from the car park, so we had to drag our suitcases up four flights of stairs. It was fine for us, but for elderly people, it would be difficult Side note, there was no toaster or microwave in our room

I had booked a garden view and was beautiful including the cockatoo that visits daily. Beds were super comfortable, room was clean and was a pleasant place to stay. The restaurant is classy and food was amazing. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Noise from others on below floor banging walls and slamming doors in and out during early hours of the morning. Can't help what others do in places you stay and this is a usual thing in most stays away.

Parking; walk-in shower; room service; digital room service order through phone. Bushlsbd tress / shrubs out side window; ‘quiet’ at night despite close proximity to highway.

Most of the room / bathroom was clean and well appointed - however, the entry to window/ balcony needed repair / paint; an insect screen would be required in summer; the ‘lovely’ curtains will be damaged quickly because there did not appear to be a lever to draw them closed / open. The bedside benches were too small for all the things usually kept close: phone, keys, magazine, book, glasses, water bottle!!!! Door security was very flimsy!! Requires urgent upgrade! Housekeeping staff need to check that the light bulbs are functional - one wasn’t.

Good size bedroom. Great views. Quiet Room, didn't hear much traffic noise. Easy access to parking & easy to exit. Comfortable bed. Great staff. Friendly. Very obliging if you needed something. Great to have a kettle, teabags & coffee for a cuppa!

No lifts to 3rd floor (or 2nd floor). Would be nice to have a fly wire door on sliding door..otherwise it lets the flies & nearly the cockatoos in!!....the fresh breeze was awesome!

Very nice, spacious room, with good charging options and well positioned switches for lights and A/C.

- defrosted freezer spilled out water when fridge door opened - hanging rail flew out when accidentally bumped gently with armful of hangers - no knob/ handle on inside of glass shower door - shower taps look like they lift, but turn (opposite ways) to increase water flow - water flows across the front of toilet to the drain - back of bathroom door needed cleaning

I booked a stay here as I had to be close by to a friends house for an event. I wouldn’t usually choose to stay in Killara but this hotel was great for a short stay. The room I was in was clean and newly renovated. Water temperature and pressure was excellent! AC worked great as well. Pillows were too soft for me but that’s my personal preference. The cafe and lobby were also nicely fit out - made it feel very luxurious!

Location wise there’s not much to do in this area, but if you needed to stay in the area, it’s a good option and the train station is a short 10 min walk down the road.

Onsite restaurant, onsite parking for larger vehicles, close to other food, restaurants, transport (train) and good road links to other parts of Sydney . Room size was great so didn’t feel cramped.

Would be good to have a desk or std table. Also good to have a screen door on the veranda sliding door so could have fresh air and not to air con over night.

Loved the location, handy to city. Loved the quietness even though near the main road, loved that breakfast was included, facility was clean, roomy and enjoyable. There is a conference venue on premises although I didn’t view it.

The only hindrance would be for those customers who have difficulty with stairs. All rooms have access mostly via stairs.
